********* was standing alert now, head facing in a very specific direction. Her ears were straight up and if one looked carefully, her fur had frizzed up slightly about her cheeks. "It most definitely is a youma... not a strong one... but a youma, nonetheless."
Certainly, her eyes were better adjusted to seeing the creature as it approached. It seemed decently large, but size wasn't always the deciding factor in regards to the strength of these sorts of creatures.

"You're probably right, still. He had a weird a** aurora thing to him." Niflhel couldn't deny that, that corrupted senshi was pretty freaky with his senshi, negaverse feeling deal.
Niflhel could make out the silhouette of the monster now. Oh great, it looks like some freaky lizard that was at least ten times it's normal size. Niflhel grabbed his chain if he'd looked back at ********* he wouldn't blame her for fluffing up. From what he could tell the thing was pretty ugly.
"Not how I wanted to spend my evening." The page muttered as he waited for it to come a bit closer before lashing his chain out at the monster.
There was an audible hiss from the monster as it realized the powered pair wasn't about to make this easy for him. That was okay, he'd steal their starseeds and then get the food. The chain latched around the monster's jaws, which seemed to agitate him more. As he tried to break free of the temporary restraints.

The cat hopped off of the bench and sized the youma up. Right now, with the jaws clamped shut like it was a baby alligator, would have been the perfect time for her to strike. However, she'd need a good shot.
"I highly doubt that this is the way anybody would really want to spend their evening." With that, the cat trotted alongside the youma, which was now giving her a rather wild look. It strained against the chain holding it back, but momentarily was unable to break free. She continued along until she found what seemed like the lowest point on the youma. It was somewhere about its midback that its body seemed to droop slightly more.
"One, two, three!" On three, the cat popped up into the air and landed on the youma's back.
"Niflhel, keep it restrained as long as you can!" she called back to the boy before seeming to carefully try to make her way to the front of the youma. The manx already knew it wasn't going to be an easy task.

Niflhel nodded, as he struggled with the monster, it was starting to get annoying. He managed to grab a small stick to shove in between the rings of the chain to keep it from unraveling, he watched as the cat hopped up onto the baby alligator like lizard youma.
He seemed slightly surprised the manx could do that, it was almost like a little toy jumping. "Interesting...." He was musing for a second and the gator tried to yank away his chain. "Hoo, no boy." He tightened his grip warping the chain once around his own arm. Maybe not the best move but it'd help with leverage. The monster was pulling back and Niflhel had to walk a little with it. "This ain't gunna be easy feels like he got a strong head."
He was trying to keep the chain from unwrapping when he stepped with it. "Know anyone with ducttape?" He joked giving nervous chuckle.

With each jerking, yanking motion the youma made, it was another obstacle for the cat, who had to pause in her steps and crouch down against the creature in an effort to keep her balance. It was hard to make any progress in all honesty, but she did manage to make her way past the ridges along the mid-back and up towards the shoulders a bit. The youma squirmed fiercely, feeling the little paws pressed against it.
"Come now, I don't want to use my claws to keep hold..." It was almost as if she was trying to reason with the creature. Yet, reasoning was one of those things that a youma of this calibur lacked in. With a few more attempted bucks, the cat let out her claws, digging into the scales. There was an instant rebuttal in the form of some more struggling.
"Alas... I don't exactly keep duct tape on hand... sorry..."

Niflhel was struggling trying to keep from being dragged. "I feel like I should." He replied as the tug of war worsened when the manx dug her claws in.
"I think I could sit on it if we had ducttape though." He seemed to be halfway joking and halfway serious all at the same time. He gave the monster a yank towards him which seemed to get the picture of hold still through it's thick skin. "I hope they don't know how to death roll.." He muttered to himself having seen enough crocs on tv to know they actuallly do that.
"Whatever you're going to do, now might be your chance."

The youma was now thrashing about, which made it quite difficult to actually move much further. So Niflhel's choice of words were not very effective. "Unless you want to get injured, I can't do what I plan to unless I get to its head." The scales were thick and any attack the manx could attempt from here wouldn't do enough damage to end this. Point blank was the only way to make this work.
Eventually, she attempted to make her way forward again, but found that the youma began to almost buck the moment she seemed to be making any progress.
"THIIIIIIS SUUUUUUCKSSSSSS!!!" she yowled out.

