The two stopped and looked at him a smirk of a smile on their faces "you should know by now Malia and I would never let people actually relax in silence" he said. "yeah, Alexander's right, we wouldn't we would just drive you crazier" she said starting to climb the tree to reach him.

Malia and Alexander turned their attention to the crow and quickly ran off but not before telling the man "Crow's are bad omens and bad luck!" the two running out into the town, the two were considered orphans since they were never seen with their parents. Which actually was true enough, their parents had became one with the trees a long time ago. now running through town the two were being greeted warmly by the shop keepers. there was one place the two thought as bad as the crows, and that was the all girls school at the edge of town.

The raven landed on a bratch above the man and watched them go. Its eyes glowed a deep red as it kept them on the twins. It then changed into a man of similar age to the other, wearing a black suit with grey pinstripes down the pants and coat. He had on black and red vanns and wore a red undershirt that was untiealy ruffled. He had on a black and red fedora that made his black hair frindge out. The same red eyes kept watch even from the long distance. "Bad omen hu?" The new arriver scoffed at that as he scowled. "Guess thats not to far from the truth eh Drath?" He asked looking down to the other male. Drath just grined. "Yhea, I guess not. Did you bring what I asked for?" The one above him dropped a small box into Drath's hand before smirking. "Why else would I be here?" Drath opened up the box and took out a silver necklace with a crystal cross on it. "Good boy Sliph.." Drath said as he placed it around his neck. Sliph rolled his eyes at that comment. "So are we just about finished here? You know his highness is waiting for a report.." Drath looked out to the town. "We are just about finished here. Just a few more things that haft to be taken care of.." As the night fell the tree they had been in was left alone as there pressince was in the forest no longer.

What had she just witnessed? Annabel Rose Emrys could not believe her eyes! She had been hiding in the drooping limbs of the great weeping willow of which she was so fond on the outskirts of Chevencroy Forest, the thick, dark wood in which Mortshot Manse was enclosed. Secretly watching the twins Malia and Alexander frolicking in the glen was her escape from the stifling atmosphere of St. Catherine's, and she had been doing just that, until she'd noticed a strange youth sitting in the tree opposite her. She had been watching him until a sinister-looking raven flew up to him. She normally liked ravens - they were such intelligent birds - but this one looked more malevolent than any normal raven. And then it had transformed into a man! She couldn't hear what the two men had talked about at that point, but she had seen the crystal cross the raven-man had given the youth in the tree. She turned, and fled as silently as she could, hoping against hope that her flaming red hair would not giver her away. She could be quiet, when she wanted - she tried her best to disappear whenever she could. Her school uniform, a simple gray pinafore over a long-sleeved black blouse, would be indistinguishable in the dusky wood, she thought.

the twins ran back into the forest Malia colliding with Annabel "sorry" she said softly, Alexander being protective ran in front of his sister and glanced at the strange woman "uniform Mal" he said pointing out that she belonged to the school the two hated and avoided at all cost's it was no secret to the girls that went there that the twins hated it.

In a short amount of time, Drath and Sliph had made there way to the other end of town as the light from the sun had all but vanished from the sky as the stars and moon took over for there shift. They both came a set of iron barred gates with a chain and padlock keeping them closed. Sliph had his back leaning aginst it as he looked to Drath with suspecion. "You sure this is the place that your Uncle said it would be?" Drath nodded looking over the area. Behind the gate was a cemetary with many people resting in peace. It wasn't a terribly large plot of land but it did hold plenty of names within it. Neither one were afriad of such places, rather finding more solice in the comfort and solitude of the areas being not any where near normal. "It should be obvious enough to spot once we are in." He said looking up at the spiked tipped gate posts rather than the lock that hung around the gates opening preventing passage through them. "Well should we get going? I'm sure your father and uncle are waiting for your word of your safe return." Sliph said with a obvious mock worried look on his face. Drath gave him a slight shove on the shoulder. "Yhea right, as if." They made sure the coast was clear and that no humans were around before seeming to disapear from there position on the streets to the dark cemetary barely lit by the night time sky.

Having frightened off the two beautiful children she so loved to watch, she cursed her clumsiness. Now they'd look for her before they came out to play again. She'd have to be stealthier. She headed for the cemetery, where she knew she could find some peace to help her sleep at night. She had not feared cemeteries since the death of her parents - when there, she always felt their presence. Moreover, she could, sometimes, hear a murmuring there. She had begun to think it was that of the dead who did not yet rest easy. It was not that of her parents - she knew they were at peace; in heaven, she hoped. But the murmurs had begun to resolve themselves into whispers, and sometimes, she could whisper back. At first, this had frightened her, but within a few weeks, she welcomed it. No matter what others thought of her, above all, she desired to do good. If this is the way in which she was to do good, so be it; she would pour all of her efforts into it.
Once there, she witnessed another strange encounter between the dark youth and the crow-man, as she hid herself in the entrance to a crypt. How did she keep running into them? She would have to be more careful - she did not want to end her life at the hands of some demon, not when she now had a mission to care for the dead.

