The youma turned its head as it heard the commotion, but its legs had still be working, pushing it forward. When it got to the lip of the rooftop, one would have naturally stopped, however, this rat creature seemed very slow to react. Instead of stopping, it literally charged itself off of the roof. A rather monstrous screech could be heard as it fell, and some unfortunate car was the landing pad for the creature as the sound of metal crunching could be heard from where they were at.
If they were quick enough, they could look over the edge and see as some black dust seemed to blow away on a breeze. That had been all that was left of the youma.
********* didn't need to look over the edge to know what had happened to the youma. They might have looked sturdy enough, but they rarely could survive such a fall. Casually, she hopped off the edge and padded up to the girl. In a caring manner, she nudged the girl's face as best she could.
"Are you okay? I'm sorry that things were crazy there for a bit..."

The new senshi gasped one last time, then looked up at the cat, who was, at the moment, upside down. The youma's scream echoed and then died, and Grus wondered what had happened to it. She twisted around and rolled onto her hands and knees.
She stared at the cat, eyes wide. "Ok..what the hell is going on?" She asked, feeling a little sick. "Where did this all come from? Who are you?" Her eyes traveled to the sleeves that slumped against her hand. "Why do I have this outfit?"

The cat tsked slightly in the girl's direction as the questions came tumbling out. They were actually very playful tsks, considering how things were going down at the moment.
"And here I thought I had introduced myself earlier. My name is *********." The girl was probably a bit overwhelmed and managed to forget this fact. She padded slightly closer to rub up against the girl's hand. "Let's see here... your other questions. A monster called a youma just tried to attack you. I am certain you could figure that much out. The Youma came from the Negaverse, but that outfit... that fuku...that was your own power in all honesty. And, the reason you have that outfit is because you are a Sailor Senshi. Simple as that."
The cat nodded her head slightly, seeming to find it okay to remain in place next to the girl's hand.

Grus still continued to stare at ********* in confusion. "A..fuku?" She repeated, picking at the feathers that adorned the bottom of her skirt. "And I'm..a Sailor Senshi? What the heck is a sailor senshi!?"
Her mind didn't seem to be working properly. Just when she thought she had a grasp on the situation, it slipped away "You mean, I'm one of those kids that has superpowers? The ones that have been wrecking the city?" She shook her head slowly. She couldn't have powers..or any kind. Castille was just simply went to school, played sports, had a big family...
She absentmindedly petted *********. It seemed to have a calming effect on her, and she took a deep breath, and then asked "Where did I get these powers? Did you give them to me?"

The manx was a very pet-able feline, who didn't seem to mind the girl's petting. She even let out a soothing purr, letting her know it was okay to keep going. If it helped out with the stress of realizing that they were senshi, then it was fine (plus it didn't feel too bad anyways).
"Only the careless ones wreck things... though cities are things that can be rebuilt. However... people are not so easy to replace or repair. Those are most frequently what the Negaverse targets." ********* had been around long enough to know that these were all pretty much facts. Though the specific targets for the Negaverse had changed, the resource was still the common folk of the city.
She shifted slightly under the girl's fingers as she asked one question that gave guardians more credit than they deserved. "Oh no, I didn't give you any powers. I awakened your potential. In all honesty, you've always had these powers sleeping inside of you. Think of me as an alarm clock. Just here to wake you up is all."

Grus stopped moving again. Even her fingers went still. She had always had the powers inside her? But she didn't feel them before. She always felt completely normal.
But what normal was that? Because right now, as strange and sudden as it was, she felt completely normal. Like this is how she should be. The fuku almost felt like a second skin to her now that she wasn't in full blown panic mode anymore.
She nervously twisted one of the chunks of hair that framed her face. "So..now I'm a senshi. With powers. What the heck am I supposed to do? You mentioned the Negaverse, are they the bad guys in all of this?"
Her mind went to a video game. It must be like that right? She was the heroine, and she had quests to do, and there were bad guys..now that she was calm Grus was starting to realize how much there could be in store for her. She could be a hero! She could save people!

