Amira glanced back to see Amenophis get up and follow her. "This bush over here is usually the one I grab a few bites from." she said. She lowered he head a bit an broke off a branch with a few berries on it. She held it out for Amenophis, hoping he would take a few of the branch she was offering.

Amenophis wasn't used to sharing berries and when she offered him the branch, he hesitated. "Thanks." He told her and then nibbled on a few before pulling away from the branch. His heart seemed to skip a beat at the thought of sharing more than berries with her. He shook his head to rid himself of those thoughts and continued to watch for any dangers.

"Oh, your welcome" she said. Amira couldn't help but to notice that once again Amenophis seemed to be a bit hesitant. She wondered if it was because of her newly discovered royal background. "Nah" she said. Suddenly she realized that her speech was louder than expected, although still soft enough that he may have missed it. She continued thinking... "He seemed to act hesitant before we talked about that" she said in her head.
After a few quiets minutes, Amira spoke up again. "You seem to be a bit hesitant at times today. Is everything ok?" She hoped he wasn;t offended.

Amenophis was a little surprised that she had been paying so much attention to him that she caught him being hesitant. "Uh no everything is fine." He smiled at her and grabbed another branch and offered it to her so that she could get some berries from it.

Amira took his answer, although she still wondered if he had other things on his mind. "Even though we known each other for just a few hours, I know that I can trust you, and I hope you can trust me." Amira used that statement as her last word on the conversation, unless he decided to talk more.
She bent down to take a few berries from the branch he had in his mouth.

Amenophis laid the branch on the ground and felt like he needed to be honest with her. He felt like he could trust her and thus he had to tell her. "I think I'm starting to like you." He told her as he looked her in the eyes but once the words were out of his mouth, he looked down at the ground. He couldn't figure out why he acted so protective when he was weak or why he was shy when he normally was so bold.

Amira blushed a bit. Amira saw him looks towards the ground and walked over. Using her head, she lifted his back up. It was the first time the two had even touched. She got a calm sense over her, like something was teller her everything was definitely ok. "Theres no need to be ashamed of that," she said, trying to show no more emotion. "I have had the same feelings. You have made me feel so special, just in the short amount of time I've known you. No other stallion has even given me the time of day once they find out my background, and I truly admire you for that."

Amenophis could form no words to fill the silence.She liked him back! He opened his mouth to try and form even some kind of word. Nothing came to him, he was over joyed because she liked him back! The only thing he could think of to show her he was still interested was to nuzzle her. He moved his head to one side and began to nuzzle her neck.

Just as Amenophis nuzzled Amira, she shook a bit, rustling her wings again. It was almost like another chill went through her body. Her feathers were now laying smooth again. Amira now returned the nuzzle. She liked how she felt when she spent time with Amenophis.
"Those berries made me a bit thirsty again," she started. "I am going to head back to grab another quick drink."

Amenophis nodded in understanding and smiled at her. "I'll race you back!" He called out as he took off at a full gallop, he decided things had become to serious and he wanted to lighten the mood.

Amira smirked, "Oh really?' she asked. Amira took off at a nice gallop and suddenly spread her wings to soar through the air. She felt she could probably beat him back there using her wings as an advantage.

Amenophis completely forgot that this mare could fly through the clouds. He cursed himself for suggesting a race because now he tried to increase his speed. It didn't seem likely that he would win now and he accepted the fact. But at the very least he wanted to make it interesting, he began to run faster and started to zig zag trying to confused her if she was watching him.

Amira snickered at the stallion, hoping he had heard her. "At least these wings come in handy for something," she laughed. "are you regretting that challange yet?"
Just then she saw him starting to zig-zag. She knew he was trying to confuse her, but it wasn't going to work. After a few minutes, she landed right near where they had been earlier.

Amenophis ignored her questions and comments from the air. When he saw her land he smiled to himself because he was going to give her a prize. He didn't slow down at all once he got close to her, he lowered his head and ran at her full speed. His goal was to tackle her into the water.

Amira looked over at him just as she was hit in the side. It was too late, she fell right into the river. She was now soaked, but how could she get him back? She though for a while and the stood up. She began flapping her wings trying to get him wet as well, but realized that it wasn't working to well, so she played it off as trying to dry her wings. "Don't worry, I'll get you back," she said with a smirk.