Sliph had his hands behind his head as he followed Drath, who was looking at all the head stones inspecting each one throughraly. "Wouldn't it make more since to keep it in one of the seplicures? I mean good thinking that they hid it away in a place like this and all but I mean isn't there going to a big deal with it and everything?" Drath nodded as his eyes seemed to glow within the light of the moon as well. His pupils were like that of a cat's or a snake's, slit and looming, seeming to be just as effeciant in darkness as in light. "Yes but grave robbers eat thoughs places alive.. If it were me I would have done exactly as they would have so far." He said after inspecting a large slab with two names on it. He walked over to another as Sliph kept following. "So what is it that we are looking for again?" Drath sighed. "I am looking for the secret entrence.. you are looking for fun and thought that joining me would be." "Cemetaries and secret passages.. How can that not be fun?" Drath held up a hand to silence the other as he ran his hand over the center of one of the head stones. "This is it.."

Why were they looking so intently at her parents' grave? Anabel was sorely tempted to get a closer look, but restrained herself. She didn't want to join her parents beyond the grave yet, though she missed them. There was work to be done.
She knew every secret passage; every weeping stone angel of the cemetery by heart. So she slipped away as silently as she could, back into the woods she knew so well. Little did she know that a wolf walked the woods that night in search of tender young flesh, but she would leave the dark boughs of Chevencroy Forest with more than a mere flesh wound...

Drath took off the crystal cross from around his neck and took off the necklace it was on. He tossed the lace to the ground and took the crystal cross in hand carefuly. He lined it up with the space on the head stone that matched the cross' and incerted it gently into the space. It fit snuggly in the opening that it was ment for. As Drath stoof up the sound of stone on stone could be heared as the crystal was locked into place. The sound of electrisity and the continued sound of stone grinding aginst each other could be heared as the stone soon began to roll back reveiling a marble stair case that led down into a dark and narrow passage way. For Sliph, who didn't attend many of Drath's expeditions was fairly surprised by this, but Drath was uste to this sorta thing and only admired the ingenuity of it as he glanced around. "Come on we need to get going before anyone else shows up.." Sliph looked around a bit before they both made there way down to the shadows that had not seen the light of day or the glimmer of the moon in many many years. After five minutes later the toumb stone began to sound again and moved back into its origanel position. The crystal was released from its position and fell safely into the grass as the grave yard was silent once more.

Malia and Alex were running around the forest once more before Malia stopped seeing the wolf, she started to make grunting noises at it while Alex ran after Annabel to get her to safety, the twins usually stayed in the trees when the sun fell, because of the wolves but they had seen Annabel while they were running together.

The woods around Annabel drifted in and out of focus, and it was all she could do not to pass out from the searing pain in her right arm. She remembered very little about how it was that she came to be so grievously wounded, perhaps because there was so little to remember. There had been a flash of matted, ebon fur and the glower of huge yellow eyes, then a pain unlike anything she'd ever imagined in her right arm, an agonizing boring into the marrow that caused her to pass out. Was that Malia and Alex above her?

Malia jumped down Alex following and the two bound her arm to slow the bleeding "you should have gone back" Malia muttered Alex sighed "it's not safe in these woods after dark, that's why we stay in the trees, wolves come to prey on foxes" he explained

After carefuly walking down the stairs they reached the bottom into an open room. They both could see even in the pitch black darkness but in order to have a bit more light, a flame covered his hand as he held it up in front of him and Sliph both. The room was lit up showing the marble colums that lined up the walls and the shallow ingraveings lineing every where. They both looked around searching for something to give them a clue for what they were hunting. "Guess theres another room hidden hu?" Sliph questioned. "There almost always is.." He said running his free hand over the ingraveings. "I've seen these characters some where but where?" He thought. Sliph walked up behind him and looked over his shoulder. He staired at it a moment before answering for Drath. "Its mirrored wrighting. You can read it if you have a mirror to look at it." Drath wondered why he didn't notice it sooner. "I don't need one, just give me a moment.." He took some time to read it backwords all around the room, noticeing two marble coffins near the stair case. Sliph was laying out on the floor waiting for Drath to finish. Drath inspected the coffins takeing a break from reading. "These must be the ones whos names are engraved on the toumbstones..." Sliph shrugged. "So? Is that realy important?" "Everything is important..."
