Aden couldn't help but to chuckle, "Yes, my other patients... the changes in them, it was quite rapid and rather adorable." He said, unable to help but to grin a bit as he thought about the other two that he had been giving the sonograms not to long ago, "Now... while we wait." He got up to his feet and walked over to one of the cabinets, digging around for a moment so he could get a bottle, then went over to the fridge to get a bottle of water, then returned to Edes and Cody, "These..." He said, popping open the bottle to dump out two of the pills onto his palm, "Are prenatal vitamins, filled with good things for the baby."
He was sure that this was procedure and that if Luthor was involved that he didn't really have to second guess what was right in front of him. The test was for the records and as he leaned over to get a peek it already read what he was expecting, "Takes these with this." He offered out the pills and the water, "I will also expect you," He looked at Cody, "To either bring him to get a bottle for himself or get them for him. Your the Daddy here so that means your in charge of all the fetch and carry work."

Cody's stomach lurched a little. Shopping for baby clothing? Oh god, another very obvious reminder that he was going to be a father soon. Struggling to keep a straight face and not to show his worry and fear at the idea of being a father, he flashed Edes a soft smile. "Sounds... Fun," he murmured, willing to do anything the boy wanted even if he absolutely hated it. Clothing shopping... Not a strong point for him.
Cody glanced at Aden, giving him a stiff nod. "Really? With how much you've been flirting I half expected it to be yours," he commented with a completely straight face. Hey, no stress meant he could relax a bit and joke around. Not to mention he'd never forget to get Edes anything like that or be reluctant to fetch things for him. Sure he'd get some funky looks from people he recognized possibly, but they'd get over it. "Anything else we'll need, Aden?" he asked, his serious face returning quickly.

Noding, Edes took the pills from the doctor, swallowing them with the water, then putting the cup down, resting his hand on his belly. He knew he was going to have a happy and healthy baby... One that would be raised to be a good child, and have a safe and stable environment. Turning his gaze to Cody, he could somehow sense that there was tension in his lover.. He gently brushed his wings against Cody's, giving him a reassuring smile.
"I think we'll be good for now... I'm sure there is nothing I need to worry about, and I know that Cody will get my meds and such. I'm still able to work until the later stages, right?" That was the last question he had, and he stood, ready to depart from the facility.

Aden gave a bit of a grin, "Oh come now, Cody, you know if either of you were going to carry my baby it would be you! Your the one who stole my heart!" He said in a dramatic, teasing manner before he gave a nod, "Well mostly you want to make sure that he eats well, healthy food, no smoking, drinking of course and stay away from those that do smoke... don't worry I will keep it far from him when he comes for his appointments, lots of rest, no stress, and if possible you want to keep him from carrying anything over ten pounds so that he doesn't strain himself." He answered when he was asked if there was anything else.
He turned to look to Edes, "All that applies to your question as well. I am not saying you can't have sweets or anything like that, you just want to make sure to eat healthy for the baby as well. I am sure there will be the odd cravings and I am sure that Cody will help find those things you crave since he seems to care deeply for you. Its nice to see such happy couples like you and my other current pregnant couple."

Cody snorted. "We both know you could never have me like that. I thought we agreed on this," he replied, unable to help the smirk that crept onto his face. As Aden listed off the things Edes would have to do and not do, all he could imagine was just how much time off work he'd have to take. Sure the people wouldn't fire him for something like this, since he could easily work from home for a few months or so but... It was going to take a lot of his patience.
"Right. You said it was going to be a shorter pregnancy... How short, exactly?" Cody asked, standing as Edes did so. The fact that they were leaving put him in higher spirits. The whole pregnancy thing was starting to scare him more than he'd like. Stealing from the government sounded a lot easier than it at least. And possibly less dangerous or deadly.

A smile once again graced Edes' features, an elbow reaching out to nudge Cody, very ready to come home. He didn't want to sound whiny, but... He was feeling overly tired.. So much excitement for a short amount of time took alot out of him, and now he wanted nothing more than to go home and cuddle with the man he loved.
After Aden answered Cody's question, he tugged on his love's hand.
"Thank you for all your help, Aden... I'll be sure to call and set up an appointment~ " He gave him a gentle smile, then waited for Cody to lead him out.

"I can't say for certain, much shorter then a human span. From what I have seen thus far its between two and six months, we will be able to tell from the sonogram how fast your child is developing. As such I will say... one month from when you first started to see the extra aura from within your belly, that is when I want you to come in. It will help me to best determine how quickly your progressing, alright?"
He could tell that the pair wanted to be off so he rose to his feet, stepping closer to them with a serious look on his face... then gave a smirk as he quickly gave them each a quick peck on the mouth... then quickly dodge back before he could be killed, "Have a wonderful day, Edes, Cody." He said, giving a grin before he moved to clean up, leaving them go head out as they wished.

Cody nodded, now even more than a little worried. There was so much they had to prepare for in such a short amount of time, it seemed. Even shorter than anyone else had. A million thoughts continued to run through his mind, though not a single worried or concerned look shone through. No need to worry Edes with such silly things anyways. No, not when the spawn was truly happy with the idea.
Before he could say goodbye to Aden and leave, the Doctor was suddenly kissing him and the urge to punch him full on flooded him. Snarling, his eyes flared darkly as Cody struggled not to release Edes' hand and full on tackle the doctor to the ground. NOBODY did that to his Edes! Clenching his free hand into a tight fist, eyes narrowed in anger, a flash of previous insanity flared to life only to be extinguished a moment later. "Mine," Cody hissed, turning and nearly dragging the poor spawn out the door in an attempt to escape before he did something stupid in revenge. It barely registered that Aden had kissed him as well, finding that insult to be far less than that of kissing the one he had already claimed.

"Oh thank you so much!!" Edes was more than excited to hear that his baby would be here soon than he had expected! Granted.. There was less time than they had originally though to get ready, but he was sure that everything would be alright. Anything that they did together ended up perfect in the end~
When the doctor's lips met his own, he honestly did not know how to respond... He had never been kissed by anyone other than Cody, and it was a strange feeling, not one of fondness or anything, but as if he broke the law! The first thing he did was squeeze Cody's hand tighter, knowing how he would respond, and willingly went with him as he was dragged out the office, giving the doctor a small wave.
"Everything will be fine..." He crooned to his lover as they exited the building, stopping for a moment to cut him off, stand on tiptoe, and press a loving kiss to his lips, giving his lower lip a soft nibble, then pulling away and blushing. "Now come one, we have work to do~"
