It was still gone.
THIS. WAS. BAD.
Her lip trembled. She was so scared. What if Mandy didn't like her anymore?
So, Claire screamed at the thing.
"GET HERE RIGHT NOW OR I WILL EAT YOU... BUT I'LL HAVE TO FIND YOU FIRST. BUT I'LL STILL EAT YOU. UH...YEAH."
And the little thing did.

It was actually Claire's yelling that had caught Riley's attention, instead of the notices all around the dorms. Riley had been on her way out of the monster dormitories when she heard that scream, and returned to investigate.
Thusly, she did not have a cage with her, as the note would have specified - nor did she have any kind of container. She did, however, have her own tentacles. They were not to be underestimated.
Knocking on the door out of formality if nothing else, she peeked inside. She had no idea whose room it was - if she had, she might have thought twice about coming.
Claire? Are you in here? Is there trouble?

Mandy wasn't mad. No, no, completely wrong end of the spectrum.
She was horrified.
It got into her clothing draw and Claire went through it and, ohgoddidshethreatentoeatit?
She didn't want any of the babies eaten!
And then it got worse.
She arrived.
Mandy felt her face burn in remembered embaressment. Why oh why did she answer the poster?
Wait, she'd asked if anything was wrong. She hadn't seen it! Maybe Mandy could divert this.
But. Then again.
Loose akubrapus.
Emotions warred for a moment before Mandy called out, "Theres a mini loose, we where trying to transfer it to a new cage."

Riley heard a voice, and stepped in through the door to see who it was- oh. Well, of course it was Mandy. Of course it was. Riley sighed sharply before she gave the girl a casual nod in greeting. There was nothing to be embarrassed about, after all.
Oh, I see. Have you successfully captured it, or do you still need assistance?

The racket in the monster dorms did not go unnoticed by a certain red dragon. Though he tried to ignore it, that wasn't quite possible. Eventually, Jericho had given up on trying and went to seek out what the hell was going on that was causing so much noise. Perhaps someone needed to be punched or something along those lines.
Grumbling, he kept moving along towards the source, finally finding it. He had just caught Mandy's explanation.
Hopefully this mini wasn't anything like Cam. Ugh he did not want to go through something like that again.
"So that's what's with all the noise?" he asked grumpily.

In Claire's mind, this was like a Seinfeld-Esq entrance from Riley. She was happy to see her and she made a little 'dew kwa dewww' noise as she entered.
"Hi Riley!" Riley said something about it being caught and Claire piped in "There's lotssss of them, Riley. I caught this one all by my self. You should help! Here, take a cage." She spewed out a cage and passed it to Riley with a smile and a thumbs up.
"HI DRAGON MAN!" She said to the... guy... that entered.
What Claire didn't notice was that the tentacle thing had escaped. God damn it.
