Alexis smiled, "It's fine, I forgot to mention it." She chuckled as she watched the children occasionally flitting around. Her skirt swishing almost as if she was dancing while helping children.

She paused when she twirled back over to Sam laughing, "Oh, do try not to get too much on your hands dear. They don't make very good wax hands." She said with a giggle.

"It'll take till next class to dry sadly. But don't worry I have another exercise when everyone gets finished!" She paused looking at his balloon, "Heh, actually there's a small weak spot right here dear. You don't want his head squishy. He's not a zombie after all~"

She paused when another teacher showed up. She smiled, "Oh well hello Ms. Lily, how're you?" She asked as she swished over to pull out different paints. "Is pink the color you need? Or is there some other colors you wanted?" She asked curiously as she had some different other paints tucked away in a cabinet as she pullet open a door. There was probably any kind and color of paint you'd want. There were even a few glow paints tucked away at the top out of reach of the children.

-She'd turned away for only a moment.. and when she turned back Sam and Max were playing as boys often did, sticky digits waving dangerously near Max's clothing and skin. As Ms Bailey occupied herself helping the other teacher Aurora kept herself occupied with the boy's playing. She could see a few of the other children in the class turning from their work to see what was going on, a few snickers meeting the sound of tearing paper and squeaking rubber.-

"Oh dear, be careful..!" -Aurora piped up, stepping so close she was practically hovering over Sam.- "It's so difficult to get glue out of your hair, and it would feel horrible if you accidentally go some in each others eyes" -She'd never been a yeller just to yell, but guilt tripping, that worked sometimes.-

Having her fair share amount of pink slips to her name, Ridley really expected to be called out to to follow Billy for what she had said to get this whole thing started. Color her surprised when her name was only brought up to gather with some of the other girls to continue working on their math worksheets. Maybe it was because she had kept quiet for the rest of it, but not like she was going to miss this opportunity to not have to go to the principal's office for the day so no point in arguing.

With a smile on her face, and not giving much thought to which table she was being sent to, Ridley gathered her worksheets and pencil and nearly skipped to the new table. A new set of work partners, awesome! Getting to the table took really no time due to her excitement and she took her seat with gutso to get a good look at the other girls before they got back to work. And she blinked and finally realized who was all here.

Ashley she knew from grade two, having been a desk neighbor with her. They weren't close but she knew she was pretty smart about things and would be an awesome help with all this, especially math. The cornflower haired girl was the girl she had defended, kind of ... and seemed like she wanted to sink into the floor. And the only thing she remembered about her was her bringing her bear to school. Which brought her to Ainsley, a name she only remembered since she was still new and it was still fresh in her mind. And ... her bunny doll. "Oh, you're the ones with the stuffed animals," she stated a little disappointed. Man, they were so lame.

It was unfortunate that Billy had to go to the principal's office and Ainsley waved to him. She couldn't say she was sad to see him go, after all the fuss he had made, but she hoped he wouldn't get into too much trouble. After four months in the same class with Billy the child had become a little fond of boy, like a dirty animal on the street that would attack you. It was scared, and really helpless after you looked past its defensive behaviour, quickly tuning out his bunny-hating tongue out of sound and out of mind. Surely she could help him one of these days.

If it was one thing Ainsley was good at, it was missing the subtle tones when people didn't entirely approve. So when Ridley sat down with Istas, Ashley and herself and then mentioned Octavian Oswald her bunny, she was thrilled. She had made a new friend already. Making friends was something the child had been severely missing out on in the past and she wasted no time doing so now. With a smile, the child said, "Stuffed bunnies, bunny. His name is Octavian Oswald -- he's actually a prince. He's happy to meet you, as am I. Bunnies are my favourite animal, although I really like cats too. I have a really adorable cat, and before I got her I met a cat with no tail sleeping in the snow. I took her home, fed her lots of food, and tucked her into bed but after I woke up she was gone... I was sad."

The child did it again, her hands slowly coming up to cover her mouth. She could talk forever when it was about animals. She allowed herself to take a moment and pause before she quietly continued, "Do you like animals?"

Meanwhile as she was talking and waiting for Ridley to reply, she was looking at the worksheet. 8*6... that was one one multiplication that the child always seemed to forget. What was it? The child seemed to stare hopelessly at it before she slowly pulled the paper up to show the three other girls. She was so embarrassed that she didn't remember what it was but slowly she pointed to it and said, "D-do you guys remember this one?"

