"The White Moon Kingdom has done a spectacular job of making a bad name for themselves, which extends to us." She tapped the scarred, atrocious scar in the center of her chest, framed by the neckline of her low-dipping fuku. "Humans have killed off a large portion of their senses, they don't know how to differentiate between us and them."
She sighed and shrugged a little at that thought and slumped back into the comfortable, embracing cushions of the couch. Something about her seemed suddenly tired, not just because she was stressed and worried, but it was something.. legitimately exhausted about her.
When Lyra asked if she could teach her to teleport, she smiled and opened one eye to look at her. "I can, just not today." She opened her other eye and sat up a little, leaning against the couch arm a little so that she could be closer to Lyra.
"Rule number one: You have a limited amount of teleports and they drain a huge portion of your energy." She reached a hand up and rubbed tiredly at her face, the smile still there, but just barely. "I can do it comfortably about twice, then I need a long nap. You could probably do a bit more once you got the hang of it."
