I have a ton of questions that might help you flesh out her profile a little more. Hope it's not too much, but I think she's cool and want to know more. xD;;
What caused her to have such a fondness for insects and arachnids? Do they symbolize anything special? (Could be something from real life Egypt or another culture, or something you were thinking.) It seems like the scorpion is particularly important since she has one on her clothing, so I was wondering about that. Did it start before or after she died?
I like the locusts as part of her FEAR. That would be terrifying.
Since she is an undead, it's fitting that she has the symbol of the Ankh on as a necklace. Was eternal life as an undead something she would have wanted in her past life? Is she disappointed at having this life instead of the afterlife the Egyptians normally aspired to have?
You mentioned that she wants to be treated as Pharaoh's wife, but did she ever want to be a
lady Pharaoh? Maybe even now? Could this have been part of why she died? She sounds like she might work as a haughty sort who always aspires to have more: more followers, more admirers, more power.
In the story of the graverobbers, what time period are we in? There were graverobbers in ancient times too, so were these other Egyptians or was it in modern times?
In the
undead info thread, it says that,
"Mummies fell a bit out of place in the modern day. They were once someone important, but now are on the bottom of the social chain due to their horrible looks and attitudes." How does Nek feel about this? It sounds like something that would really bother her after the way she used to be revered.
It also says in that thread that mummies are not so pretty under the bandages. How is Nek handling that?
What sort of hex does she have for her natural ability?
If someone were to make fun of her or make a comment about her being a mummy, how would she react? What about the opposite, if someone was complimenting her beauty or flirting with her? How does she feel about falling love? Like Bili asked earlier, I'm curious about her past relationships. Was she in love with her husband, or did she have a lover? Did she have family?
I'd like to know more about her reasons for enrolling at the academy. It sounds like a lot of work to go to school for admirers, so does she have any ulterior motives? Is she secretly lonely in a deeper way? Even if she doesn't like book learning, does she have any desire to find out about herself or her past? (Maybe take a look at the classes available in the RP forums and see if there are any that she would be interested in.)
One last question, how do her emotions affect her FEAR ability? What I read about mummies made them sound pretty angry, so does that shape it in any way for her?