The cat decided to put things into perspective. "Well... let's just say this... that monster that had just been up here. That is called a youma and the Negaverse is responsible for them." ********* would leave the girl to figure out the conclusions on her own.
"However, right now, I suspect what would be important is to get back down to the ground floor without incident." The spotted manx began to make her way towards the door for the rooftop access. "To change back to your everyday-self... just think about being back to normal, and you will change back."

Get down off the roof. Right. Considering a giant multi-legged rat just fell from said rooftop, it might be a good idea to make themselves scarce.
She bit her lip, then closed her eyes and thought. But what should she think about? What if she picked the wrong outfit, or wrong image of herself, and ended up younger? Or funny lookin? She supposed this magic was more sophisticated, and compensated for minor things like not remembering what shoes you were wearing before you changed.
Instead, she thought about her camera, and her favorite sweater, and putting her hair up in twin buns. She felt warm air, and movement, and when she settled again, she was back to her civilian self.
She followed the manx to the doorway, pulling on the handle the cat could not reach.

Rather than proceed forward, even though the door was now open, ********* glanced back to the girl. "You know, it would probably be better if you carried me until we were back at street level." That way, if anybody saw the pair, it would be less likely to bring about questions in regards to the cat. The cat, after all, would be assumed to be Castille's cat for the while.

"Right." She said, gingerly picking up the cat. "I guess that means no talking until we get somewhere...no one can see us right?" She nodded more to herself than *********, and walked down the stairs.
It was fairly strange to walk to the elevator holding a blue manx. She received a few stares and a couple whispers. Those were, of course, from the people not talking about the giant creature that just fell form the rooftop and turned to dust before their eyes on the sidewalk. But she made it outside without further incident, and rounded the corner where she was first kidnapped, letting the ********* down form her arms.
"So who do you belong to?" She asked.

People were staring at *********, but it probably didn't help that the cat stared back with wide green eyes. It was perhaps a bit daunting that the cat was looking back at them, and seemed to almost have this knowing glint in her eye. It was almost like the manx was silently scolding them "Didn't your mother tell you not to stare?"
However, her current steed escaped from the stares and whispers, soon enough placing ********* back on the ground. Her rump sat itself down and the feline tilted her head.
"I'd like to think I belong to myself, in all honesty." It was a fact she had someone in particular she was supposed to look over, but her responsibilities really made it so she was too busy to solely dedicate herself to just one. Senshi needed awakening. Her team needed guidance as they tried to sort themselves out. Being a Guardian Cat was a full time job times 10.

She leaned against the brick wall, feeling very tired.
"So you belong to no one? You don't have an owner?" She looked a little confused. "Then do you stay with other..senshi?" She asked, trying out the unfamiliar word.
"Just how many senshi are there in Destiny City?" She asked, thinking back to the news reports. They all seemed to describe a different person. She distinctly remembered a newscast saying that there were two highschool aged boys fighting in the park, while a newspaper report described a girl with dark skin and very long hair.
All of this information was taking it's toll. Her head was beginning to thrum a steady rhythm a low heartbeat in her right temple.

"Sometimes if I am feeling a bit run down, I suppose I do stay with other senshi." Her green eyes were upon the girl's eyes. It was only polite to look at the person you were speaking to.
"There are many senshi out there. More than you could count on your fingers and toes. Many many more than that." With a slight laugh, the cat lifted up her rump. It was time for her to go.
"...be sure to keep safe, alright?"

********* staring at her was a little unnerving. She wasn't used to being looked at so... intelligently by a cat.
"That many?" She said, disbelieving. There couldn't be that many of them right? And if there were that many senshi, how many Negaverse were there?
...And then she was going to leave "Wait! Your just going to leave me just like that?" She said, pushing away from the wall. Her heart started to beat faster, and her head was pounding in tandem.
"What do I do now?"

The cat paused in step, then glanced back, holding one paw in the air.
"Well, I do believe you probably had somewhere you were going as well before all of this happened. In all honesty, if you had any appointments, you are probably now late..." ********* words dwindled off slightly, as if attempting to make a point.
