"Anywhere is fine with me? Though 'Listen.. i know their a salvation army around but...i don't remember how to get there sooooo' is such a long name." He eyebrows drew together in wonder. "Youd think people would never remember that length of name!"
"... Honestly, Zac. You are being so nice i dont mind wearing your clothing. Im not picky... and augh rules. Do i have to?" She teased.

He was trying hard not to laugh. "Sorry, Listen is a store... and Salvation Army is another." He corrected "Remembering how to get there is just a problem i'm having right now."
He chuckled softly. "My fault for letting my thoughts run together, I'm sorry about that." he shook his head and then continued. "Besides, you need your own things, they will fit better for one thing, and then you can pick what YOU like... and yes, there will ALWAYS be rules." he laughed.
"Besides, it's not like if you are CAREFUL, you can't skirt curfew and keep 'working' in the evenings, just so long as you don't wear yourself out too much." he nattered like a very very young parent.

"Why my dear Zack are you suggesting i break rules?" She suggested with a fake gasp, followed by a short laugh and a rolling of the eyes. "First making fun of my ignorance and then telling me to skip curfew, going to turn me into a delinquent just yet." She was teasing the entire time, hopeful he could tell.
She chewed her lip some. " For some things i ah, think ill need to shop for on my own." She looked away for a moment. Yes.... Zac was gay. No, she did not want to undergarment shop with him.
"...Pants would be good. I've never heard of listen... salvation army rings a bell, but. Can we...at least look around this 'listen'?"

"Err..." he said turning pink after he realized what she was talking about, no, no those shouldn't be second hand any more than the shoes. "N...no, those can defiantly be you." He agreed glancing quickly away. "We'll um...we can get those when we get shoes too, like um... pay-less and uh... All-mart maybe." He said trying not to turn a classy shade of purple.
"um..YES...so Listen! Yes let's go to Listen..." He flushed and glanced at the street signs before heading out to find his way to the little shop. "Some of the fellows who were graduating were mentioning it...said it was a good place to get things for pretty cheep... so um... when we get there, brows and we'll find some things to try on so we kinda know what size you need and things!"

She couldnt help it, she too was turning pink. Siblings, they DID have something in common after all. "Yes... browsing. I know one thing, no offense... i think i wear a smaller size than you." She laughed, poking down towards the rolled up pants.
The walk was brisk and they arrived what felt like only minutes later. Walking in to the store it smelt... well. Like old socks and mold. Most thrift stores did.
"Ohmygod its huge!" She said, eyes wide. Looking towards the 'girls' section.... she was surly petite due to her height.

"It's only huge if...we find something..." He said staring around skeptically... though he did let his gaze wander towards a few bathrobes hanging on the wall. SHE needed one for sure... but maybe they had one that was a better fit for him too...
"Okay..." he said and steered her towards the "P" sign for petite. "Lets um...start here, I think for skirts it won't matter so much but for pants it will, um... look around look at shirts... tell me what you think you like and we can ahh...go from there."
yeah... he had no idea what he was doing.

Nodding she went down a isle or two and started to look through the shirts. Eyes narrowing for a moment, she called over to Zac. ".....Im unsure what size i am afterall." Taking a shirt, she pressed it against herself and looked down. "... I guess this is too big." The shirt would have swallowed her whole.
Putting it back, she picked up a few other things... simple white shirt, black tank top, etc.
"...Hey Zac what is this?" Holding up the object, it looked something like a strip of cloth... a 'tube top' as it were.

"..." he stared at it for a long horrified moment before replying. "Not... something we're getting." which wasn't so much an explanation as a statement.
He flipped through a display of 'hoodies' searching for ones that he thought would suit her. Sadly, nothing with red-pandas but perhaps that was to be expected. He did find a white one with rainbow splatters that he unhooked and took over to her. Somehow it was still hard to imagine her in black.

"Ooooh i love the colors on that one!" She peered at the hoodie. Reaching out she felt the material. "Its so warm." She marveled for a moment, before putting the tube top back and holding up a array of other clothing. "Would this be ok? Might want to try them on..."
Without waiting so much for an answer, she snagged the hoodie away from Zac and headed over towards the changing rooms. Pausing along the way she picked up a pant size or two.
A minute or two later, she emerged wearing a solid red T-shirt and khaki bottoms that came to just below her knees. Rather self consciously she pulled the hoodie on but left the front open. "....Um?"

"Do you like it?" He asked in return to her 'Um', after all... wanted her to be able to make her own choices. "If you like it then we can get it ..." He nods. "Do they fit ok? You can bend and stuff without worrying?"
He looked her over for the fit of her shirt - good and loose, to her pants - not falling off, so that was good.

"Some of the stuff in there was way too big... this was the most comfy." Turning around she looked in the mirror a moment. Turning sideways, she even bent down to touch her toes. Still bent over, she looked at him upside down. "Everything seems to fit ok, i guess this is what size i wear. Though some of the others were similar sized but way too small..." Clothing shopping was confusing!
"I do like these though!"

"Alright let me grab a basket and we'll see if there are other things you like that fit..." He said with a satisfied nod. "Put your stuff back on while I get the basket..."
He made a note to count what was left in his pocket too... some of the clothing was pretty reasonable but some of it made his heart skip, and he'd be as well off just getting it new from a box store.

Without another word she turned around, closed the door, and switched clothing again.
Moments later emerging in Zac's clothing, she held the three objects draped over her arm. Turning her gaze, she caught sight of another shirt she pulled off the shelf. It was a long, and semi frilly skirt. Eying it some she pressed it against her hips, it would fit....

He fumbled with the bills in his hands, folding them into order and then tucking them away again, deducting the current costs and glancing at the skirt before nodding quietly. "That works..." He said and chewed at his lip before reaching to check the tag.
He nodded and then glanced quietly at the section with the used shoes.
Maybe...just one pair. He snuck over and picked through to see if he could find some that didn't look too abused or smell too much like feet.
"Um... Hey!..." he called. "I... just till we can get some new ones, come have a look ok? Let's ah...lets see what fits."

"Zac." She said, walking towards him and grabbing some of his shirt and tugging. The stuffed animal was still with her... just grasped in her other arm. "Zac are you sure we can afford these things? I- i feel like i am taking all your money. What we have here is ok. Its summer so, i dont mind wearing sandals." She wiggled her toes with a smile. Making a grasp for his wrist, she attempted to move him away from the shoes.
She really needed to find a source of income... she wondered if the little store below Evers apartment needed a waitress. Or dishwasher.
