"Chevvy Impala... hmmm..." Since again, she knew near nothing about cars, it would seem as if ********* would have to ask Ellie about this sort of car. There were many questions to be had about such a vehicle. Was it a safe car? A fast car? Was it work a lot of money? The mention of this vehicle being new and not looking like it only reminded her how Ellie would have enjoyed working on something like this. She'd probably paint the car the brightest yellow color too if she had the choice.
The manx, however, soon enough found herself all by herself outside of the car as Zirconia placed a random idea out there. It wouldn't have seemed like a big idea if it weren't for the fact that ********* was now stranded outside of the vehicle. She still hadn't permission to go to the top of the car, and the window was too far away for her to follow suit. So instead, ********* smooshed her face against the window and looked in at the other cat now in the driver's seat.
"We could probably go somewhere without the car too..."

Both sets of memories in Zirconia's fluffy little head were lost on the car's descriptions. Zia wasn't really a 'car' person, she had just ended up with the silver sedan because it's price was a drop in the bucket compared to her father's budget for his various luxury cars he kept as a hobby. It was unremarkable, reliable enough for her purposes, and when and if her questionable driving habits ended up beating it up, he wouldn't be too devastated.
Zia was just happy it had bluetooth.
"I guess we could!" Zirconia replied back as if that had just occurred to her, peeking over the dash to give ********* face against the glass a funny look.
Movement in the corner of her eye caught her attention and she jumped to perch her two front paws on the open window, and try her hardest to stay up with her back feet shifting on the steering wheel in some awkward stretch. There was another cat approaching, but after deciding it obviously wasn't a mooncat, Zirconia tried waving him away like she would a human. "No, you go away. This is mine," She announced. ********* could sit on it, but no strays allowed. Especially no stupid stray Earth cats who couldn't even talk.
Her continuing attempt to both balance and flail finally ended when one of her feet slipped and ended up pressing against the horn in a frantic attempt to regain some footing. At the loud noise, she puffed up, jumped about a foot in the air, and then ducked behind the door, like she forgot that sound comes from the car for a second.

The manx's face was seemingly stuck to the glass for the moment as she watched Zirconia move about. Alas, she didn't see the other cat approaching, but was barely able to make out the sounds of the other guardian's voice shooing whatever it was away.
Once thing most certainly got ********* off of that windshield quickly, and it had nothing to do with food (which was amazing in itself). Out of seemingly nowhere, a god awful loud noise sounded off. Little triangular ears pinned themselves immediately against her skull, and with a little bit of a suctiony sound, ********* face pulled itself away from the glass. Her fur poofed up too, making her already round appearance seem even rounder for the amount of time that horn blared.
"OH MY GOD MAKE IT STOP!!!"
Her words were a bit off when it came to timing, for the moment she shouted that out, the horn had already stopped.

There was an awkward, silent pause between ********* yelling and when Zirconia finally got brave enough to peek over the dash again. Part of it was still being rattled. Another part was that she was rather embarrassed it had made her poof up into looking like a massive cotton swab.
"Human technology is awful," She hissed in a quiet whisper. Who would invent such a stupid, stupid contraption?

The sound had stopped. Cautiously, the manx's ears perked up and she began to pad to the windshield again. Her fur remained puffed up for a bit, but relatively quickly it calmed down back to her usual appearance.
"Goodness, I don't think I've ever been this close to a car when the horn went off." She chuckled a bit before attempting to wave at the other cat inside. "I mean, I've encountered many cars honking their horns on the road when I am patrolling the town, but that was just plain painful!"

"Technology is stupid," Zirconia huffed, randomly pawing at some buttons on the console and then tumbling back out. Needless to say, she didn't have that same affinity for technology White Moon 'verse Mauvians did.
"*********," She said, a random thought, scuttling back up, or tying to. She tried to bounce up from the tire and ended up bouncing right back to the sidewalk. But landing on your feet made it look like you meant to do that, right?
"Last time we met and you in Ze--... my house. You said I was like Sue. Who is Sue?"

********* creeped to the edge of the car, just so she could look overboard to see Zirconia's efforts. That, and the fact that the other cat seemed to have some sort of question or prompt for the manx. It was only polite to look the other cat in the eye as she was speaking to her.
Though it was slightly harder to explain who Sue was, ********* didn't hesitate in the slightest to explain the similarities. "Both you and Sue are cats who can change into full humans. I couldn't do that if my life depended on it in all honesty. Probably quite a bit more convenient than being stuck as a cat 90% of the time." ********* let out a good natured laugh. Despite all the envy she could have been assumed to have, there was no malice in her tone. She was just simply making conversation.