Istas watched Billy go. He was mad, she frowned and tried to do her best not to actually sink in the floor. It was when Ridley made the comment and Ainsley started blabbing that Istas frowned, "Ainsley stop it she doesn't like him, she just like Billy thinking he shouldn't be brought to school..."

Istas paused, hearing something about a Tailless cat, she frowned, was the girl talking about *********? Looking at Ainsley she shook her head, impossible she thought since even she couldn't get ********* to come home with her, it must've been another tailless cat.

She sighed, "Plus you're going to get us in trouble for being off task." She was looking at her work sheet but it was rather hard to focus when she'd almost gotten in trouble too. Istas was too busy staring at the worksheet to hear Ainsley's question or Amber's answer to it. Doing the ones she could think of off the top of her head she was trying to ignore their teacher, since it felt like he was watching them.

These fantastical stories about a stuffed bunny would have probably been understood by a much younger Ridley, but the nine year old version of herself didn't. It was two older rough and tough brothers who squeezed that sort of thing out of her when they figured she was old enough. So, of course she didn't like it like Istas suggested, but instead of getting angry at the ridiculous tale she had been told she fell into a fit of giggles.

"That's so stupid," she finally managed before giggling again. She wrapped her arms around his middle as her sides were beginning to hurt. "He's a stuffed animal, how can he be a prince? Is he cursed or something?" What a silly thought! And the fact he was pleased to see her, aha! This new girl was a wacko who talked to dolls apparently.

After calming down a moment, Ridley wiped at her eyes from the forming tears. "Cats are so much cooler than bunnies any day." Well, hopefully that answered Ainsley's question. "And listening to her stupid story is better than having to do all this math." No giggles this time, but there was a very wide pleased smile.

Obviously she missed the connection of a tailless cat and it possibly being *********.

Ainsley was obviously the black sheep here but it seemed to go right over her head. They were both her friends and she had even made one laugh! That was always a good thing, it meant they were happy, right? She looked at Ridley laughing and smiled. She decided she had done a very good thing.

Stupid story was not a foreign subject to the child, however she had not heard it in quite some time. She felt herself missing the library, and the librarian Mr. Darrow, who would always listen to her stories. She couldn't wait for school to be over so she could go there! Eyes lingering on the clock at the front of the classroom, she tried to will the time to move forward. No luck, and so her eyes fell back on Ridley and Istas.

It wasn't all bad. Ridley liked cats, and Ainsley smiled at that. It meant they had a common interest! She wasn't going to argue about bunnies and cats when they were both wonderful so she just smiled.

Her stories couldn't continue forever though and when she tried to do her work like Istas had wanted, she wouldn't help. She could hear the tick of the clock in the background and with each tock her lips moved just a bit until they formed a bit of a frown while she focused on the fact Istas seemed to be ignoring her plea for help. She was her friend, was it? Not only that, but the teacher told them to work in groups! Ainsley didn't like that, not one bit. Istas had come out of her shell sooner or later and Ainsley was stubborn and wasn't going to be ignored quite so easily. She picked up her piece of paper and dropped it on top of Istas' paper, pointing to the question she had mentioned earlier.

"He said to work together," was all she said with a smile to her friend.

He hadn't been waiting for that long... ten minutes.. maybe fifteen tops. But it seemed an eternity to Ukenite his fingers nervously loosening and tightening. They were coming right? Sassolite and Chromite.. They weren't off somewhere laughing about how they'd pulled a fast one on him.. right? He bit his lower lip gently as he glowered at that thought.

His weapon appeared in front of him, and he leaned against the small jackhammer subconciously. For someone else it might have been a good weapon, but for him with his paltry arm strength it was as much a hinderance as it was dangerous. He could hardly lift the equipment and it was so noisy.. He almost preferred the pogostick he'd began with. Almost... He couldn't deny the usefulness of creating potholes for senshi to trip up in, or the rare occassion in which he could knock one to the ground and then use it.

