Being with Rehani must have calmed down the charcoal lion, because he made no comment to her except: "So, it is true." He mused over the small toffee lion looking more of his sister than whoever be Taabu's father. Which, Denahi was wondering... Quirking an eyebrow at her, his nose twitched. "Who's is i..." He stopped, a snarl approaching on his maw.
Black tuffs of hair, that marking under his eyes. His toes, underbelly even?! But most importantly...his eyes! "Out of all the lions it was /him/?!" He sneered, growling towards her. Great, that sickly lion defiled their blood, which could mean...he might be reutnring soon! Denahi's tail lashed around wildly, tempting to 'despose' of /his/ blood, but Sye was near.
And despite his normal outlook on most things, she was still his sister and the cub was (though he hate to admit it) his family.

The cub's eyes widned as he heard the snarl, slowly backing away before he whined at the yell, finally rushing to his mother and moving between her paws and under her, nose burried against her stomach as he felt her tail comfortably cover him.
Syeira frowned as her son scuttled to her, in such a rush that he didn't even do his counting - which could be in some rights a good thing. Though, once she felt his trembling stop, her bright eyes turned up to Denahi in a glare. "Calm yourself down, Denahi, at least in front of my son. Your anger may be well placed with Uumi, but dont you blame Taabu for something out of his control. I expect you to treat him like the rest of the family, half pride lander or not. He has it bad enough having only one parent."
After a moment, though, she sighed and shut her eyes, ears slowly drooping as she let her temper calm down. It did no good to bite her brother's head off in front of her son. "Just please don't take it out on him, I don't want Taabu discriminated against. What happened with Uumi was not something I planned, he did it out of.. rage." She winced slightly at the memory, though it honestly wasn't as bad as she'd thought. She deserved it, honestly, though - no one would really know why. "But I love Taabu, I'd not have him any different." Ok, yeah, she could do without the OCD, but other than that..

Denahi rolled his eyes as Syeira spoke. "Please, you are talking to me like mother or father would. ANd let me ask you something, have I ever listened to them?" He paused a moment, as if expecting her to answer. But quickly enough, he answered for himself, "I don't think so." A slow smirk was brought on his maw at her next comment. "And you say treat him like the rest of the family eh? How would you define that for me, because I think carrying him has caused your brain to malfunction. So you are telling me to treat him like I do Tamu?" The smirk broadend, his blue eyes glinting maliciously.
But the smirk moved into a frown. He did it out of rage? Strike two for the sickly male.

Her eyes narrowed as he took her words and threw them back at her. She should have known that even in this state, with her at least attempting to be nice to her slightly older brother, that he would still be his normal, pain in the a** self. "You know what I meant, Denahi," she said, a slight hiss tainting her words, "treat Taabu like you treat Tamu and I'll kill you in your sleep, do you understand me? It's bad enough you beat up on Tamu all the tiem, but to pick on a cub when you're so much older is sick and twisted, even for you."
Though, at the frown, she chanced a glance to his eyes. Yes, they bit each other's heads off constantly, and he was a thorn in the paw to every member of the family - but he cared. At least enough to want to slit Uumi's throat. Though, what comfort that did bring her, she didn't want that to happen. What sort of intelligent conversation could she have then?
"Don't go and bother him," she said quietly, shaking her head slightly as her claws dug into the fresh soil beneath her paws, "he doesn't even know." She sighed, shaking her head softly, "and under no circumstances do you tell father. I don't need him challenging Mufasa - which is exactly what would happen if he picked a fight with Uumi." After all, Mufasa was the big kahuna - challenging Uumi was challenging Mufasa, and challenging Mufasa was like challenging the world.
The small cub, now slightly calmed in the embrace of his mother, gazed out over the soft tuft of her tail, watching the burly male not so far away. He was dark, like Gama. Though, he hadn't expected him to be quite so mean, not at all. Maybe a little - but he was a cub! Weren't you supposed to be nice to cubs? Gama and Gapa were nice to him. Poor kid was going to have more mental issues than Tamu did if Denahi did this too much.
Though, Taabu couldn't help wonder now: Who was Uumi?

Strike 3 against Uumi. He didn't know he had a son? Pathetic. Denahi merely snorted, not answering Syeira as he began to move away. He couldn't promise her to not do anything to the ickle pridelander, for anger once against coarsed right through his blood. All I got to say is, when Uumi decides to make his appearance around Denahi, he better be ready for him.

I guess this would be really bad timing then, wouldn't it? Uumi had led Kiuma through the forest after three days or so of rather boring, slow traveling. He was feeling rather tense, and a bit weary. He kept his crimson eyes peeled and his nostrils took in very deep breaths. He was trying to see if Denahi was around, what a pathetic excuse for a lion. (Though many said the same of himself.)
"This way, Kiuma." He murmered, he wasn't sure exactly where he was heading but soon they got lucky. Just a head he saw who he'd been searching for. And who he'd been trying to avoid. Crap! He hadn't yet seen the cub. His eyes flicked over Syeira's body. Look, she wasn't fat! He was off the hook, or so he thought.

