"Yes, okay. I will taking basket." She parroted unconsciously (she liked the way he talked), as she reached out for the basket, eyeing it specutively, wondering just how much fruit she could fit in it. "What fruit is your favorite?" She asked as she moved over to the peach tree eyesing the fruits now, deciding which ones she wanted. The peaches and raspberries were definitely going in there as well as some strawberries. She simply couldn't live without those.

 "Ah fruits i liking? I having to choose one? I cant do that." Aleksey said with a light laugh as he rubbed the back of his head. He followed Tera around at a safe distance, not having noticed how she mimicked him. But he honestly couldnt choose which fruit was his favorite. He had many of them for breakfast along with eggs and toast. And then he would have more at lunch and some as desert after dinner. "Fruit doesnt grow well in Russia. So i liking all of them. I thinking i eat them too much." Aleksey said with a smile. " What is your favorites?" Aleksey asked Tera.

At his comment about liking them to much the determined look left, replaced by a smile, if only for a moment. "Why, I don't believe their is any such thing as eating them too much." She went back to her look around the garden, answering his question as she did. "Oh I like them all as well! But I believe my favorite, this seson anyway would have to be strawberries. You can eat them with anything. Though my all time favorite are pineapples." She said with a grin, before sighing somewhat defeatedly. "Do you mind helping me with these peaches. I'm not tall enough yet." She said obviously frustrated that she hadn't reached her full height yet.

"Da." Aleksey nodded and smiled as he stepped up to the tree and reached up. It was easy enough for him.. but then again he was tall. He started picking the peaches and handing them to the girl one by one. Of course he wasnt going to stop until she said so. "Strawberries are being delicious." Aleksey said with a smile. "I dont thinking i have Pineapples. Not sure." Aleksey said as he kept picking peaches and handing them to Tera.

_____________It had been a while since she had seen Aleksey at the clinic and decided now was a good time to go and visit his farm. Just as she had promised. Mindy decided to bring her younger sister along with her. Mae never really went around town much. She was always with Micah or at home practicing her songs for the company over seas. Lately, Mae had been visiting the hot springs frequently. Mindy had wondered what was so special there and wanted to go herself, but there was never all the much time to. Or the energy. Upon arriving at the farm, she could see many groves of fruit trees, bushes, and of the like. So many colors and sweet delicate smells. It gave her the idea to do a little gardening again at the house.______________"It's really pretty here. Thanks for bringing me."
Mae had spoken up. She hadn't really said much on their way over to this fruit farm. She hadn't even heard of the place. Mindy had said that her friend owned the place. How sad was that? Her older sister that isn't a social butterfly has more friends than she did. Mae really needed to get out more.
"I hope everything tastes as great as it looks."_____________"I'm sure it will. This guy. He's from Russia. I think he said that his family farmed a lot. . besides during the bitter winter."______________"Good god. . I couldn't do that for a living. No way in hell. . That and I would hate to be stuck in his country during the winter time."_____________"Cool story. . He has a strong accent so don't make fun of him and try to be understanding. We all know how hard it is to be the new kid."
Mae nodded her head but when Mindy looked at her, she could see the woman just finishing rolling her eyes. The older sister smacked the girl on the shoulder to show she was serious. Still acting like her mother to keep her in line. The two wandered up the long stretch of dirt road to the building where Mindy assumed Aleksey would be and prayed to the Goddess in her head that he would be there. If not, then. . it was a good exercise for the both of them. At the door, Mindy gave the first knock, then Mae chimed in with an unnecessary knocking beat.

Aleksey was busy picking the ripe fruits from the trees and putting them in a basket. Well he had been doing that, until a stalking Deer had come up to him and tried to steal a peach. He offered it one and now Aleksey was feeding the large animal the fruit and smiling like a goof. It was a nice day out and he was still wearing his scarf and his gloves, his coat he had exchanged this morning for a short sleeve tshirt and a light unbuttoned long sleeved shirt over that all in earth tones. While the deer ate the peach from his hand, Aleksey gently pat it on its head, it was a female and the baby was nearby eating a fruit off of the ground that had fallen. Neither animal seemed to care too much about the presence of Aleksey, then again he hadnt moved much in the past half hour. When the animals heard more humans they darted off into the brush. Aleksey frowned lightly, only to turn towards his house when he heard the knock on the door. He dropped what remained of the peach the deer had been eating and picked up the fruit basket before he came out from the tree line. "Oh Pryvet! Mindy, da?" Aleksey called with a smile as he held up a hand to the two. He wasnt far from his house, but he definitely wasnt inside of it. So why were they all the way over there?