From behind him a creature of darkness slide into the light, seemingly pulled forward by his master's worry and fretting. The captians youma's could feel all the precious energy beneath their feet and for a moment seemed torn between sticking around or going and reeking havoc of it's own. In the end it settled by his feet, waiting patiently like a good youma would for his master's direction.-

xxxxxMs. Lily hesitated for a moment with the question asked of her. She really should get back to the students, so they could continue their magical experiment about the ocean. She thought to their eager faces all waiting expectantly for her to come back and start class. How disappointed they would be if she didn't come back.

xxxxxThe draw of different colored paints was just too much though. What if there was some purple sparkly paint like the one she had left at home? Truthfully, Ms. Lily loved science, but messy projects were her favorite part about elementary school. She loved kids of course, but she really wanted to be an elementary school teacher because of the ability to throw paint and gunk all over and not be judged for it. Of course, it meant a lot of afterschool hours cleaning up her classroom, but in the long run it was worth it.

xxxxxMs. Lily shrugged, giving in to her inner child and said, "Sure, what d'you have to show me Ms. Picasso!" She laughed a sort of shrill jingle bell laugh. She was sure she would find some spectacular paint to thrill the children with. Besides, Mr. Garrow- her bored sort of student teacher- was there in the classroom with them, so they were safe. Nothing would happen anyways; it was an elementary school, not a prison after all!

xxxxxShe looked around the classroom at all the students as the teacher helped a few confused students. The smell of paper mache was everywhere, that sort of floury goopy substance spilled out on the tables in some places where the children had sloppily dropped some of it due to lack of skill. She smiled at all the children; they were all so innocent and new to the world. She loved children at this age.

xxxxxShe smiled and said, "Ah, Alexis if you need to attend to your class, I can really just take this pink, it's fine." She really didn't want to interrupt such a fun lesson.

He couldn't keep waiting.

The longer he waited around the greater chance someone would happen to look up and see him. If he waited too long the bell might even ring that would send all the children outside. And THAT was no good either, too much chaos, too high a chance of them running.

Ukenite was suddenly aware that his lip hurt from how hard he was biting it and a large sigh rattled through his chest as he let out the air he'd been holding captive in his lungs.

Was it possible to do an energy drain from a distance? From a distance and through a barrier? You hold onto the fickle energy in your hands so could that even go through a barrier? He doubted it, and his failed attempt was so fleeting he silently thanked the fact that the ladies weren't here to see him try it.

Maybe he could come back and try again tommorow.. or some other time. Eventually. Just not now. Just not alone...

His heart was beating in his head, and he turned his gaze searching the horizon for signs of reinforcements. The chortle of the creature beside him drew back his attention with a snap eyes widening at what he saw.

Over the ledge a dark figure appeared, pulling itself up onto the roof before approaching the pair. A regular youma? He tensed momentarily, as if frightened it might attack him. But of course that was silly. It seemed it had been attracted by the dark energy of his own youma, Shmeol, and perhaps the large beacon of life energy that resided within the school. It regarded Shmeol momentarily before turning it's attention towards the roof, the two restless youma beginning to beat at the roof that stood in their way.

There was no turning back. Even if he could control his own personal youma the wild one would surely cause trouble here. Not enough trouble to be useful but enough that his chance might be forever ruined if those stupid senshi started sniffing around. It was do or die time, and Ukenite could hardly believe it when he actually flicked the button that sent the small piece of machinery beneath his hands to life.

Concrete chipped below his weapon, the churning bam bam bam bam echoing for him and in the room directly below his feet. The youma pounded the ground in excitement, only helping to splinter the concrete and wood structure, causing tiny pieces of plaster to begin to begin to shiver and then fall in the classroom beneath him.

When finally a full fledged hole opened in the ceiling Captian Ukenite simply smirked in delight and pride at the confused and curious young faces that peered back up at him.

The youma didn't bother waiting for an invitation, Shmeol diving at the hole as soon as it appeared, his clawing body helping to widen the hole as he finally slipped through. If the children of the teacherless science class weren't confused and terrified enough by the situation the triumpant roar of the youma split through the room. The young screams only seemed to delight the duo of youma as each lurched at different groups of children.

----------------------------

When the strange sound had began Josh hadn't given it much thought, still too busy drawing his pencil in lazy little lines along the edges of his homework folder. When Katey had yelped as a dime sized piece of plaster tapped her head and surprised her, he had simply watched curiously, joining the murmmers of his classmates. Someone needs to go get Ms Lily! Beth had insisted. Somehow Josh had been the one drafted. Little did he know what good luck that was.

