Ok. So. Salma didn't really know what she was going to expect, but she was happy with what she got. She felt her face flush, irritated that it was so obvious that she was happy. It was a good thing, but...she did hate it when her emotions betrayed her. Especially at this moment!
"I...feel the same," she finally said. Words were a bit lost at the moment, damn it!

Immediately, Tete was beaming. Her reaction was obvious, even before she spoke. Shaking the water from his paw, he stepped away from the stream and over to where she lay, taking a seat opposite her.
"I've missed hanging out with you since we settled here, but it's been very busy," he added, smiling.

Salma smiled. "Well, you'll just have to give me a good excuse to not be quite so busy." And soon enough, things should start, for the most part, run on their own.

"All right," he said, "I have plenty of spare time to share where there's not a whole lot of guarding needing doing." It was nice when things were peaceful, short patrols and keeping an eye on anybody particularly excitable and spare time. Tete liked to try to help with the hunts, he had been a hunter forever, but now he knew Salma was interested.. he would enjoy trying to distract her.
"I think we're off to a good start, if you were so busy, we wouldn't be here," he added. Good reason.

She felt herself blush slightly, and hated it. Oh, whatever. She tried to tell herself to let it go - if things kept going at this pace, there wouldn't be any reason to hide anything from him.
