₳thena pulled her key out and unlocked the door. She walked in and shut the door behind her. She laughed for the kid wasn't joking about the whole in the wall. She went to the made bed and placed her bag on it. She opened it and pulled things out. like two sets of clothes one for sleeping, the other for working out. Her tolietries were pulled out and put in the bathroom. She then pulled a box out with a crest on it. She opened it and she put her choker,bracelets, and rings in it. She set it on the table by her bed. She placed the work out clothes on there as well. Then she looked at the Gene-X package. She pulled it out and there was a red like liquid on it with a number inscribed on the needle. She sighed and took the night clothes with her and the needle with her. She went into the bathroom and locked the door. She showered to was off the blood and other things from the day. After awhile she got out and pulled on her black tank top and her jack skellington pajama bottoms. The water from her hair dripped onto the floor. She picked up the needle and looked at it. She then shook her head no. She wasn't ready to take it yet. She walked into the room and put the vial back into the case it came it. She put the case on the table with every thing else. She climbed into the bed and she immeaditly crashed after not sleeping for awhile.

₳thena shot straight up breathing heavily. She had that dream that haunted her for almost the past two years. Well it was more like a memory. The day she came home to find her entire family dead on the floor,blood everywhere and well the day she got branded. She sighed deeply and looked over to find Jon still sleeping. She leaned over to the bed to the table. Her pale legs now exposed since she kicked her pants off in the middle of the night and grabbed the Gene-X injection again. She opened the case as she sat back against her pillow. She looked at it and sighed softly. She then closed the case and then put it back on the table. She got out of bed quietly with out her pants on and walked into the bathroom. A few moments later, she came out the bathroom her eyes now red due to her colored contacts. She looked over at that table at that package. It was really beginning to haunt her. It was like the damn thing was telling her to take it. She threw on her pajama pants which had Jack skellington all over them. She sat on the bed and placed the case in her lap. She picked up the needle and looked at it. She whispered to herself,"What is the big deal about you hmmm? I guess I better find out soon..." She placed it back in the case. She left it on her bed. She then looked at her sleeping roomate and decided he been sleeping long enough. She picked up her boot on the floor and threw it at him to wake him up. "Rise and shine Ninja Turtle we're going to miss breakfast and I need some ******** coffee before I kill some random a*****e."

Hunter took a quick scan of the room before answering her question. "Anywhere you can put needles in to is good, my went right here." He pointed to a vein in his neck, he didn't know why they decided that'd be a good place to stab him with a gene-altering substance, but it worked out just fine. Hunter sat next to her and examined the Gene-X, it was red...and judging from the numbers and letters on the vial he could deduce it was Bloody Razor.

"They knew it wouldn't kill me." Was his reply, he nodded and wouldn't inject the Gene-X for her as she'd suggested, it was probably for the best. He took the needle from her and pushed her skirt up a short ways . "It won't hurt." He told her before quickly injecting all of the fluid in to her, now that the tough part for her was over he wondered how she would fare...well, he hoped. "Do you feel okay?"

"It actually varies...sometimes it's instant, sometimes it's minutes, and in the most extreme cases, hours before it kicks in." Hunter said, remembering what he was told. "You may get light-headed, develop a fever or nausea...and once again, in very rare cases you'll go blind momentarily. It should only last three days." Hunter said, if it lasted longer than three then there was something wrong. He wrapped his arm around her shoulders, but stopped speaking...he didn't know if she wanted him to remain here or not.

"I am kind of cold considering the campus is frozen..." Hunter said, at least he had a scarf...no matter how tattered it may be. "My side effects? Temporary blindness...severe pain and dizzyness, and I forget the rest, i didn't have too many." Even though he didn't have a lot what he dealt with had been painful enough to keep him from even thinking about moving until it was over, hopefully it wouldn't be the same for her.
