Anya gave one of her small smiles and chuffed. "I guess she likes you. Well, she might as well stay here. Poor thing being abandoned and all. Did you find any food on your hunt?" She asked slowly letting herself down upon her haunches. The female was itching for a hunt, and the excitement seemed to course through her liger veins. She wondered which side it was.

Akintunde shook his head. "I stopped my hunt when I found Jalara." He sensed her eagerness and smiled again. "Go ahead and hunt, I'll stay and babysit. If any hyena's attack you, get back here right away."

The lioness gave a low growl. "Why would a hyena attack me? But alright, I'll come straight back." The liger did hate listening to other people when they were telling her what to do, but she was in a pride, and she had to listen to what they said. Trotting slowly out into the grasses, she picked up the scent of a roaming herd. It seemed to be gazelle and some zebra. Slowly walking toward the source, she got downwind of the animals and crouched low picking out her next target.

Kichea padded into the territory, vaguely aware that she might be intruding. "Akin?" She called timidly, again, strange for her personality.

Akin perked up, nosing the cub into the cave. She was sleeping so he could leave for a little bit. He wouldn't go too far away though.
Stopping not too far away from the cave, he let loose a roar to welcome the visitor.

The female had just come back from a good day of hunting. Even though the prey seemed to be fast, Anya managed to catch up with a wounded gazelle. It was fat enough for the whole pride. Dragging it across the sand slightly, she noticed another lioness near the territory. Anya began to wonder if this was the female Akin was talking about. She shrugged, seeing as she would find out more in a little while. She managed to get back to the cave when the King let out his roar. Dropping the food, she walked to the river to clean her fur as well as wait for Akin to have first bite of the meal.

A small ball of fur rolled and kicked behind a rock by the caves. A little cry and yelp would come from that area once in a while which was from a small abandoned cub. The little golden cub squirmed moved around trying to walk, as she walked she would wobble and sometimes fall over. But she kept going till she had gotten herself out from outside into the cave.

Kichea heard Akin's roar and a broad smile formed on her face. "Good Day to you." She said kindly as she approached him.

Akin smiled back, meeting his black lioness with a caress of the muzzle and a loud purr. "You've come..."

"I haven't seen him..." She confessed, lowering her gaze to the earthen floor. "I'm a little scared to go back... what if he forbids me to see you again?" She knew she sounded childish, but she didn't want to be without Akin...

"I will deal with him, Kichea." He purred, trying to reassure her. The copper scent of blood filled his nostrils and he turned his head back to the caves. "Come, I smell food, you must be hungry."

Anya was about to go back to the others when she heard a cry. Twitching her ears, she followed it until she found a cub. Anya gave a little smile and nudged the ball of fur with her nose. Picking her up by the scruff, Anya carried over over near to the meat, but did not set her down. She waited until Akintunde and his mate were done with their fill. The lioness settled on her haunches; cub still in her maw.

Kichea nodded. "I am hungry... though... I fear I must tell you something first..." She wondered what he would think of her... "Akin... I think... I'm bearing kits..." She sputtered, her eyes focused on the earth.
