He smirks, and gives a snicker, "No.. no it's not.." he flicks his tail sharply, sneering slightly, "How would you know..? You don't know me.."
His hand idly drifts to a cut on his arm that he'd recently earned from a fight, that he'd also licked to heal. A scab was forming, "Like I'd want to... you look like an idiot doing that.."

"I suppose I couldn't expect anyone to have a sense of culture here, either." Mint's posture relaxed now, too. The guy was scruffy and beat up, but he didn't look like he was going to attack any time soon.
He hoped he wouldn't end up looking...feral. He was still adjusting to the ears and tail thing, but the color looked good on him, and they felt like...attractive costume accessories more than anything else. The last thing he wanted to turn into was a blue, rabid raccoon.
Still, if the other guy had been here for a while...
"Here, if we aren't going to have it out, could you tell me where the Rooms are? They mentioned them at sign-in but I haven't been able to find anything even approaching a bed."

Tch.. Culture? Try spending your life on the streets. You'll get plenty of culture there...
Simply rolling his eyes and licking at a cut on his knuckles, the pooch flicked his tail laxly, seemingly calm for the time being now. This kid was no threat...
At the prospect of rooms, the rebellious teen can only give a light scoff. Bed? Room? He'd sought out neither and stayed in the confines of the courtyard his short time in being here. So he replied with a careless shrug, "No clue. I don't sleep in doors."

"Is that why you're all," Mint gestured to Roekan, "...cut up?"
If sleeping out here in the middle of bushes and nature did that, Mint was just going to dismiss that option entirely. Not that the hallways were any cleaner. Inside there was glass, blood, and grime to an appalling degree. Maybe this guy wasn't going to hurt him, but he disappointed this guy wasn't going to be able to help him any either.

He shakes his head and smirks, "Nah.. this is from fightin`..." he replies. Sleeping outside had nothing to do with his wounds. In fact, he'd probably have more if he did sleep inside. He didn't know anyone, and didn't want to room with anyone... and he'd gotten in plenty of fights the few days he'd been here. It wasn't likely he'd start going inside for good anytime soon. Only for food, really.

"Fighting who, anyone still out here?" Mint asked, looking around like someone might jump out of the bushes any minute now.
Mr. Not-a-leopard wasn't so bad, he guessed, if they had been able to talk themselves out of a fight (although he thought he had probably intimidated him). Still, all he could picture was a bunch of bigger, tougher, snarly things that treated the guy in front of him like small time. And maybe he was small time. He was only the first (inmate, patient?) Mint had met here.
Mint was not overly familiar with navigating social hierarchies. That had always been his agent's job.

Rolling his eyes, he gave Mint a dull look, "Are your ears really that useless..?" he asks irritably. "No.. it's just the two of us out here... and some bugs.." he mutters in response. God was this guy daft or what? His good looks really didn't do all that much for him.
Shifting his weight, he eyes Mint a little before looking off, "Why don't you just wander around and find `um, or something.." he mumbles with a tail flick.
