He once more walked beside her, thought slightly ahead to lead her to their temporary dwelling. "Then we will stop in a clearing I know." He glanced over towards her. "I will take my kill once you are settled for the night," he mentioned. He was no grass eater, but he knew the lessers ate such and other non-meat variety.
He decided to set some ground rules for her to fill the silence. "When we are settled for the night, you will not leave the grounds. Understood?" He expected absolute obedience from his Treasure. "If you leave, I will find you," he said as he leaned in to take a good whiff of her clean scent.

Aine gave a quiet nod as they walked, the dragon wasn't very talkative but from the stories she'd heard they never really where, so she just kept stride. She didn't change her expression when the stallion spoke of his 'kill', Aine couldn't say she was surprised; look at him the entire stallion was meant to eat meat. Though she silently hoped he didn't eat other soquili. "Thank you for the consideration," she gave a light smile.
Though his sudden charm switched on her with demands, though as long as she was fancied she could comply, at least till she got bored. Eventually she'd need some social interaction; she was a social mare after all. Aine gave a light nod "Understood," she could feel the fiery breath of the dragon on her hide, her heart rate elevated for a moment like an animal sensing danger she resisted the sudden feeling to bolt and continued with the dragon. That last comment hadn't been just a threat but a promise.
This might not be a bed of roses after all and Aine would rather keep herself in tact, she'd have to wait before she could find someone to talk to.

Myrddin could smell the fear on her and he felt a smile curl involuntarily. "Good." He went back to watching the trees in case the kalona decided to make another attempt even after the warning. He did not want his gold marred.
"You will obey me in all matters, Aine," he went on. He did not want a headstrong piece of treasure getting herself into danger or being stolen away from him. He thought of a way to not make it sound so much of a demand.
"No one else can better protect you than I." Which was pretty much the truth. He did not allow anything to win against him so easily. The only thing that had escaped his revenge was that damned white wind, Crousander.

He liked it when she was afraid, true to his race, she wouldn't always give him the pleasure. At least she would try, she wasn't sure how brave she was really she might have to resort to other measures. Special measures she was a mare after all "You made your point the first time," she assured him; though it was nice he tried to make it less of a demand this time. "I will listen." She said with finality. Hopefully no more promising threats would come with that.
the next point was probably true, he could take on a lot, so she wouldn't have to be worried about much coming after her, she could just come running back behind him so long as she did what she was told else she might end up in something the two legs called a casket. Then Again at least he was worried about her safety. "I believe that." she answered looking back at Myrddin. "Who tangles with a dragon and gets away with it."

Myrddin smirked at her subtle compliment. It pleased him that she knew about his kind, knew the prowls of his race. He pulled his leathery wings tighter against his sides, trying his best not to leak out his sense of self pride. Even that could be used against him by a foe.
He lapsed into silence, feeling his warnings had been enough to scare some sense into his treasure. The mountain was steadily looming closer, the ground becoming more rocky under hoof. He had said he would let her eat, but he wanted to make sure it was a sheltered enough area before allowing her that pleasure yet.

A silence seemed to fall upon the two, Aine saw him straighten when she slipped him a compliment, though he seemed to try and hide it. He was like many others she had met before, but far more dangerous than them. He had teeth that would bite if she made a fatal step in the wrong direction.
Aine focused ahead on the terrain as it became rougher, geeze by the end of this her legs would be thicker than the trunk of a willow. Aine had often avoided rough terrain in fear of straining herself but she had a feeling she might have to get used to and fast. Aine did her best to keep up with the dragon, without ushering the complaints that sat on the end of her tongue.
Most likely another precaution by her new protector, hopefully they would arrive soon...

The mountains provided a beautiful backdrop for the flat expanse of grass that somehow managed to survive even surrounded by large boulders and such rocky terrain. "Wait," he said as he walked off to inspect the surrounding area, his wings flared out like an agitated bird of prey.
When he felt the area was clear and safe, he nodded for her to walk towards him. "We will rest here for the night. Morning, we will move once more."

Aine waited as she was told as he inspected the area, as he did so she gazed out at the beautiful backdrop below, such a lovely view, one might consider it breathtaking. Few things where more beautiful to the mare than herself and unfortunately this wasn't one of them. Aine approached the dragon as she was called inspecting the area herself once she was able; it was indeed a nice place to rest. Aine offered Myddrin a nod of understanding.
The sun finally starting to set after a long day and Aine found herself more weary than she had realized trying to keep in front of that Kalona for so long was more tiring than she had imagined. Aine grazed, knowing her protector would make sure nothing came at her from the sky, once she ate her fill she knelt in the grass preparing for sleep. Aine wouldn't be able to sleep standing not tonight... anyway.

He made certain that she had had her fill and was seeing to her own comforts before he spread his wings. It would be faster to find his own meal quickly than to go about it on ground. He enjoyed his ground kills so much more, but he did not want his treasure harmed just because he had to appease his own stomach.
"Call out if danger arises," he stated gruffly, but believed honestly that nothing would harm her during his short absence. With nothing left for him to say, he moved away from her beating his wings to lift him into the twilight sky.
((I can continue and bring his return if need be.))

The golden mare gave him a light nod as she felt sleep coming on, she was so tired after running for her life. "I will do that." she said putting her head down, she strangely felt quite safe with the large dragons protection she wouldn't have to worry about anyone coming after her another Kalona or strange creature. No one would hurt her here. She would be safe, though how far that went she was too tired to guess at the moment.
She raised her head for a moment to watch the stallion fly away, she could hear his rhythmic wing beats, in her weariness the sounded almost hypnotic and soothing as she finally began nodding off her head felt heavy until she could no longer hold it up as she curled around herself comfortably on the soft grass.
So tired she was she slept deeply as soon as her clear blue eyes closed. ((up to you if you want a new RP or a continuation of this one =3))
