"My name's Kaci and I'm just trying to help you out." She told him and looked at him slightly wary. "Are you alright?" she asked him trying to keep her scaly tail out of sight from his view for now.

Cody looked at her, "Cody... and Im not feeling very well..." He said softly, his body felt weak, and his arm hurt a bit from the cut but that was about it.

Kaci looked at him and took a deep breath, "Well let's get you inside then." She sighed and slithered out of the water revealing her tail to him and then went over to the entrance to her hut. "Come on inside when you're ready and we can get you something to eat." she told him and then went inside without another word or waiting to see his reaction.

Cody looked at her when she slithered out of the water, he saw her tail but then he looked at her when she went inside, he tried getting up but he looked at the hut, "Did... did she have a tail..." He asked himself confused but softly and slowly got up, and walked weakly to the hut and walked inside.

Kaci looked up from what she was doing as he walked in. There was a chunk of bread and some cheese on a shelf, that she used as a counter and she pointed to them, "Help yourself I'm afraid I haven't gone hunting too recently." she told him. She moved a bit away in case he was freaked out by her tail.

Cody did look at her tail again but then he looked at her, "You have a tail..." He said softly, not really freaking out but seemed curious, it just seemed interesting or he had lost enough blood that he wasn't thinking at 100%.

"Yes, I have a tail..." she told him simply and moved it around a bit, "It's real. You can touch it if you don't believe me." she said smiling slightly at how he seemed to be so disbelieving. "But you might want to eat something. Go ahead."

Cody looked at her tail, but then he looked at the food, guessing that it was a better idea that he had something to eat first, he walked over and got the bread from the shelf.

Kaci leaned back against the wall and looked at him as he grabbed the bread. "So how did you end up in this forest anyways? And what happened to make you so injured?" she asked him curiously hoping he wouldn't take offense in her questioning him.

Cody looked at her, he leaned against the wall that he was by but then he sat down on the ground, "I was camping with a few friends when a tree fell and almost killed me but I got out of the way and fell down a cliff... getting lost.

"Oh...well there's really no easy way back up there if that's what you're thinking of doing. Especially with those injuries." she told him simply and coiled up her tail and began to braid her hair.

Cody saw her coil up but then thought about it, "How long have you been living out here?" He asked curiously.
