Ari wasted no time in scooping up the fallen henshin pen. Her breath shuddered out of her as her fingers closed around the familiar-yet-not feel of someone else's pen. It was done. Fallon wouldn't be transforming into Ares to give them more trouble, and her sentence would be served whether she liked it or not.
Eyes narrowed at the language spewing forth from the furious Fallon. There was a touch of hurt quickly hidden away beneath a faint pulse of pity. For all that Ari felt the same way about needing to be Birhan, she would have survived a few weeks without. Ariana Knight had a life, even if it wasn't nearly as exciting as Sailor Birhan Isat's. Fallon, it seemed, had poured everything into being Ares.
"We can do this, and we are," she said, harshly. "You may have created the Blood Moon Court and you may have helped us become who we are today, but don't rule us. You made a Court where everyone would get punished equally - it's time to live with it."
Pocketing the pen, Ari told the other senshi, "It's done." No need to continue the hold on Fallon, unless she tried to attack them again. Hopefully Fallon wouldn't try, would realise she was at a disadvantage now that everyone else was, or could become, a senshi except for herself.
With that, Ari turned her back and began walking away. It hurt to do so (and she was more than a little paranoid about having a screaming Fallon at her unprotected back), but this was what was best for the BMC. It was even what was best for Fallon, if the other girl learned the lesson here.
The BMC was not going to be anyone's personal army of minions. Leaders could be punished and would be held to the same rules as everyone else. It was time for the BMC, and for Ares, to hold true to promises made.

No matter how hard she tugged or pulled or swore or cursed, Fallon could not win. She stood before three of the most promising senshi she had met in ages. These three women had shown her that the White Moon could have strength and power in the echelon of the Black Moon. It was the first time she had thought this. First with Gunn, then with Birhan, and then with Scylla. There had been others, so many of them within the Blood Moon Court -- and now what happened? Had she changed? No, no, she thought, never me.
When her fellow Inner Sanctum senshi bent to touch her pen, Fallon shuddered visibly. It was like watching her heart fall out of her chest and then having a stranger pick it up and walk away. The pieces of her sanity were stretched thin, pulled tighter and tighter with each step that Ariana made.
Then it snapped. Fallon let out a broken wail, the final cry of a dying animal. Her body lurched forward, sagging to the filthy ground. Her tears flowed openly, and the teenager began to crawl futilely after her pen, after her soul as it flickered out of sight. The state she was in was something only Ouranos had seen before, back on the Black Moon.
There could be no victory for Fallon tonight. Her heels were scattered away from her. The hem of her dress was torn. Her hair had been mussed. With a shuddering sob, the former captain of the Blood Moon Court rose back up on her civilian feet. "There will be n-no forgiveness," she said, emotion breaking her voice. It lacked authority, power, and pride. Just like her. Just like the civilian she had been reduced to for a month -- one month. It might have well of been eternity. A death sentence.
Civilian, weak, useless, nothing -- and sobbing, Fallon ran all the way home.
