Claire had a dream about ninja turtles. They were named after famous people. It was entertaining. She rolled around a bit in her sleep and started to snore.

Aksaja eyed the sleeping ghoul as his phone finally went off to signal a return message. Geez, maybe Malodore was busy or something. And really, the dragon wasn't entirely sure how badly hurt Claire was, if she could sleep like that.
Still, he sent a message back giving the doctor the general location of Claire's room. Maybe he could at least tell him if he definitely needed to take her to the nurse or something.

It took a little while for Malodore to make its way across campus, but it was well-versed in journeying to the demon dorms by now. It gave Riley's door a fond glance as it headed past, looking for Claire's room. The plague doctor hadn't ever met Claire in person, or at least it didn't think so. It knew she was a demon. It knew her spelling was... special. And that was about it.
When it finally located the proper door, it knocked. "Aksaja? Ah... Claire? Are you in there?"

Aksaja blinked at the sudden knock on the door, then grinned upon hearing the plague doctor's voice. Oh good, Malodore was here . . . now maybe things could get sorted out. Getting up, he padded over to the door and pulled it open.
"Hey, thanks for coming. Claire's over there. Still . . . asleep. I don't get it, really. We were uhm. Dancing, then there was this "crack" noise and she just fell over yelling about her ankle."
(( I think 'twould be Claire's turn next, I just figured Aksaja should open the door first and all. lol ))

Claire vaguely heard someone come into her room and this intrigued her. She woke up slowly and rolled her head to peer at 'Malerdore' who had just arrived. Then the pain of her ankle came back. Riley knew him so surely he knew what he was doing.
"Fix..." she murmured, feeling a bit drowsy

"Just dancing, and then... a crack?" Malodore tilted its head to one side as it entered. Well, it supposed it was possible for Claire to have had an injury exacerbated by too much physical movement... or perhaps very brittle bones. It peered past Aksaja to meet the demon's drowsy gaze. "Well, then."
It padded over to Claire's bed and put down its bag. "May I examine your ankle?" it asked, politely, not wanting to whip aside the bedcovers and have a look without permission.
((Also, tell me what I'm going to find - like is the ankle actually broken, etc! you can PM me if you don't want to post it publicly. So long as I know. n.n))

((broken, I guess? Honestly I don't mind :>)) "Yes you can having a look... You can have a looking... No, you can have a look..." Her mind was a bit mixed up and tired. "Are you the Riley man?" She murmured, trying to touch his mask. She guessed that he had been hurt many times, that's why he was in bandages. He must he hurting all over. Yes. Yes, that's why he was wearing a mask. To hide that he was crying because he was hurting.
Yes.

"The... Riley man?" Malodore tilted its head to one side, then leaned back slightly as she reached for its mask. "I know Riley, yes. Ah, please don't touch that... lie back and rest."
It carefully moved the bedclothes aside, revealing the limb in question. The plague doctor frowned inwardly at the sight - angry red and swelling, and a torque to the limb that reminded it slightly of Amrita. That wasn't a good thing. "Hmm. I will need to touch it to feel how the bone is. It will likely hurt," it said, apologetically. "May I do that?"

Aw... Claire wanted to touch the mask. Oh well.
She listened to the Plague Doctor talk about hurting and she let out a faint cry. She didn't like hurting! She figured, however, that she should be brave since 'Malingdoar' was hurting all over and she didn't want to be a wimp. "Okay you can do that I don't mind I am verrrrrrrrr good with pain."
Lies. Never not lies.

Malodore opened its beak in what it hoped was a reassuring smile. The demon's facade wasn't entirely convincing... but the examination did need doing, and the bones brought back into alignment if need be. The plague doctor removed a roll of bandages and a small splint from its sleeves, putting them down on the bed before reaching for Claire's ankle.
"Try not to move, please - it may make things worse," it said, as gently as possible, before touching the injury in question, feeling for the bones. Thankfully the break seemed clean...

Aksaja had moved over to one side once Malodore started his examination, though the dragon winced at the sight of her ankle. Now that he was looking again . . . it really did look broken. Ouch. "No more wild dancing for you for a while, I think," he murmured softly. He just hoped that the masked doctor could actually do something about this.
It was. Kind of his fault, after all. SORT OF.

Claire looked dramatically at Aksaja while Maladore looked at her ankle. "No more dancing?" She asked sadly. She cringed at the thought of not being able to dance with Riley FOR SO LONG. A broken ankle. DISASTER. "Aksaja, I may die right now... Promise me one thing, okay? Never give up your dancing. Star like a shine or whatever... Yeah." She put her hand into a super overly dramatic position on her forehead like she was going to faint and die... Or something. She watched too many demon dramas.

"You aren't going to die, I promise," Malodore said, even as it busily splinted the break and began winding the bandages around the whole thing, trying to assess if it needed a cast or not... if it did, Cricket would have to be consulted. It didn't have the supplies to do such things.
"No dancing for a little while. And you should probably walk with..." Crutches. Damn. It didn't have those either. The plague doctor straightened up after binding Claire's ankle tightly. "Some form of support. Honestly, you should speak with Nurse Cricket. She has more resources than I do, and if this heals badly you could end up with mobility issues."

"She glows." Claire said seriously to Maladore. "But don't tell her, she might not know." quieter this time, in case the nurse could hear. She thought for a moment that the annual meeting of doctors would take this opportunity to meet in her dorm while she was hurt. That was totally going to happen! Is there even an annual meeting of doctors? And why would they meet in Claire's dorm? LOGIC IS NOT WELCOME HERE.
"DON'T LET THE DOCTORS IN, MERLADOAR!!!"

Malodore blinked, and wondered for a moment if the girl was delirious... but no. That was ridiculous. Nobody entered a state of delirium from a broken ankle. It was scientifically impossible.
"The only doctor in here is me," it said, as gently and soothingly as possible.
