((It's cool...been there, done that.))
When Duality slammed into the side of the announce table and collapsed into a heap, Major Devastation quickly slid back into the ring before immediately rolling back out to reset the ring-out count before attempting to guide his opponent back to his feet and lift him up so that he is horizontal against the Marine's body. If successful, Devastation would then turn around and try to ram the masked man's lower back into the ring post.

The audience roared to life when Duality was smashed back first into the ring post.

Feeding off the roar of the crowd, after introducing Duality's spine to the ring post, Major Devastation would take a couple of steps back before looking to follow up with an attempt at a swinging side slam. If successful, the champ would slide back into the ring and get back up to his feet, and though he wasn't exactly known to be a risk taker, Devastation would wait for the luchador to get back to a vertical base before trying to catch him with a vaulting crossbody block.

Duality's spine shook when he absorbed the side slam on the outside. However a tremendous stroke of luck befell the twisted masked man, and that was his opponent not following up and staying on him. Duality milked the injury for all he was worth, taking his time to recover so that when he rose, he had the energy to attempt a flying kick to Major's skull while he soared through the air. Trying to out fly a luchador was a poor choice.

When Duality's boot slammed into the champ's head, a split second before he landed with a thud on the barely padded concrete, the champ was quickly reminded why he really should avoid using high risk moves...because more often than not, they blew up in his face.
Devastation rolled with the impact, coming to a stop laying on his side, groaning as he held his ribs with one arm and his head with the other. If one looked closely enough, they might be able to read Major's lips as he muttered to himself, "Well, that was stupid..."

Duality had a chance to take advantage of his vulnerable opponent, but he wasn't about to try and heave him around into the steel steps like he would a normal opponent. Instead he stuck to where he was most dangerous to him: flying.
Duality hopped up onto the apron, then sprang up to the top rope where he leaped off and attempted a huge moonsault onto his fallen opponent.

Major Devastation hadn't sufficiently recovered from knocking the wind out of himself when he idiotically tried to take to the skies, and wasn't able to react in time to avoid the moonsault and ended up having the air driven out of his lungs a second time, causing him to cough and wheeze as he tried to catch his breath. This situation was quickly starting to turn into a real ********.

Duality rolled to the side of Major and laid there like a broken doll for a moment, appearing as if he had taken equal damage. But soon after, he began to rise in a curious way, as if strings were pulling him back to his feet and not his own muscular will. Duality stood over Major for a moment, admiring his handiwork and turning his head at a grotesque angle, before sliding back inside the ring to save himself from the ringout count.

Hearing the referee's count quickly approaching the fatal 10, Major rolled himself over to the apron and used it to drag his carcass up to his feet and slid back into the ring just in the nick of time. His ribs hurt like hell, and he could barely breathe, but compared to some of the crap he had to deal with back during his time in the Marine Corps, this was a walk in the park.

Seeing as he was too close to the ropes to apply an effective submission, he'd use his time to try and lay in his boots to the back of Major's head.

The champ had just dodged a real bullet when he narrowly avoided getting counted out, but he was far from out of danger, as he quickly found out once Duality began laying into the back of his head with boot after boot.
Major covered up, trying to filter out some of the assault while he tried to get a feel for the timing of Duality's strikes. Once he felt he had the timing down, and five or six boots had hit home, Devastation would wait until his opponent raised his boot for another stomp and then attempt to sweep the luchador's other leg. If successful, he would then use the ropes to slowly pull himself back up to his feet, holding the back of his head with a visible grimace.
He was definitely going to have a helluva headache in the morning.