Bright eyes, a match for her brothers and the cub she didn't even dreamed existed, scanned the forrest warily. Where her twin was weary and tense, travel seemed to have agreed with adolescent. She radiated energy and vitality, her sleek pelt well groomed. The bone beads of her necklace clicked softly as she moved, hardly noticeable with all the sounds around her.
"Uumi... why are we here? You never did tell me who you wanted to see, or why..." Her soft voice drifted off as she caught sight of the other adolescent. Memory nagged at her... Hadn't she met this one once before? She and Uumi had been arguing...
Reason enough to dislike her. Anything that bothered Uumi was automatically on Kiuma's bad side. Rounded ears pressed back against her head as she followed her brother, her young body tense.

Syeira had just turned her eyes away from Denahi, ignoring the moody charcoal male. He'd just have to protect Uumi from him, like she always did. Though, when she turned her eyes away - it was that very red little male that she saw. Only he was not so little anymore, and he was with his twin now. Her name was.. Kiuma?
With a frown on her maw, Syeira pushed herself up onto her limbs hurridly, nosing Taabu, the little mocha furball, towards the cave. "Go in there with Gapa," she whispered, knowing her father was still probably lazing around, she just hoped that he didn't wake too soon. She couldn't defend Uumi from both her brother and her father.
As soon as the little cub had sulkingly sauntered into the cave, she turned on her heel, bolting as fast as she could past Denahi - getting to Uumi slightly out of breath, after all, she hadn't really exercised since she'd given birth to the little cub.
"Uumi," she managed to pant out, her muscles tense as she tried to block him from Denahi's view - probably with very little luck, two big red lions were obviously going to be scene. Like sore thumbs, they stuck out. "You shouldn't be here," she said sternly, blue eyes narrowing. "It's dangerous here for you, even more so now than before," she whispered it, hoarse, but she knew Denahi would be on them in a minute. "Denahi's after you, and my father," she shook her head, chancing a glance to Kiuma.
"I don't know you, not well anyway, Kiuma - but please, make him leave. At least, get him away from this place. My father's den is just over there." SHe turned her eyes over her shoulder - narrowing them slightly at the little red ones that met hers from the entrance and then dissappearded, "it's not safe." Since when did Syeira care about Uumi's safety? Well, in any real large and expressed degree?
Little Tabuu sulked as he turned away from his mother's gaze, away from the lion whose eyes were like his, and the tufts of black hair! It was the only other one of such color he had seen, and his mother knew him. It could be his father! But he'd not found out, not now, his mother was being stern, and he knew that look.
"Gapa," he whined quietly, crawlig over to the lion slumbering in the cave, noze pressed against his with the smallest pout. "Mama won't let me go see those red lions," he said, trying desperately to wake his grandfather. Maybe just to have company or maybe, more likely, to go behind his mommy's back and get permission.
Little did he know that waking Asi would be.. bad.

Denahi watched as Syeira hurried past him, sending Taabu back into the den. He blinked, snorting for a moment as he caught sight of a red form. Two red forms actually! So, he had decided to come! Perfect. Good thing he didn't promise Syeira that he wouldn't hurt Uumi. Oohooo this would be perfect!
"What are you hiding, dear sissster," He voiced out, his eyes perking with glee. Oh this would be to fun. "Hiding something from your dear brother now? Tsktsktsk, you really shouldn't." Denahi told her, himself unsheathing his claws and stalking up to the pair of red lions.

"We're here because.." He trailed off as Syeira suddenly rushed at him, he moved back a few paces, perhaps thinking she would be the one attacking him! His body tensed and his tail flicked, hitting lightly against his twins. His crimson eyes narrowed. s**t, this was completely bad timing on his part. His eyes flicked to the little cub, he'd only caught a glimpse. Nothing to do with him, not at all!
"What a lovely welcome, Syeira." He murmered sarcastically, crimson gaze meeting her saphire. But right as they met his eyes flinched away. So he could not do it, he could no longer look her in the eye. He ignored the rest of her words, eyes foccusing soley on the dark beast. He wanted to actually get behind Kiuma right now.
"Are you so stupid you can not see two bright red lions.. with only your sister to block them? I didn't think she was that fat, but I suppose my eyes have been tricked." He sneered out. Didn't he know this was not the time for insults?
Asi snorted, ears flicking to hear the little one's words. "Wassat?" He muttered, eyes opening slowly. "Wai.. yeh.. re.." He mumbled something, and then sat upright. Strangers.. that Sye wouldn't let her son see? "C'mon Taabu, les go 'splore 'em." He muttered, stalking from the den, not bothering to see if the little one was following right now.

