Cody looked at Ruby softly but then looked at the bowl of berries and crackers but then he looked at her, "Your forest... um, well I got separated from my friends and fell down a cliff into this area of the forest..." he said softly.

 "Yes I noticed your wounds." she said. "I figured you didn't cause those intentionally to yourself. I nursed them as gently as I could." she shifted a bit and sat back on a part of her tail, which slowly slithered around and made itself comfortable by coiling up behind her halfway in the light.

Cody looked at her but when she shifted, he saw a bit as she then went and noticed that she had shifted a bit but then he down seeing movement but then saw part of her tail, "What the!?" he asked looking at her, "You... you have a tail!?" He asked a bit shocked, seeing enough of her tail in the light.

"Hmm?" Ruby blinked and looked back at what he was staring at. "Oh yes. All nagas have tails." she said and lifted herself up a bit, towering over him at least a foot and a half. "I'm part snake."

Cody looked at her surprised, confused, and curious, "Your... your a naga... but I thought that they weren't real!?" he asked confused.

Ruby giggled a bit. "Of course they're real." she says, then her smile fades a bit. "But....most were hunted and killed. Either for their scales or because people thought they were vicious creatures." she looked down at the floor with a sad look.

Cody looked at her but then he felt really bad for being afraid, "That sounds horrible... I am sorry that anyone would do that." he said thinking that it was horrible that if they are as kind as her then humans seem to be the monster.

~Sorry! Kind of busy. >w<~ Ruby looked up at him with a half-hearted smile. "Yea....but I'm used to being alone." she said and looked down at his bowel. "Are you going to eat that? Because if not I can get something else. I just didn't know what your kind ate."

Cody looked at her, but then looked at the bowl and ate a bit, "No, its fine." He said kindly, he actually liked berries so he didn't mind eating them. He looked at her softly, "You know... you don't have to be alone all the time." He said softly.

Ruby smiled a bit and sat back on her coiled up tail. "I've sort of gotten used to it....I mean not a lot of people just walk up to a naga and try to befriend them." she said.

Cody looked at her, thinking about it, "Well still... and I am sorry for having reacted as I did..." He said softly but then looked at her, "I could be your friend if you want." he said softly.