_____________Mindy had turned around when she heard the familiar Russian accent. There he was waving at her sister and herself. Mindy glanced at Mae and smiled as she headed back over to where Aleksey was standing.
"Hello, Aleksey. How are you doing," she asked while walking. "This is my younger sister Mae. I wanted to bring her along and see if she wanted anything from your farm too."______________Mae turned around when Mindy had to see the tall blond man. Holy crap was he tall, and so handsome. Mae wondered if Mindy might actually be into this guy. She wouldn't blame her. . The younger of the two followed down to meet up with the guy and as they grew closer, he grew taller. And more handsome. Mae smiled at him when Mindy had introduced her.
"Hello," she spoke up with a small wave. _____________"Well, I know nothing about farming, could you please tell me what you have in stock? Has Mei come to see you yet, or no?"
Mae had looked at her funny when she said that. Mindy shook her head and laughed a little.
"She's my friend from work. The same name but spelled differently. She's also oriental."

"I be doing fine." Aleksey said with a smile as the two girls approached him. He looked to Mae as she was introduced. Wait two girls named Mei? Oh this was going to be confusing.. or not. "Oh Pryvet younger sister Mae." He said as he held a hand up in greeting to her hello. He looked back to Mindy as she mentioned other Mei and asking what he had in stock. When Mindy confirmed that his wasnt Mei from the clinic, Aleksey nodded gently. "Mei stopping by a few days ago. I show her house and bring her inside for drinking and a movie. But we ending up drinking to much and i think i fell asleep on her." Aleksey said with a blush as he rubbed the back of his neck with a smile on his lips. "So i will be needing to apologizes to her, soon." Aleksey added before he dropped his hand from his neck and held out the basket he had been holding onto with his other hand. "This is whats on farm. I also wrote sign.. you should have been passing it on way here." Aleksey said as he looked down the path in thought. Then again he wasnt sure if he had written everything correctly so honestly he didnt know if anyone could understand it or not. He should have just written it in Russian.. at least then he could understand it. Aleksey blinked out of his thoughts and turned back to the girls. "What was i talkings about?" He asked confused, he had entirely blanked. He looked down at the basket he was holding, it was heavy, full of all the fresh and ripe fruits he had been harvesting this morning. Peaches, strawberries, raspberries, etc.. they were all in there. " Oh!" Aleksey laughed lightly as he remembered what the girls asked him. "Da. Everything in basket is in seasons." He said as he held out the large basket for them. "Try one, they are being nice and juicy. This lands very fertile, like a mother who taking drugs to be making more babies." Aleksey said as he tried to do an analogy.. horrible one but it kind of made sense. "There are, Apricots, Peaches, Nectarines, oh and those are being Strawberries, Blueberries, Raspberries, Blackberries, and Green Herb that is for medicines." Aleksey said as he pointed out the different fruits in the basket. For the herb he pointed to the spot behind the girls a good section of the field had the green lush herb growing in it.

_____________So the receptionist at the clinic had been to see him already. Didn't even bother to tell her either. That bummed Mindy out a little but then again she and Mei aren't the closest of friends. Hearing that they had a drink and watched a movie together, it sounded like it was a date between the two. Especially when he stated that he fell asleep on Mei. He was blushing and smiling about it too which meant he may even like her back. Mindy smiled despite her discomfort about the situation. he then held out his basket that he was carrying and spoke of a sign that Mae and herself should've passed.
"Oh, yes. . I remember. I didn't pay attention to it. . Sorry," she chuckled.
He then asked what he was talking about after staring down the path that the two girls had come from. Was his train of thought that short? She jumped a little when he had spoke up loudly, suddenly remembering. ______________She looked to her older sister when the guy had suddenly remembered what he was talking about with them. She could tell that her sister wasn't too happy to hear that her co-worker had already slept in this guy's house. She assumed the woman had a little crush on the guy. Oh boy. . Well, there goes that one. The Russian man had asked them to try his fruits gathered in the basket he held and Mae immediately reached for a peach. She loved fruit with all their natural sweetness and juices. Biting into the peach, she sighed happily and nodded her head in approval. The sister nudged Mindy with her elbow to tell her to get one herself and not be rude. Funny how the woman told her not to be rude._____________Mindy looked over at Mae when she nudged her and gave a cold stare for a second before returning to her natural and calm mood. She took a strawberry and plucked off the leaves to eat the red fruit. It really was delicious and Mae was enjoying her peach a lot.
"I'll take a batch. . of these strawberries. Might as well. . take the . . peaches too," she spoke in between bites.