Zirconia frowned a tight, little annoyed frown. She was originally asking because she was curious about a usurper. Another foreign court from another foreign universe injecting souls in people, but this three forms things was definitely something to be thought about.
Or, it was really something Zia wanted to think about. She knew it was weird, but still. Trying to talk about it with Chris just had him rant about how mooncats are parasites.
Zee took her own human form and leaned her elbows on the hood of the car, reaching out to tentatively scratch ********* behind the ear. "I wasn't always a cat," She admitted. "But... you were? Right?" Like Zirconia back in her world. "From Mau?"
She had vague memories of Mau. Probably nothing like the White Moon Mau and just very faded, old memories. Zirconia left the planet at such a young age, even the cat herself didn't have the clearest picture of the Black Moon's version of the place.

********* green eyes followed the other cat, and eventually followed as she suddenly seemed to grow from cat to person within the blink of an eye. However, Zirconia's transformation was quite different from her own. Zirconia could make her cat ears and tail vanish completely. The manx did have things a little easier since she was lacking in the tail department and she could easily hide her ears underneath her hat, but the fact still remained that she leaked energy like a running faucet. There was no hiding something so obvious.
"That would be a good reason why you can do such a trick." Rather easily, she leaned into the scratches behind her ear, guiding the other's fingers into the best spots possible.
"And yes... always been a cat, no lying there! From Mau, yes, yes... even if I can't remember any of it worth a lick!" She chuckled a bit before seeming to melt into some good ol' fashioned purring. "Oh yeah, that's the spot!" she cooed out.

"Hm..." Zia mumbled with a wistful sigh as she kept on scratching *********. "I remember Zirconia's Mau a little..." It was like remembering the one time when she was five, it was so hard to get a good grip on the sequence of events and what was real and what was filtered through nostalgia.
"But everything's so different there, it's probably not the same," She admitted. There was a definite little note of sadness in that statement, given it just reminded her that here was not the Black Moon. It was hard enough to be homesick, but somehow knowing it wasn't really her home she had these feelings for just multiplied the confusing and depressing nature of it all.
It was easy to forget, though, with ********* outright being adorable. "What do you look like?" she asked, since now she was on this whole harping on Mauvians and their mysteries thing. "I mean, like... you have a human form with ears and a tail, right?"

Zia should have chosen her words a little better. The cat rather quickly pulled away from all of the lovely scratchings and turned so her rump was facing the girl.
"I've never had a tail... so I don't think I'd have a tail all of a sudden in that other form." She wiggled her rumpy-rump at the girl before returning to the girl's hand for more kitty-scratches.
With a giggle, she answered simply at first. "I look like me!"
With a few more giggles, she then addressed the question a bit more seriously. "I'd show you if I didn't draw attention to myself... but I look like a girl. And I have a hat. And my hair is basically the same color as my fur, just no spots." Perhaps the explanation was vague, but did the manx really need to sit there and talk hours upon hours about how cute her outfit was and how it was the best thing in the world? Probably not.

"Oh!" Zia laughed and gave her forehead a light smack at her blunder. "That's right, silly me," She said lightly.
She nodded a little at ********* description. Zirconia's hair was the same color as her fur too, so she started filing that away as something that was probably true of all guardian cats. Even though she suspected her own hair color had some bearing on Zirc's appearance.
She was perfectly happy to sit here and cuddle ********* and think about these mysterious cat things.
But as relaxing as that was, she eventually had to make it home tonight.
"I should probably get back... Dad's going to interrogate me if I shuffle in too late," Zia said, making a mental note of how pathetic it was that she was turning twenty-three this year and her dad still through a fit if she was out late for any reason other than work. "Is there anywhere I can drop you off?"
Neither of her personalities could get over ********* being a stray. Between Zia's human perception and Zirconia's long history of being spoiled on royal pillows, it was not a concept their mutual brain could wrap around.

The cat didn't seem to have any place in particular in mind, for she said "Just set me on the ground, my dear." However, she managed to clear up her perspective rather quickly with a secondary comment. "What good is it for me to have legs if I didn't use them, right?"
