A light snort escaped the bluenette at the words 'war zone'. "We live in a war zone. All that stuff on the news about terrorists and things blowing up due to old gas pipes are just senshi and the Negaverse getting a little heated. I could probably walk across Iraq right now with my head uncovered and be fairly calm about it. Maybe." It was easy to be blase about something thousands and thousands of miles away when you were embroiled in something at home.
Maybe she should enlist. That would get her far away from everything wouldn't it? The idea was banished immediately as foolish but it was an interesting thought. If you didn't want to be a senshi did you just find somewhere else to be? Was that an option for them? She would have to ask Castor.
"You'll just have to try it and see where you wind up. You can come back immediately if it's not anywhere good. I can teach you that later though." Hands patted absently at her sides for her cell before remembering the bag Daphne had been carting out of the library. It was retrieved from behind a pillar and a piece of paper was ripped out and a phone number scrawled across the bottom. No name was attached and there wouldn't need to be one.
"Just call this number and mentioned I helped you when you were falling off a ladder. I'll remember who you are and then we're not all compromised." Another solemn look. "I don't know if you figured it out yet but we can't really tell anyone about this. First they wouldn't really believe you and you can't ever know who is a bad guy." Or a good guy. "Capisce?"

"Okay," said Finn, taking the paper from her. Destiny City area code, and that was about all he could glean from it. He put it in his pocket and nodded at Lina. "Yeah," he said sheepishly. "Thanks for saving my a**."
"So you're going to teach me another time?" he asked. "Like next weekend or something?" He wouldn't mind seeing her again, a tough girl who fought monsters and knew a lot more about things than he did. "Oh, right, I guess I'll call you and figure out our schedules."
At this point, his presence here had just devolved into futile attempts to not go home. And as long as she was still giving him free advice, he didn't see any reason not to stay. "Capisce," Babylon nodded, and looked around awkwardly. "...I guess I'd better get home."

Lina smiled, thinking she understood. Once you knew what went bump in the night you were kinda reluctant to ever go back out into it. Of course she had been the bump and never had been afraid of the shadows. She still wasn't and that would probably prove fatal one day.
If any of them had the balls to kill her.
"Try to stick to the rooftops. Youma tend to prowl the streets and alleys looking for human fodder and there are usually several powered characters prowling from above. You'll be safter that way and there are a lot of places to hide. Also try to power down about a block or two from where you live so nobody can latch on to your exact building. I don't know if you have family or anything but...yeah. Messy." To put it lightly.
Holding up a hand in salute the Knight of Mercury turned her back and hopped onto the nearest roof, a parting response left over her shoulder. "Call me soon, okay? I get pretty bored."
