Themis might have been able to hold out a few seconds more, really, but there was nothing that got him moving like someone in potential danger.
And so move he did - the effect stopped, but Themis crashed as hard as he could down the creature's side, hoping to set the senshi of medicine free. He knew what youma could do with their tails. They could fling you about and you couldn't do s**t about it.
He really hoped that it wouldn't happen.
One head came down for him, but he darted back, and then punched it hard - resulting in dust.
Only one more.

Asclepius stumbled to the side from the force of the youma's blow, and then another half-step back the other way into more underbrush as the other senshi jumped in to assist. She picked herself up and then realized that she was bleeding from a couple scratches on her cheek and arms, but was unsure where, in the last few seconds, she had picked them up.
No matter, and no time, really, though. Even if her ally had taken out another of the ugly heads. Just one more left, which meant, with any luck, only one more tail, too.
She did not even have a chance to wonder where it was before it came sweeping in low to the ground. Asclepius jumped it just in time, and caught the end of it as the monster lashed it upwards in an attempt to start another strike. At least it seemed to have slowed its motions down, with the loss of its other heads.
Bracing her heels as well as she could on the slightly soft ground, Asclepius held fast to the tail as the youma tried to tug it away from her, then yanked back as hard as she could.
"Please just die," she shouted to it, voice straining with effort.

Please just die. Yeah, Themis was in complete agreement.
But still, it was probably better to force fate's hand a little - with a rock as his makeshift weapon, he charged the remaining youma.
And then came the telltale cloud of dust, and the prayers of both senshi came true.
However, Themis' idea of celebration was to let himself flop on the ground like a dead fish to catch his breath. "The ********... was that."

The scaled tail in Asclepius' hands crumbled and flowed between her fingertips, and she took a deep breath and sighed as she let her arms fall to her sides. She leaned down to grab some of her trailing skirts, bringing the fabric to the cuts on her cheek to dab at them gingerly before she abruptly remembered the first-aid kid still on her back.
She walked over to the other senshi and crouched beside him, unzipping her backpack and removing the small case from it. "Are you alright?" she asked him, voice touched with some concern. "No idea what that was, other than a massive pain." The girl hesitated a moment, then asked, "Have you seen any others like that?" She dearly hoped the answer was no, and that it was their scarcity and not her inexperience that had made that one the first multi-headed youma she had encountered.
After unwrapping a clean-wipe, she scrubbed at the scratches on her arms, and winced at the sting of the disinfectant. "Oh, I'm Sailor Asclepius, by the way," she told him, realizing that the situation before had not left time for introductions. "Senshi of Medicine." She laughed once and added, "Do you need any bandages or anything? Since I carry them all with me?"

"No, I've never seen anything like that before." Hopefully this wasn't going to be commonplace... Themis finally pulled himself up from the ground to at least sit, not seeming to mind as leaves and pine needles clung to his long ponytail. "That was pretty ******** up... and the first time I fought so many youma in one go. You did really good, I would have been pretty ******** if you hadn't been here." The truth, really.
"I... hm." Was he hurt ? A damn good question, given that he was more or less covered from the neck down. A luxury that most senshi did not seem to have, especially the ladies. "Probably bruises if anything... The layers do a good work of absorbing shock."
Also did a good work of making him feel like a chicken roasting in a BBQ, he was slowly starting to notice. He would need to ditch his coat soon, really...
Senshi of Medicine. Fitting, given the kit she carried. "Do you need any help with that ? Oh, im Themis. Senshi of Noise."

Smiling a little, she nodded. "Yeah, glad you were there. I would not have been able to handle that myself." She flipped her disinfectant wipe over and flinched again as she dabbed at the scrapes on her cheek. "Not exactly the best magic for going out on my own, really, I guess."
Asclepius glanced back at him as he assessed his own injuries, but it seemed he was right. All the clothes, like he said. "That's good, at least," she added with a nod. "Wish sometimes I had a little more, but at least this is pretty comfortable." Shifting her weight from foot to foot, she glanced down at her outfit and shrugged. It had picked up its own fair share of leaf litter and small holes, too.
"Oh, and I think I'll be alright, thanks," the girl went on. "Nice to meet you, though." Summoning her phone, she raised it to scan Themis into her contact list. After a few moments, she asked, "Are you on a team or anything?"

He summoned his own phone in turn and scanned her in - she was certainly an ally worth keeping contact with, just in case he was in a pinch.
"Well, I just know im going to hate this in summer. But when it got cold as hell last winter ? I was pretty glad for it." Also the added protection.
Her last question was a touchy one, and it showed in his expression. "Ah, hmm... Well... Im not... actually too sure anymore if I am or not. Long story."
He didn't especially want to think about it.

Winter had not been terribly kind to the senshi in the short skirts, but at least on the other hand, jumping over rooftops did wonders to warm the blood. Not that she was particularly looking forward to the next cold snap, though.
"Oh, I'm sorry," she replied as he indicated his discomfort with her inquiry regarding teams. "I have heard about some of the various groups of senshi, but I'm really not tied to any, myself." Asclepius sighed a little, letting her arms hang at her sides, to give her stinging cheek a chance to cool off if nothing else. "Allies are certainly always welcome, though," she added with a small smile. "Call me if you ever need help, and I can at least try to assist."

"Yeah, same here. Call me if you ever have a need - I'll come over if I can." He forced himself to smile. She really had nothing to do with the whole thing, or the fact that he'd been more or less stranded - there was no reason to pull her into this at all, and so he wouldn't.
"I should probably go, through." Go check for bruises, if nothing else. "I'll see you around, hopefully ?"

Nodding, Asclepius stepped closer and offered a hand to help him up. "Well, hopefully we won't have need to call for reinforcements, really," she replied with a slight laugh. "But I know what you mean, and appreciate it. With any luck, we'll have a chance to run into each other without ... monsters to worry about.
"Nice to meet you, though, and I hope the rest of your night is not eventful."
