Echo sensed the return of her mate to the clearing. Another sound of hoof beats quickly followed. Her eyes flickered open as she took in her son's appearance before trying to raise her head to catch Dradneos's eyes. The mare locked her gaze on Drad briefly before it was obscured by Murmur's form as he laid his horn on her injured body. Time seemed to slow as her son worked on her injuries and Echo could feel the slashes knitting together as the passage of time continued onwards.
The time it took to fully rid the marks from her encounter seemed just as short as the time it took for them to disappear under her son's actions. Echo silently was impressed by Murmur's skill as he work. He must have been practicing. The pain had faded a long time ago and Echo turned her gaze to her side and saw that the marks were totally gone. As if they had never been there.
The clearing still bore signs of the attack as did her mane. But the wounds that the skinwalker had made had all but disappeared. Rising unsteadily to her feet Echo first moved to nuzzle Dradneos before turning to her son of unicorn blood. Considering his parentage he truly was a marvel.
"Thank you Murmur. We are lucky that you were near." Echo nuzzled her son with motherly affection before stepping to stand near Dradneos. "I'm sorry I didn't wait like instructed."

He shook his head and laid down next to her. "Hush, hush, you're safe now. Do not worry about it," he said, slipping the necklace around his neck onto hers. "Just rest now."
Murmur nodded and slipped to the side of the clearing to watch his parents quietly for the rest of the night.
