Umo smiled. He had been told that before, he was a kind and gentle lion after all. Closing his red eyes he thought for a few moments while she spoke. So she wanted to return home. He opened his eyes when she said she would appreciate some company. He smiled. "Well. If you do not mind I would enjoy acompanying you to your home. If that is not to bold of a thing to do." He said with a shrug.

Kikawaida almost feinted with his words. "Really?" she looked up at him hoopefully her big gentle pink eyes filled with an amoount of appreciation she had never shown to anyone. She tried to put a stop to her excited look, but she really couldn't "Oh thankyou Umo!" she managed at last standing up and licking the big male on the cheek, though she looked severely embarressed after doing this. "Sorry" She looked at the ground feeling exceedingly sheepish, she hadn't meant to do that, sometimes she did things before she really thought them through "I would love for you to come with me though..I'm sure you'd like it there, maybe you can stay a few days I'll hunt down something really good for you to eat" she knew she was yammering, ehr eyes still turned to the ground, if she could have blushed, she certainly would have, she felt so silly for perfoerming such a simpl;e act. However, she really was extatic maybe he would like the swamp too, and stay there..maybe she was getting her hopes up. All she wanted was company and this ever so friendly comforting male had plodded in to her life. The gods and the spirits must certainly be watching over her.

Umo watched her startled reaction. "Of course." He said simply, smilling at her, the celtic markings on his cheeks moving. He watched her apparent happiness to not be alone. He blushed when she gave him her appreciation lick on the cheek and looked startled for a moment herself. A female had shown him affection and he had never experianced that before. He was taken aback but quickly recovered. "O-oh. Thats alright." He said with a smile, looking at her with a diffrent look in his eye. "Sure. I guess. That would be splendid." Umo was no longer thinking about how lonely he was but how unlonely she was going to be.

Kikawaida lifted her head slowly looking up at the big male with a pretty smile on her maw "Thankyou Umo" she shispers standing and brushing against him rubbing her cheek against his large shoulder "You barely know me yet you forgive me my mistakes and deem me worthy of your company I am forever in your debt" she whispers, her dusty pink eyes fixed, almost dependantly upon those handsome red eyes of the burly male. "I will hunt you the most perfect meal I swear" she puurrs ehr smile never fading. She felt so happy, and still, she had that pan of a hope that he would stay with her. She didn't want to be alone any more.

Umo looked down at her and for once in his life... he was glad he was with anouther of his age. Blinking down at her, his crimson eyes shining silently. He felt the same way. "I understand how happy you are. I would think that my manner of speaking would discourage you." He said with a smile. He was smiling alot and that was something he never did. Something about her, her pink eyes... her whispering voice. They both had odd voices didn't they? "Of course. If I did not forgive mistakes I would be a very lonely lion would I not? You do not have to do that, I can hunt for myself and you if it what you wish?" He said, cocking his head at all the attention he was getting from this female. His new friend. He didn't want to be alone all of a sudden.

Kikawaida smiled softly "Please..allow me Umo. It will be the least i can do to thankyou" her voice was so whispy, almost spiritual really as if she had only spoken to ethreal beings her whole life. Which she had of course, her voice however didn't change when speaking to others of a more solid structure. She too couldn't help but smile at him, he was such a handsome, towering male. A gentle giggle escaped ehr which was quite musical in a way before she got to ehr foot paws once again and brushed all around him, ehr whole body pressing against his a smaller cat brushing against a larger, seeing attention. "I won't be long, I beleive I scented some large beasts around heer some where. Don't go away" she takes a few steps away from him then, looking back as if double checking he were real. He was real, he definately was, oh please, let him stay, she had never met anyone she was so, enchanted by.

Kikawaida turned around and tilted her head softly. "I didn't think males hunted" she whispers her voice adelighted puurr though as she waited for him her shoulder coming in to contact with his as he caught up "My mother always taught me that females do the hunting" she licks her lips, that smile never fading from her face though. "I would welcome your assistance though" she puurrs lookng up at him. He was a very large male, she wasn't petite just a little gangly from living in the swamp her whole life, her slender form though didn't effect the fact that she was rather pretty, her markings a little strange and her eyes exceedingly unusual. Those eyes, they sparkled happily as she padded along beside the larger male. Would he stay with her? She hoped so. she was growing very attached to the monotone voiced male.

Umo smiled, intent on that he may have stumped her. "I have been alone for a while. I learned how to swallow my male pride and hunt my own prey." He said with a chuckled, pressing his shoulder into hers when they touched. "My mother taught me females hunted only as well but I changed my mind when I had no female to rely on. I find it would be nicer to hunt in unison than sit while she does all the work. I guess I am odd like that." He said, the smile leaving his face never. This female. She was diffrent. Something about her... shined. He admired her beliefs and admired her ways. He found himself entranced by her. "Natually. I figured you would find my help appreciable." he said flatly, looking away from her form to take a moment to regain himself. "It is no... fun to be alone."

Kika smiles lightly at the big male, what a strange concept it was for her to hear him speak of such things. She laughed softly. It was ceryainly a new age they were living in if males could just decide they were the hunters "Does that mean I get to laze about instead?" She grinned playfully, reaching up and nipping one of his ears before she bounded off with he tail in the air. She was in a fun mood, hunting didn't have to be a sombre affair to her. It never had been before.
Of course, she soon stopped ehr revelling when she remembered she had to be quiet. Herd beasts scared easily and she didn't want to frighten a herd. Turning her dusty pink eyed gaze she looked back at Umo with a gentle smile "you're right, being alone isn't any fun at all she whispers, her voice so airy and light it was almost a part of the wind "The herd is just over this rise" she says after a moment of standing still. "we can catch one together."

Kika nodded softly. It was time for silence now. Creeping forwards, ehr belly to the ground she crested the rise and licked her lips. She easily singled out the creature she wanted, it was smaller than the rest, old, young or uinjured. It was food. Her tail flickered once and she ran around the outside of the herd, startling it to break up before heading for the beast she had singled out. She hoped Umo would see her coice and help briing it down, his weight would certainly make the process easier.

Umo took her lead and grew silent, stalking and deadly. His own body was low to the ground, his dark pelt blending well enough in shadows. HIs crimson eyes watched her body movements, judging by what she did to see who she was after. He took a moment to admire how stealthy she was. Shaking his head, he felt his muscles tighten in tune with hers and when she ran, he did as wel. His muscular legs pushed off from the ground with so much strength. He caught on to the one she singled out and chased after it as well. Leaping foreward, he raked his claws across its hind courters, causing it to stumble and slow. THe leap had made him loose inertia, so it was her turn to help slow the creature while he caught his speed back up.
The thrill of the kill was surging

As the beast slowed Kika wasn't a second away from getitng in and capturing the animals throat. he had certainly made this an easy kill. The doe would come down easily now. Her strong, sharp jaws tightend upon the preys throat and she clamped down hard waiting for it to fall properly. Of course, once umo caught up he would help to keep it pinned until it suffocated. This was certainly oneof the most interesting hunts she had ever been on and with a male, of all things, she had always hunted alone before.

Umo caught up his speed, leaping foreward and crashing into the does front legs, so with the added weight of kika, it felled. He landed underneith the deer, but squirmed out quickly before the creature could begin to kick. He spun, grabbing hold of the animals nose, clamping off its mouth and nose, so if it could breathe with Kika on its throat, it couldnt' retrieve the air. Umo held on, his front claws wrapped around the deers head while his back legs dug in for support. This deer was coming down. He had the urge to impress this female.
