"That is nice to set off on a travel of your own. And thank you again for getting the grass I missed." Patchems wasn't sure what to do now. Dean was nothing like the other stallions she would come across that would tease her about her patches of markings. They were always so mean so to find one that is understanding was a nice change.
"I don't recall living with family. From the time I can recall. I have always been on my own." She sighs a bit as she looks at Dean "Your family must be lovely."

Dean stared at Patchems for a moment in mild shock; he couldn’t imagine life without a family. What would it have been like growing up all alone, as she said, being teased about the way she looked? The stallion’s smile softened, “I love my family, although they’re not exactly what you would call normal. They’re definitely not for the faint of heart, but I couldn’t imagine life without them.” He chuckled a little before shifting his weight and looking at her. “Perhaps one day you’ll find a family of your own. A friend once told me that true family doesn’t end with blood.” He smiled reassuringly.
