I think the big sunglasses can work on certain people depending on their face. Once my friend was wearing the giant aviator shades. At first I laughed but it kind of worked on him. I tend to stick with medium sizes though.

Jiggalicious FastFresnel Jiggalicious Oh yeah... As an aside...wait till it happens that something you grew up liking goes away and comes back. It's...surreal. Maybe your kids will do the same to you some day. xd Amen, sista. Bellbottoms. Platform shoes. Lots of dark eyeliner. Now ... giant glasses? I'm so confused! Add the 80s off the shoulder tops, tube tops...all the fashionistas pulling those other 80s influences. I am waiting for fingerless lace gloves and big bows to come back. *laughs* Not that I'm wearing them, mkay... Let's add some 60s trapeze tops for that mod look, too. Heck, I've had stuff I stole from my mom when I was in high school that's back in because boho has resurged. *giggles* And oh those bags...hobo bags in all shapes and colors. Me, I wear antique and vintage jewelry. Never fails to get a huge response, regardless of time period, as long as it coordinates. biggrin And it usually fits, although the Victorian necklaces tend to be a bit smaller. |~*^.[Jay].^*~|
The only jewellery I wear for all-purpose use is:
1. One set of gold studs (in the earlobes),
2. One find gold chain with a medallion that has the Arabic word for God inscribed on it, along with a verse from the Qur'an, and
3. One gold ring with a little sapphire set in it.
That's it.
As for sunglasses, my reading glasses are Transition lenses, so they darken in the sun and go back to normal when I'm inside (if you want to see what my glasses look like, go and take a squizzy at my photos in the TLS album). I have a skinny face, so big sunglasses just don't work with me. My favourite sunglasses are very dark with gold frames, and they're not very big. Unfortunately, said sunglasses aren't mine (though I've tried them on and they look really cool on me).
