Huuuuuhuhuhu *snorts and giggles* her being very poor at riddles makes me so very excited for her to torture the riddler in Cat. He would SQUIRM at something like the example XDD

Aside from that I don't really have anything that I think you need to fix :'D good luck with her, I love her species so much!

You say like you feel as though something might be missing from her but honestly... Cady seems like an extremely well thought out and developed concept. None of her characteristics clash against each other which is something I see a lot in characters that are just forming in personality (it takes a bit to sort them out and figure out which way they are actually going without making contradictions).

I love her personality. I love her CONFIDENCE. I love that you pointed out that she's not afraid to sound stupid because she's so confident... that to me just puts the gold luster on the whole thing. She truly IS a confident person and not just that slightly shallow trying to appear confident but secretly is broody and unsure of herself kind of archetype.

I suppose if there was anything 'missing' it would be in her FEAR. BUT... that's not to say that her FEAR ability isn't suitable and well done either. It's just not flashy. It's plain, simple, and straight to the point. Her poison causes paralysis if she stings you. That might be why you feel like something is lacking... most others have really detailed, intricate ways that their FEAR works (or at least it seems that way from the other kids I've read up on).

Please don't change it. I like it. It's simplicity suits her so incredibly well. She is a simple character, she doesn't use more than what she's got and she really doesn't strike me as the type of person who would even need to.

Naw. She doesn't stick out to me as CAT MONSTER at all. I mean yes she has the feline aspects but that's just a part of her whole. She's a Manticore, afterall, and that's a bit of a mishmash of a few different things, eh?

I feel like she'll be able to stand strongly on her own. o Ao

Dude, she's awesome! I didn't see anything that just glared out at me as being out of place, or contradictory.

It's not necessary, but a list of likes, dislikes, pet peeves, trigger words,etc. would give more insight into her, though you've provided enough already.

It lurked in the shadows. It lurked in the rafters. It lurked at the edge of your vision, a fleeting apparition that had one purpose, one goal in its personified life. The acceptance bin flexed its paper-mache wings as shifted its stance, staring at the desk below it. The enrollment papers were right there, sitting there idly. Unsuspecting. Waiting.

The acceptance bin bunched itself up. It was a hunter, poised and ready to pounce on its prey. Three, two, one, GO! It sprung, taking a mighty leap into the air...

Only to come crashing down, missing the desk completely with a loud CRASH.

It would take five hours for the acceptance bin to crawl its way up and onto the desk with only one of its wings dangling from its back by means of one half-removed piece of scorch tape. But it would eat Arcadia's enrollment papers and recommendation letter. And it would saver every word. And each and every single one of Arel's pens. And staples. And paperclips. And everything else the secretary unfortunately left out on his desk.
