Alyssa hung what she washed on the line then continued once again washing the big load. She started to sing and as soon as she did the sun started to rise. That happened every morning but she figured it was just a coincidence. She didnt know anything about her powers.

After a long while she finally finished washing and drying the clothes. When she finished she put everything back in the basket and dragged it all the way back to the other side of the castle so she could fold and seperate them so they can be put in the royal family's rooms. She sighed taking a breath as she finally got there. She sat for a while taking a small break.

Arrow ran up to his room to Alyass's present. He then sat there and waited. He though 'what if she doesn't like it.' He began to feel nervous as far as he knew the only one who ever got her anything was her mother it was natural that he felt nervous.

Alyssa finished seperating and folding the clothes. She took them all to their rooms and put them away. The only one left was Arrow's room. She got there and smiled knocking on the door. She walked in. "Morning Arrow" she said and put his clothes away.

He smiled and said "Morning Alyassa. I have a present for you and happy birthday." He turned around and grabbed the small silver box that had been sitting on his bed. He then smiled and said "here I hope you like it."

Alyssa smiled turning to look at him. "Thanks Arrow but you didnt have to get me anything." she said. Even though they were best friends she always reminded herself of where her place was which is as his servant. "Really i'm not so special for you to get me anything" she said and opened the box amazed by what was inside.

Arrow looked at her smiled and said "Yes you are to me. I hope you like it I saw it when I was out one day and if you flip it over our names are on the back and it says 'always best friends or more.'" He then made a move to get the neckless and put it on her.

Alyssa smiled. "Arrow its beautiful" she said and moved her hair so she could put it on her. As she did something hit her. "More?" she asked as she turned to look at him.

Arrow blushed slightly but being behind her at the moment she could see it. He nodded and said "yeah more you know not less not same as."

"I know what more means b-but you want to be more then f-friends?" she said blushing glad he couldnt see it. She loved Arrow but knew he deserved someone way better like an actual princess.

Arrow's blush grew darker and he whispered "Yeah...I don't need a real princess you are my princess and that's all that matter's to me."

Alyssa blushed darker. "Arrow thats very sweet but your parents would never allow it besides you really do deserve better then a servant." she said although she hated almost every word she just said.

Arrow grabbed her shoulder spun her around and kissed her. Not only was he proving that he loved her but also that he didn't care what his parents thought he never had really.

Alyssa blushed when he kissed her. She was shocked but relaxed into the kiss kissing him back.
