"Ah---The sobbing. It generally means...leaking?" He tried to explain helplessly, letting go of the girl and stepping back. "You are fine. Please calm down. I did not mean to, ah..." What was that word. "Upset? You." That was it, wasn't it? He tried so Jacking hard with this language.
Now that he was no longer having physical contact he looked a little lost on where to go next. Should he ask his question again? Wait for her to calm down? Let her continue to carry on?
"What did you mean when you said make your own?" Curiosity won out. Definitely.

"I...I'm not...?" Amrita hiccuped, stopping her frantic search of her (borrowed) person to stare up at Aurel. She certainly looked upset, but there were no tears...or that weird black substance. She wiped her eyes as a reflex, and then her ripped sari...but it was just something to make her waste time. She had heard his question, but she wasn't sure how to respond; shouldn't he know all this? Why was he asking her?! Aaaaaa~~~~
"W-well, we need to scare Humans, right? To make FEAR...b-but I'm not scary enough..." Awkwardly rolling her shoulders, she fidgeted her backwards hands in front of her. She was looking less upset, but she definitely was starting to stare at him like he had grown a second head that was making faces at her.

"Well, yes. Scaring humans - they are ungrateful destructive terrible monsters." - Direct quote there from his Elder, Ma'am! "...But I do not know how you'd...make...fear? Do you mean the feeling of fear?"
Though how Amrita thought she wasn't scary enough was beyond him. She was a skin-hanging-off zombie like creature with backward limbs and half a face - That was a hell of a lot scarier than things he'd encountered in the forest. "I think you are fairly scary, if that helps." Though not in attitude or personality. Not that you needed either of those to scare people, really. Right?

"Mmm..." Amrita continued to fidget, but her head rolled to the side, some of her black hair draping over her face. She was pondering how to answer the question, but it was hard - especially for her - to explain something that was common knowledge. "Umm...you make it by being...scary...?" It was common knowledge! "I thought...I thought everyone knew...?" How could he not?! Aaaaa she didn't know how to deal with this!
"Oh, I'm not scary...I'm too small and not complete..." She motioned to her face, and then to her chest, her voice remarkably sad again. "B-but...I'm trying to fix it."

Aurel seemed to, to his credit, try and wrap his brain around something. How could fear keep someone existing? Little did he know that it applied to himself as well. "Ah. I see." He didn't, but he didn't want to make Amrita more frustrated or confused. Sometimes being secluded had its distinct disadvantages. It seemed like looking like an idiot was pretty much the crowning glory.
Good thing that Aurel actually liked to learn!
"I think you are quite a bit scary, dievĨatko. Small creatures with twisted feet and hands and half a face is not something that one generally would see, I am assuming."

Amrita sighed in relief when he seemed to get it, blissfully unaware that he had basically lied to her to protect her own sanity. If she had known, she might have thanked him, but probably still beat him with the book she had been reading anyway. It was that frustrating! And she thought SHE was a little slow! Okay, perhaps she wouldn't beat him, but she'd still try to teach him one way or another!
"My name is Amrita." She corrected in a reminding tone just after he called her dievĨatkoA big gray eye stared up at the boil with the moss hair as he insisted she was scary and why. Her lips drew into a thin line and she looked down at her twisted wrists, her reversed hands and, just past that, her heels with her toes wiggling behind her. Hm. She didn't see these often, no. The very things she was nervous about being not scary were the things that were scary to Aurel? HMMM Maybe she was doing this all wrong? Nobody really commented on her being scary or unnerving (well, her hands and feet garnered quite a bit of OMG WHAT), so she wasn't sure how much stock to put into his words.
"...W-would I still be scary if I was normal sized and a patchwork...?" It was a serious question, one she approached nervously.
