The differences between the two girls were quite stark. Mitsu seemed a bit nervous or timid but Shun was expecting that sort of reaction, given how enthusiastic Lizzy was. Before he could say anything else, he paused as he suddenly found a fox right in his face.
Raising an eyebrow, he turned his head a bit to try and get a better look at Milo to try and see what he was doing. It seemed like he was sniffing around or something along those lines.
"We're on our way to town," he said, figuring Lizzy would end up asking them what was up or something like that. Might as well cut to the chase there.
Bouncing once more, Bent-Tail turned around towards Lizzy and waved to the girl. Another friend arriving! This was quite nice. Maybe the demon will be able to give him some more pettings later on as well. He certainly hoped this would be the case.

She kept smiling at the ghoul as she replied, wondering why she was speaking so slowly; nerves, maybe? Now that she was actually paying attention, she realized that Mitsu had a mask on, as well as... Fluffy ears and a fluffy tail. Her face lit up at this realization, and if not for the fact that she was distracted by a waving Bent-Tail, she might had asked if she could stroke her ears.
"Heyyy Bent-Tail~" She giggled, reaching out to pat the mouse on his head before giving the boafox a quick pat between its ears as well, "Made a new friend, I see!"
How adorable! Maybe the boafox belonged to Mitsu...? That would make sense!
"To town? Whatever for?" She asked, the fact that it was lunch time completely escaping her as she blinked, looking at Shun. For a moment, she wondered if the two could be more than just friends, and her eyes widened slightly as she tilted her head, frowning slightly, "Uh, I'm not... Disrupting anything, am I?"

Milo's ears gave a light twitch as Lizzy patted him, curious eyes turning from Shun to the girl. He seemed to sniff the air in her general direction trying to get a feel for her, his tail tapping against Shun's chest. Was he happy? Quite possibly but it was hard to tell.
The girl seemed friendly enough, it made Mitsu relax a little, though she was still fairly on guard. Something always happened when she let her guard down. Lizzy also seemed curious as to why they were going to town. It was an answer Mitsu was going to attempt to give until the girl asked another question.
The confusion wasn't apparently on her face since it couldn't be seen but the slight tilt of her head with one ear up and one ear down seemed to get the point across. She didn't understand what Lizzy meant by that. "Disrupting?"

And now here came the questions. Shun supposed it would be inevitable. He tensed for the moment as Lizzy reached to pat Bent-Tail but at least she hadn't done that to himself. The mouse was rather happy to receive the contact and was bouncing in place as a result.
"Just grabbing lunch," he said a little flatly before glancing between the two girls again. As with Mitsu, he was a little confused with the disrupting thing, but not quite as much. A lot of things he did could technically be 'disrupted' after all.
"Unless you intend on trying to purposely block our path or something like that... no, you aren't disrupting anything."

Noticing the position of Mitsu's ears, she giggled softly; the ghoul is adorable! Although it made her wonder why she would hide her face behind a mask... Perhaps she should ask her later; part of her was just worried it might be a sensitive question. 'May I please pat your ears?' sounded like a much acceptable question.
"Ohh," She looked relieved at their answers, then thoughtful for a moment, pausing before continuing, "Mind if I join in then?" The question was directed at both parties, of course; she wouldn't tag along if one of them was against it!

Lizzy seemed to be staring at her in a strange manner. It wasn't a face Mitsu was used to having directed at her. It was the same face people usually directed at Milo before they told him he was cute. Usually when people said she was cute it came with an air of pity along with it.
"Join? I...I don't mind." Mitsu nodded now fiddling with her skirt a bit. This was a lot more socializing than she normally did.

With his hands still in his pockets, Shun shrugged at Lizzy's next question. He could deal with smaller groups. However, he was slightly leery due to how questioning the demon girl seemed to be. Then again, maybe her questions would be directed more towards Mitsu as she had just met the girl.
This could work for him.
"If you'd like," he answered neutrally.

"Awesome!" She grinned before taking her place on the other side of Mitsu; she was curious about this ghoul... Then again, for her to be able to stand Shun (aka Mr Grumpy), she must be pretty nice! From the way she was acting, however, Lizzy figured that she might be shy or maybe uncomfortable around new people... Hopefully, that will pass with time.
"So, what were you guys planning to eat?"
Yes, more questions. Sorry, Shun.

The demon had a level of enthusiasm that Mitsu was unfamiliar with. When the girl took up a spot beside Mitsu, the wolf girl turned toward her curiously, her ears perking at the top of her head so that she could listen carefully to the conversation.
"W..we hadn't decided. Nether of us know what's around here," Mitsu admitted, her words only stuttering here and there.

Shun gave Lizzy a sort of blank stare before turning back towards the school-ground gates. He wasn't really accustomed to dealing with that level of enthusiasm either... namely because he had a tendency to avoid people in general.
"We were going to maul possibly," he said, "Or whatever we happened to run into. Just no chocolate."
It was a more roundabout way of him saying 'I don't really know where we're going either.' He was just not as willing to admit that flat out.
"Unless you have some suggestions?"

"I doubt anyone takes chocolate for lunch," She nodded before looking thoughtful, tapping her chin as she considered their options; the two of them are new to the school, so it would only make sense for them not to know where to eat... The maul is a good place, but a little out of the way if they wish to have lunch say, on a school day.
"Have you guys been to the school cafeteria?" She asked, smiling with a nod as she finally thought of a place that might be nice for them to get acquainted to, "They offer rather affordable set meals, although... Its best not to leave them out for too long." She smiled sheepishly at this.
In case they come to life or something, you know?

Mitsu looked a little leery. As far as she knew school lunches weren't all that great. Her last school they have been terrible. The cooks had the motto 'food never dies it just goes bad' and by bad they just meant it would fight back.
"I was going...to buy Shun lunch. Something nice." She explained shortly, her words coming out a little smoother but still stuttering here and there.
Feeling a little bored now Milo gave a stretch before sitting up on Shun's shoulder, his eyes glancing skyward to look at Bent. As soon as he spotted the little miced tea his tail began to wag again, tapping against Shun's chest. He wanted to play.

"Been there.. once," Shun mumbled. It wasn't the worse food he's ever had but he was hoping to get something better. Surely the town would have better things to offer as far as that went. If not... well then he had to feel a little bad for the denizens of the area.
"Might be best to explore some anyway," He added. Sooner or later he was probably going to need to go to town for one thing or another. It would be good to become familiar with the area.
Feeling movement below, Bent-Tail glanced at Milo and waved happily. With a few squeaks, he glanced between the fox, the wolf, and the spider, then ran around in a tight circle upon his head.

"In that case, there is this cafe in the maul that I feel serves nice food without the need to burn a hole through your wallet," She suggested with a tilt of her head; she wasn't sure why they didn't want to go to the cafeteria. Sure, the food there might come to live, and its not all that great, but... Alright, not going there for food is perfectly understandable.
"Its great for shopping for all sorts of things too," She added as an afterthought, guessing that might be one of the reasons why the reaper wanted to venture further out.
She couldn't help staring at the minipets as she said that.

Mitsu gave a nod though she really didn't care what Shun picked to eat. She would pay the bill since she had saved up enough cash to cover whatever he might like.
"T..that sounds okay if Shun wants that." Mitsu stated so that he didn't feel compelled to eat there if he didn't want to.
Milo got excited as soon as Bent started to spin. Mimicking the action the little boafox started to spin on Shun's shoulder his tail going all over the place.