Making his way to the art room, he peered in through the door, calling out immedately, seemingly unbothered by the prospect of interupting her. "Something's wrong with the roof Ms Lily"

"It hit Katey and it's making noise." What? This seemed like a good enough explanation to him. No clarification needed.

------------------

-Sheer curiousity of the boy's 'story' was enough to make Aurora follow Ms Lily and Josh. She didn't wait to see if Ms Alexis had wanted her to say, imaging that the other teacher would also be responding to the strange situation.

Their quick steps became a full out run as the peace and tranquility of the school hallways was split by the screeching of young voices and the all too familar roar of youma.

When they reached the door to the classroom they were greeted with chaos, desks upturned, children everywhere. Some cowered in corners, others ran as something dark and large persued them in the tiny circle of space the classroom offered. One dark hand caught little Beth's leg, sending her a few feet through the air, her voice like the wail of a police siren as she soared the short distance.

It was horrifying.. So much so that Aurora found herself locked in place in disbelief and horror for a few long seconds before she stepped back from the doorway and the teachers who had began to gather and respond to the noises. She didn't bother looking for a bathroom, stopping only once she'd rounded the nearest corner, only half assedly bothering to make sure noone else was there.

Powered up she gripped her phone, pounding at it in a fashion quite similar to a time long ago.. when she'd watched the carnage of the alien tree unfold helplessly. Astrea hadn't answered her call then. But it wasn't a cat she was calling now.

A bulletin shot out to senshi cellphones in the near area, the simple and ambigious message: Help. Knightside school. HELP and the bleep of Super Sailor Polaris' power signature on the built in GPS.

The phone was thrown, disappearing back into the subspace in which it had come from before it hit the resistance of the wall or ground, and booted feet slapped through the hallways as she made her way back towards the room.-

George had heard many things in his years working here, the sounds of kids cheering loudly at classmates birthdays, children screaming as they clung to the legs of parents on the first day, he'd even heard children fighting and girls crying about hair being pulled. He had never heard the screams he heard now.

It was the sound you'd hear in a hospital from a child in true pain, or truly scared. That sound which cut through anyone who was a parent, it seemed no matter who's child made the sound it cut at every parent. He was no exception, being a father of three himself.

The idea that students, as it had to be multiples, were in that sort of pain and that scared sent the man off. His job of cleaning forgotten he took off, the swiffer he'd been using in hand.

A few weeks back one of the other janitors, Jackson, had come in raving about how good the product worked at home. His wife had finally gotten herself one, it seemed she'd done so after seeing it in action at her sisters home over the weekend. That was when he'd gone and used his own money to purchase enough for everyone here who was part of the cleaning staff. And he'd stocked up on pads for them.

He didn't know what awaited him, nor did he much care, he had children to save! That thought firmly in mind he came running down the hall, steel toed boots hitting the floor harshly. The man was glad for his good health right now. The run to the science room was nearing it's end, he could see the door insight and two teachers standing there.

"What's going on?!" The Swiffer was raised, he would see how good of a weapon it made if it came down to it.

Jenna was one of the children in that classroom. Honestly all had been going well today, until now that is. She'd woken up, a little later than usual, and had breakfast before promptly getting prepared for school, with her big brothers slight rushed help. He always liked to help her, and encourage her to have a good day in school and to tell him all about it when she got home.

Agreeing, as she did ever morning, she went off to school on the bus where she sat with Sam. Sam wasn't a boy, Sam was short for Samantha. Samantha's mother was friends with her mother, had been for a long time, it's how they'd met and become good friends.

Talking about the sleep over they wanted to have, provided they could talk there mothers in to the idea, on Saturday. They could make cupcakes and cookies, Sam's mother was the better of the two mothers with baking, and watch movies and maybe they could go out for ice cream.

This was what they'd been whispering about when the banging had started. At the shout of surprise, from Katey, there whispering had changed to that of the roof and the banging sound. The two girls, sitting close to Katey, had gotten up and started to edge away from the area. Both keeping close to each other they got closer when the roof opened up and something came in and let out a horrible sound.