"I got you." He stomped his foot on it's maw finally getting it pinned down, enough where maybe she could get to the front, as long as the tail didn't decide to do something stupid he thought.
He was ready to try to do something to stop the tail if it tried to use it's tail to knock ********* off.
The Youma hissed through the bits of it's mouth it could get open. Which wasn't much with the Knight's full weight on it's mouth and the the chain holding it shut. It's tail was flickering but it wasn't quite to the point of trying to tail whip anyone just yet.

Taking advantage of the momentary lack in movement from the shock of having its face stomped down, the cat managed to make it past the shoulders and to about the creature's neck before she had to stop due to movement again. She crouched down and held on tightly with her claws as the creature began to make itself like an earthquake under her paws.
This wasn't quite the place she wanted to hit with her Special Surprise. It was getting increasingly difficult to make it to that spot just along the creature's jaws.
If only Niflhel had done that to start things off, this could have been a lot easier.

Niflhel watched as the beast started quacking again he took his free foot, placing weight on the youma's snout to get a hold of the tail when it came. "I feel like we're playing twister." He muttered as the tail wrapped around his leg threatening to try to pull him down before he managed to get it under control as well for the time being.
The youma was getting slightly tired, all that thrashing around trying to get the knight to let go wasn't doing any good and he couldn't remove the furball either. There was another unhappy hiss as it looked up at the knight trying to figure out what to do. The odd ticking noise had stopped, once the tail was caught though.

"No, if anyone is playing Twister, it would be you!"
The creature beneath her, despite its struggles, seemed to be losing that energy that it had been using to try and fight back. If was a time that was good for striking, that time would be now! As quickly as her little legs could carry her, she made a quick dash up the youma's head and across its snout slightly, just in front of where the boy's foot was standing.
"It's time for ********* Special Surprise!" Despite how happy her voice sounded as she called this out, she had a nearly serious expression on her face as she looked the youma in the eye.
If Niflhel looked at the star upon her forehead, for a moment it almost seemed to twinkle. Or rather, it began to glow. Rather suddenly, what seemed like a burst of energy seemed to explode from the cat's forehead, all of the energy aimed directly at the spot between the youma's eyes. Had it been a stronger youma, it might have stood a chance of surviving a point-blank shot from the guardian.

Niflhel tried not to laugh, "I'm sorry, but dang it I ain't use to trying to bear wrestle an alligator-youma." He said with a frown, that was until until the cat ran up to the monster's head and almost at his foot. He paused waited for a second and when he was sure the darn thing wouldn't move he moved his foot. Like heck he was having that taken off 'cause of some attack.
He started coughing slightly when the youma busted into dust. He'd worn it down pretty quickly, it was just actually making it poof that was the problem. "Now that... was a surprise." He said looking amused at the cat picking her from the dust that swirled.
"Can all cats do that?" He walked back over to his box of donuts and sat ********* down beside of the one she hadn't finished.

Airborne kitty! At least for a few seconds before she was pushed up against the boy's chest without any complaints.
To rather honestly answer his question, she simply asked him a question back: "Can all cats talk?" She smiled and couldn't help but let out another one of her giggles.

Niflhel paused, looking at ********* before laughing, "Only magical kitties, like you and Zirconia then." He seemed content with that, "I think it's safe to finish you're donut now." He added as he contently sat back on the bench humming.
"Thank you for helping me, I'm still sorta getting use to wrangling youma... considering I was told the whole time as a civilian not to help." He was laughing, "I made a good distraction." He added with a nod.

DONUT
Her attention was lost for a moment as she was set back down next to her partially finished treat. The boy's words honestly went in one pointy ear and went out the other one, because there was a delicious treat in her mouth. The manx couldn't help but purr loudly and had a smile that couldn't be rivaled. If she had heard his words, she would have given him an answer, but her smiles were answer enough.