Kiuma tensed, her lips pulling back from her fangs. Red fur rose down her spine, and her tail lashed anxiously. "Uumi, what's going on? Why is it not safe for you here?" As the dark male aproached, she became even more agitated. Something was going on here... and she didn't like it. The sleek, youthful body tensed, gathering itself for action.

Her fur bristled as she heard her brother's words, instantly casting a gaze back to him, sighing softly. "Denahi, please don't do this." Her eyes flashed downwards, then she glanced up at Uumi yet again, her tail flickering as she moved forward, slightly away from her brother. She was trying to back Uumi and his sister away so they would leave. If her father came out then he and Denahi would gang up the poor boy. It was obvious when you saw him. That was when she felt the little brush.
Taabu, who had been following his Gapa quite excitedly, now wriggled up under his mother and stood between her legs - peering up with his red eyes to those that matched his. Why wouldn't he look at his mommy? "Mama, who're they?" he asked, tilting his head. Too bad he couldn't see the unease in his mother's eyes.

Denahi sneered to Uumi. "I'm suprised you have the courage to show your face around here after what you did to her." He snarled. "And if you were around just a few weeks ago, you would know those words you just said were false." a low growl emitted from his throat, his head turning towards Kiuma.
"Oh, didn't precious Uumi tell you what he did to Syeira over there?" Denahi asked, quite amused that the red pridelander not only messed with his sister and left her to bare the weight of a child on her own, but didn't bother to tell anyone? "Well, this should be quite interesting."
Denahi remained standing, scoffing at his sister. "Why not Sye? Hmmm? He deserves it, does he not? Thinking he can show his face on these lands after leaving? I think not." His blue eyes narrowed onto Uumi once more. "You should have taken your chance to leave when you had the chance. At least that way you had the possibility of leaving these lands unscathed. Now," he crouched low to the ground, ready to attack, "your chance is up." With a low snarl, the charcoal prince pounced; his target Uumi.

Kiuma moved like quicksliver, a snarl coming from between her bared fangs. Her shoulder slammed into her brother's, using her weight to push him out of the way. She met Denahi's attack with a solid stance, not having time to do more than brace herself after pushing her twin out of the way. As claws dug into fur, she cried out in pain, raising her paws to wrap them around Denahi's thick chest. Attack her other half? She'd kill him for it.

(BFD. it was my turn. Next time please wait for me to post.)
Momma? His eyes flashed toward Syeira, searching around for the owner of that voice. Narrowed, angry, crimson eyes met large, curious, crimson eyes. Uumi didn't even noticed Denahi lunging at him, hell half of what Denahi said was lost. He felt like curling up and dying. Things like that weren't supposed to happen to him.
Everything jarred and seemed to spin as Kiuma shoved him roughly out of the way, he stumbled sideways and suddenly his paw caught on something, he couldn't tell what. Perhaps a rock. He slammed forward, already in a coughing fit. That t**t, what the hell was her problem? He snarled as he tried to scramble back to his paws, to see what the hell was going on. His body twisted and he could see the dark pelted lion and his other crimson half, suddenly engaged in a fight. He knew that attack had been for him, he wasn't stupid.
"Kiuma." He snarled through coughing, eyes shutting tight. Why did this one hurt today? These seemed to come more rarely than the actual coughing pains, the sense of running into something sharp, or maybe breathing in slivers of glass. "Ki, get off of him." He finally shouted, catching sigh of the coffee colored lion heading their way, he was bigger than Denahi. And he was sure this was Syeira's and Denahi's father.
He suddenly doged forward, not very gracefully about it. Everything in his body was trying to tell him to stay put, let the fit pass and then let Kiuma do his fighting. But the idiot wouldn't be alive long enough to fight for him if she kept at it today. His body slammed into both Kiuma's and Denahi, which would put him in great danger. But he was trying to get them apart.
Asi snarled as he headed toward them slowly, but suddenly everything errupted. Why were there two red lions? One female.. the other male. Oh god, he'd kill him! Why was he even there? His tail lashed as he saw one of them block Denahi's attack, the female he thought. The male was shoved to the side. What the hell were they doing, fighting in front of his little grandson! He began to race forward, suddenly lunging at Uumi, who was trying to interfere in the other fight.
His coffee colored paws slammed into the other and they went flying forward, uumi hitting the ground as Asi pounced him. He suddenly let out a deafening roar, "Wha' be a lil' scumbag like yeh be doin'ere?" He snarled out, chest heaving.
Uumi's eyes widened, pupils shrunk down and suddenly he felt the earth connecting with is back. His head jerked up as he coughed up a bubble of blood, it splashed onto both Asi and himself, staining his cream colored fur. His ears pressed against his skull and he tucked his head.
What the hell was he thinking coming here? This was going to be the end of his and Kiuma's damn trip at this point! He couldn't even understand what the idiot above him was saying!