Shaking and terrified Jenna held tight to her friend before the chaos started and they joined in on running around the room, trying to out run whatever it was inside of the room. It was like two shadows that had somehow come to life. Though that made no sense, it wasn't even possible. Her brother had told her so, when she'd been very young and asked after watching Peter Pan.

-The door to the classroom swung open as a pair of students reached it, fleeing into the hallway, and as the door began to swing shut it suddenly splintered outwards off of the the hinges, heavy wooden door crashing onto the tile floor. The force was enough to stun the youma that had gone through it for a moment, but not more then a breath's time before the dark creature roared once more and resumed it's attack.-

There was a rumbling sound that echoed across the structure of the building, even enough to cause a shutter in the third grade class room where the three girls were located. It was short and quick though, escaping most of the children's notice. Ridley's eyes glanced to the ceiling, taking her attention from her ridicule of Ainsley and her fairy stories about bunny princes and the math at hand. She didn't really know what it could have been, so she just shrugged and frowned down at the papers below her on the table. Math sucked.

A little flitter of music soon jiggled in the air from some distance away, startling the orange hair girl and making her eyes go wide. Her phone? Oh crap, she could have sworn she had turned that off! And she wasn't at her desk to catch it. Too many lectures over her phone had taught her to keep it hidden and on silent. Without saying a word to the other girls, she nearly ran to her assigned cubby and began to shift through her bag.

Thankfully their teacher was momentarily distracted by a call from the classroom phone. He seemed a little more than preoccupied with the news he was hearing and his instructions.

So, Ridley kept digging until her hand grasped the heavily encased iphone to check if there were any alerts. Maybe from one of her games? Her family knew better than to text her during school hours unless there was an emergency. Which didn't seem to be the case as the lockscreen seemed empty of any notifications. Puzzled, Ridley began to put the phone back until she caught the gleam of that other phone. The boring phone, the not so cool phone she was given recently and was not too pleased with and obviously forgot about. Placing her cooler phone back in its place, she pulled the heavily orange one out to see in bright letters across the screen of - duh - a cat, Polaris' message of warning.

She didn't get the whole business of power signatures and all, but a senshi - a word she also didn't get - was asking for help from her school and that at least meant something. With grabbing her transformation pen, Ridley shot out of the classroom, again not saying a word, and ran into the hall blind.... not knowing exactly where she was even going.

There was a roar that echoed in the halls, but still Ridley had no idea where to go. "Uh ...."

Alexis nodded, "I'm sure, any color that you're looking for?" When the noise started reaching her ears and then a child came... Aurora followed instantly, Alexis paused looking at her class. She couldn't leave the kids. She grabbed a broom that she just happened to keep in the corner to occasionally help clean up messes that they make, she didn't want George to have to deal with ALL the glitter her classes used or anything else super messy. Closing the door behind Aurora.

"Kids under the desks. Sam can you make sure the window blinds are closed. I'm going to turn off the lights." She could make it look like they weren't there. No one entered a class room that looked empty did they? She pulled the blind and turned off the lights. "Quickly!"

Most children did as they were told, some protested they wanted to know what was going on and why their lesson was interrupted. She paused to think, before running to try to move her desk in front of the door. She could barricade them in if she could get the desk to move. The closet's door in the back of the room was wide open.

-----

Istas' senshi phone was hidden away in her desk, when it gave a small cry. Istas looked around, butter yellow eyes startled before pulling it out to check what the message was. She saw help, and Kinghtside. Stuffing her phone in her sweater pocket she took off. "Sorry I have to go the bathroom!" She blurted out at her teacher, "I guess Ridley did too."

She didn't stop to see if he gave her any sort of permission. She'd noticed the rumble just moments before and was hoping it wasn't actually anything bad. However, when in Destiny.... Istas was tearing around to the bathroom past Ridley.

Lucky for the girls, if they actually planned to use it, the bathroom wasn't that far away. "Hug-bell Power, Makeup!" She didn't bother being quite about it. As soon as she transformed into the yellow clad bear hooded senshi of comfort she was running. Yellow and blue platform shoes pounded on the floor as she moved, sliding to a stop in front of Ridley, "I don't know what you're planning on doing but you might want to get somewhere safe." She said with a frown, hoping the other would take her seriously specially with Barnaby held in her left arm. She pulled out her phone again to see where the signature was coming from.
