Tay lay still and panting for another few seconds, still working on overcoming her anxiety, even though she had already done the scary thing. The tip of her pink tongue showed between her front teeth. It was a little embarrassing, but some things just couldn't be controlled. In hindsight, she guessed she ought to consider herself fortunate she hadn't done something worse.

She grinned though when she saw Khaldun's grin, small though it was. He didn't have to be grumpy all the time. She didn't point it out to him though. Probably he would have frowned just so he wouldn't be smiling any more out of pure orneriness. Tay would rather see him grin as he was doing now, unremarked upon but genuine.

"Thanks for your help," Tay said. She was pretty close to forgetting whose fault it was she'd been up there, too. She wasn't one to hold a grudge, Tay. Holding grudges made no friends for a person, and Tay would rather have friends than grudges.

"I should probably go home, too. I bet it's dinner time by now," Tay said. "Goodbye!"
