Around him Bul could feel the world rumbling. He'd received just what he'd been asking for, a nice sock to the face. With the punch his lip split open and blood oozed out slowly. Licking his lips now Bul rolled his shoulders and regained his footing. "Damn son..."
"It's about time you hit me!" he beamed then rushed forth to strike. Once more he overthrew his punch and stumbled forwards. Maybe that hit from West was so hard it warped his vision?

All right, who was failing now? West tried to take the opportunity that Bul's miss presented and threw another strong punch... completely missing his target as well.
"There s'obviously somethin' wrong withis ring," he muttered, glancing down at the ground and licking his lips. He still tasted blood, but even after the initial shock of the other boil's fist meeting his face he felt fine. It was as if some particularly deviant poltergeist was in here knocking their punches off target or something. He rolled his eyes and hopped closer to Bul. Even if he had to be knocked unconscious, this fight was going to end sooner rather than later.

"I dunno, maybe.." Bul said then looked down momentarily to tap his foot on it as if expecting it to rumble in response. When it didn't though, the boil shrugged and smacked the demon in the arm.
"Seems like it's just you," he grinned, though lifted his arms up to guard his face knowing the remark would be regretted.

West chuckled, the sound surprisingly genuine, and flung his right fist wide, trying to get as much momentum behind it as he could before it connected. Since Bul was guarding his face, the demon aimed elsewhere. Anything squishy would do.
He let out a laugh that sounded more like a bark as his punch connected. "Nuh uh," he replied eloquently.

"Oof!" Bul winced when his side took a nice painful hit. In a desperate flail to hit West back though, the boil missed the demon completely again, stumbling enough to hit the ring's surface.
"..gah... s**t... getting disoriented here.." he grumbled and wiped the blood from his lip when he'd been hit earlier.

It wasn't clear whether West let up a bit out of pity, but to be honest, that was probably unlikely. His next punch was feather light, but he took some pride that it had hit at all, considering how winded he was getting. At least his morning jogs had noticeably increased his endurance or he would have vowed to give them up at that moment.

With a moment to breathe Bul was able to reorient himself with his footing. The light hit from West was painful all on its own given the state he was falling into.
"Man you... got rocks for knuckles or something?" he asked, and cracked his own. "GAah!" Rolling his shoulder back he swung at West's chest and darted sideways of the demon.

"Nah, man, I'm jus'that awes... ugffl!" He had bobbed and weaved right into Bul's fist that time. This trash talking thing really wasn't his forte.
"Shuttup'n... fight!" he said, punctuating his last word with a complete failure of a punch.

"Heh heh heh-" Bul laughed when he made contact with the other boil then whirled back when the other tried to hit.
Of course when West told him to shut up he did but let his toothy grin do the talking as he punched again just under West's chin.

West stayed silent as he took the hit, his anger over everything from his flagging energy to being hit at all in the first place suddenly threatening to overwhelm him. He took a deep breath through his mouth, nearly coughing as he inhaled blood that hadn't been there a moment ago, but managed to calm himself nonetheless. This was for fun. There was no need to get all battle-y.
He snarled and punched but managed to only nick Bul's chin with a knuckle.

It seemed now the only noise they'd be hearing was the sound of heaving air through their lungs and perhaps the coughing up of blood in the end.
Already they'd managed to drip blood from either body onto the mat but Bul was too focused on going until he couldn't fight any longer to notice. In fact he felt the blood building up to the point that when he licked his lip he had to spit the rest out off to the side. Once again he swung and was met with a nick to the face obstructing his own shot.

Even as beaten up and rage suppressed as he was, West still had some fight left in him. He wheezed out a chuckle when he saw Bul spit a lovely red gob of blood onto the ring and as he smiled, he felt his own dripping between his lips and down his chin.
The monster's miss coupled with the sight of his handiwork rejuvenated West a bit and he stepped forward to deliver a punch to Bul's body, hoping to knock the wind out of the other boil.

BAM! Bul felt it in his chest and coughed a couple of times in what seemed like a strained laugh. "Mother ********!" he gasped and stepped back a few feet to avoid a sudden barrage before he could get another hit in.
Shoving himself forwards again Bul made a swipe for a shoulder. No longer was his tail whipping about behind him instead it dragged lifelessly a key to how tired he was. They'd managed to drag the fight out for what seemed like forever.

West had stopped bouncing on the balls of his feet long ago, and when Bul's fist hit his shoulder, he looked down at it for a second in confusion before brushing at the boil's hand.
Yes, clearly this fight had gone on too long.

In the back of his mind Bul considered stopping but he felt like he could go on for a few more punches, granted he didn't get suckerpunched into the next dimension.
Too weak to throw anything strategic West's way, Bul was now set on just blindly scuffling in the general direction of the other boil.
