"Oh.. yeah.. wow I didn't know you broke it then jeez! That was... the start of all the unpleasant s**t on that island. But that Hell-O... maaaaan," Bul licked his lips as he replied to the Djinn. "Seiji? Haven't seen him yet but he better show up or I'm gonna beat him with a paintball gun hilt," he teased then pulled out his yellphone and sent the hungry ghost a text.
"So do you plan on playing any?" he asked.

It was the day that the hell hound was waiting for. Paintball matches. Damien spent quite a bit of time prepping for the upcoming bout between the two clubs. Sadly he was just a tad bit behind schedule cuz he just woke up from his study session, trying to make the homework in the jar from human studies learn to be aggressive. His homework would win against Holly's. After feeding his minipets and done scolding Tsar for chewing on his chain belts again, he was out the door in a flash and off to the match area. He walked in and saw the faces he was familiar with and gave a wave to Jericho, Bul and Yaya. "Hey guys, hope I'm not late for the fun." He said cheerily before frantically going wide eyed and rummaged through his duffel bag. He didn't stop rifling through his stuff till he found the one item that would keep him safe. He had his cup. Oh yes, Damien was indeed ready.

Christof had left the carts in either tent, where anyone could pick through unsupervised- he had counted everything and taken inventory, so no one was going home with any piece of equipment or *he would know*. He almost hoped someone would try.
He was hobbling back to the Red Team's side, hefting a heavy orange plastic barrel of kruel-aid (he had mixed it himself with the help of the kitchen staff, and could attest to there being nothing but the packets of sugar mix and water. Even so, he would be hesitant to drink any of it himself. It was not purple, either.) and was positively huffing as he set it down a few feet from the Fitness Team Captain. He paused, panting, as Yaya's testimony of his attack on N.A.P. flitted out too soon and directly to Mistress.
His face went white. In patches.

Riley's eyes narrowed slightly at the new information, digesting it quietly. She could tell, upon looking at Christof, that he had withheld yet another little tidbit of violence from her knowing. What else could he be hiding under those innocent mis-matched eyes?
Then again, the attack had happened directly after they had fought.. and their recent conversation assured her that things would change between them.
It was yet to be seen if that would be the case or not.
She chose to ignore it, nodded swiftly and placing a gentle hand on Yaya's shoulder. Well, at least this game doesn't involve a lot of running. Should be easy for you to sneak around if you go slow. Might make you a little noisier, though. Head on over and tell Barth we're starting sign-ups for the first game, would you my dear?

"Yes, the Hell-O had be fabulous." She agreed, giggling softly. The boat trip, at least, had been pretty fun. It was those memories she tried to dwell on when thinking back to the field trip, and not that dreadful island. "I hadn't seen you after we all got thrown overboard, I was worried. You seem ok though."
As for playing? "Maybe, we'll see how everything works out. I did get the walking cast just for the occasion."
She might had said more, but Christof was wandering over, and the djinn couldn't help but regard the patchwork rather coldly. She was still bruised from his cold blooded attack. Hadn't he even cared that she was injured? The paling patches of stitched together flesh was actually rather satisfying.

Seiji wandered over to the group behind Hunchy and slid automatically over to Bul and Yaya, offering his knuckles to the half-beast for their signature bump. "Sorry I'm late, Bro."
He gave Yaya a found pat on the shoulder before moving off to gather up his own gear. He'd bought his own cup, and it was already in place.

Thankfully Christof was saved from Yaya's continued cold stare by Riley's hand on her shoulder drawing her attention back, and she grinned up at the mindflay before nodding. "Sure. See you on the battle field."
She waved to Bul and Seiji and limped away towards her home base.

JERICHO is signing up to play Game 1 for Fitness
Not that it could really be seen, but Jericho grinned as he felt that bit of affection and pride come from Riley. When he felt he was ready, he glanced up in time to see Yaya wave to him. He waved back in response, then looked around to see who else had showed up so far.
Demi certainly looked ready for the occasion.
The dragon also couldn't help but narrow his eyes at the sight of Christof. It would likely be best to just avoid the patchwork if possible for now. Instead, he just eyed the sign ups.

Shehk was totally ready to play, standing and practically giddy to get started playing, though a quick glance about said she wasn't the only one no matter how rabidly her tail was wagging. Good thing her muscles were still mostly intact or her tail might have just wagged itself off of her spine and away into the distance.
D'oh!
"Give me some armor and a gun, I'm totally ready to take names." she grinned.

Barth was nervously avoiding most of his fellow club members. If Riley had sent him a memo about equipment, he hadn't got it.
All he had done was vaguely agree to the match. He had, for lack of a better term, made the bed and was now his entire club was going to have to sleep in it. He had hoped being President involved more figure-head type duties. Stamping things, making occasional suggestions, and so forth. N.A.P. was activity-avoidant by nature. ...But here they were, under-equipped, ill-trained, and...well, armed, at least. So there was that.
"Everything alright over there?" he asked his bravely limping Vice President, back from what he assumed was a covert scouting mission of enemy territory.

There he was!
Yaya marched.. Well limped, right over to Barth and wasted no time in poking a finger into his chest. "Peachy. Barth, where is our equipment?" Obviously it wasn't here, but she'd really like to know why.
She didn't lose her temper often, but she was sure close to it now. West would be terribly jealous if he ever found out that sloth had managed to get a raise out of her.

Damien was bouncing on the soles of his paws, itching to start. noticing that Jericho, Seiji and Shehk (who he never really talked to outside of Groanspring oddly enough) were right up there with him, the ghouls tail was batting away just as feverishly as his own.
"guess I better suit up huh?" he said, grabbing a snazzy piece of armor and his gun. sweet new digs, armor vs pillows? He felt kinda bad for NAP, 300 thread count pillows don't mean much against paintballs.

"In the Equipment Cart?" he squeaked. "Sort of. I'm not sure what these pillow-things are, exactly, although I get the distinct feeling we're being mocked. Christof's supposed to be in charge of the err, ah," he hesitated. The words he was looking for was Equipment Management stuff, but the fact was that Christof didn't have any obligations to him in that vein, not any more, while Riley still had full Contractual rights to his comings, goings, and fetchings.
"...I think we might have been the victims of some very light sabotage."
