And there came the chain.
His first idea was to try to catch it and use it at his advantage, but he dismissed that split-second idea. The page looked stronger than he was, at least physically, and this would probably not end in his favor.
Instead, Alunite threw himself back - basically cartwheeling backward and landing back on his feet a few steps away. Not graceful in the least - he was lacking the finesse of an experienced fighter, but it got the job done.
Now, though... Very well. If they were playing like this... "Umbra Eclipse !"
In his experience, people expected an actual attack. They prepped to dodge, which worked in his favor. 5 little seconds was all he needed...

Niflhel watched as the other cartwheeled himself backwards and landed a few feet away. Then blinked as the other called his attack, there were a few things he knew about senshi. Not all attacks were the same and getting the hell away from him was probably a good idea. He started jumping backwards away from the senshi, hoping the other wouldn't follow him.
Knowing how Polaris' worked and the fact the other said Eclipse brought the page on edge. It really wasn't worth chancing staying close to the other. He lashed out the chain again though aiming again at the other's foot hoping to pull it out from under him. "Hm.. Eclipse huh, must be your sphere." Distracting him would help right?

Indeed, every senshi attack was different.
Alunite, it turned out, was really different.
The chain clattered on the ground... Where Alunite was a mere second ago. The negaverse senshi had all but vanished into thin air. He was still here, though - his telltale energy signature was still present. But it was wider. It blanketed a much larger idea than before.
There was no way to say precisely where he might be, unless Nilhfel listened very, very closely.
Through there was no time to waste, now - for all the amazing of his magic, it was painfully short. Better make it count. So he made his way behind the page and slammed his elbow right in the small of his back as hard as he could manage, hoping to slam him hard in the wall.
A tried and (somewhat) true strategy, really. And he might have a window of escape if the other got dazed... There was clearly nothing else to try to gather here. He might be able to try his luck with another of these pages again later...

Yes Niflhel was sorely disappointed in the lack of a psychical attack, he was also very confused. The power signature was still there but yet... not. "Damnit are we playing hide and---- oof" He got struck in the back before he could finish.
He felt the wall as he managed to move his face from harms way. Not to mention he was dazed. Niflhel eventually ended up sitting on the ground shaking his head, muttering. "That little b*****d, just wait till I get my hands on him." He was trying to listen for the other hoping maybe he could catch him that way if the guy was hiding and hadn't run off by now.

And this was when Alunite exited stage left - or tried to, anyway. The hit was barely delivered that he was running off, jumping on a trash can and then up to the roof of the adjacent building. His power wouldn't last until he got out of range, so to speak, but hopefully he would get far enough away before it happened.
Alunite's aura returned to normal after he had jumped off the other side - but then he crossed that street and ducked into an alley. When a quick check revealed nothing out of the ordinary following him, he simply powered down, and took a moment to catch his breath.
Oh well. More luck later, maybe.