"Ah.. its okay, da? I not paying attention sometimes to." Aleksey smiled to Mindy. "And sometimes.. i just forgetting, or i loose train of thinking entirely." Aleksey said with a blush. He nodded when she said she wanted to take a batch of strawberries and peaches. Aleksey knelt down and set the basket down on the ground for now. He stood back up and started walking away from the two girls, back into the tree line. He paused to look over his shoulder at them. "Coming with me? We get basket and collect what you want of Peaches and Strawberries." He said cheerfully as he turned and lead the way. He led them to the Peach trees since they were closest. He picked up a already half full basket, it was a smaller size than the first one he had been carrying. This one he could carry easily with one hand. The other one he had to put against his hip and carry it that way with one arm holding onto the other end. Put this was just a simple smaller basket, like one of those big fruit baskets people sent one another as gifts. He stopped and turned to the girls once they were a few tree rows into the Peach orchard section of his farm. "You two picking peaches you like. Ill be holding the basket for storing. Then we head to strawberries and pick those. I like letting the peoples pick there owns fruit. Lets them choosing how much and which kinds they want. Then we deals with price." Aleksey said to them both before he looked to Mindy. "How is Clinic going? I keep meaning to stop by with more sunflowers but i keeps getting wrapped up in work here on farm." Aleksey said in an apologetic tone. Aleksey then turned to Mae. "Why you so quiet Mae? Did i be saying something wrong?" Aleksey asked out of concern.

_____________Mindy chuckled while finishing off the strawberry when Aleksey had stated that he looses train of thought entirely at times. This was already established. . . After setting his basket down, he set off into the trees again. She wasn't sure if they were to follow or no until he asked if they would join him. Mindy then set off after him into the groves.______________She was about to say something after Aleksey had left but then Mindy had followed with him. She tossed the peach pit and bent down to grab a strawberry from the basket and gobble that down too. After stuffing her mouth with it, she darted after Mindy to catch up just in time to hear Aleksey tell them that they can choose their own peaches. Mae went right ahead and helped herself. It took Mindy a few seconds to chip in and help scavenge. She looked back at the tall Russian man when he asked if she was alright. The young woman nodded and smiled.
"Oh no, nothing's wrong Aleksey. I don't really know why I'm quiet myself. I've been like this for a while. It had gone away but I guess it's back again."_____________"Yes. She's fine. . Oh, um. The clinic is doing well. Not many have been in lately. It's very slow and I haven't seen either doctors around either. Just Mei and myself hanging around and taking care of things."

"Oh. I get that way in Winter." Aleksey said to Mae. His mood plummeted when when Winter in Russia hit. It was very, so very depressing. He looked over to Mindy when she spoke up. " That is good to hear, about Mei and Clinic. And why Doctors not come in? Do they get lost sometimes too? Forget to come in to clinic? That is not being good of them. " Aleksey frowned and shook his head. But then he smiled at the thought. "Though if you not having much to do, you and Mei i should be visiting soon. Maybe i bring nice Russian lunch, you be liking that?" Aleksey asked.

______________Mae simply nodded and knocked down another peach after jumping up and smacking it. She felt pity for the guy, just because he was from Russia and winters there were harsh. . She froze before going to get another peach. As if a lightbulb sparked to life above her head, she head an expression no her face that made Mindy excited. Why? Because the older sister knew the old Mae had finally returned.
"Brilliant!" _____________"What?"______________"I just had the best idea for a new song, thanks to Aleksey here." _____________"Uh. . Okay? Well?"______________"And I'm going home to work my a** off on it."_____________"Wait- what?! No, you can't leave me with our fruit."______________"Watch me," she shouted and giggled as she ran away from the two home.
-Exit Mae- _____________Normally, Mindy would be a little pissed by now for the total ditch Mae just pulled but she was too glad to have her younger sister back to normal. At least for a little while. The woman had been bringing her down with all her moping in the backyard, thinking that Mindy wouldn't be able to tell. She wasn't stupid. . Mindy then turned to Aleksey and smirked, shaking her head.
"Oh the young life. ." She picked up the basket with a handful of peaches and sighed. "The doctors, right. .Well I think I just never come in when they are around. I always seem to miss them. I;m sure they would do their job if they were needed but right now everyone on Nirvani island seems to be in mint condition. Also, lunch sounds very nice. I'm sure it'll be a pleasant surprise for Mei. I've never had Russian cuisine before. What's it like?"

Mae's sudden spark and suddeny leaving from his residence had Aleksey slightly baffled. Now what was she going away for? A song? He would like to hear it. That would be nice, a song that someone made up, all because of him. Right? It was because of him right? Or not? Aleksey blinked and smiled when Mindy drew his attention back to her. Oh pretty Mindy was talking. Everyone was in mint condition. What was that? He was not a mint, and in no condition to be one! Also.. it was Russian lunch.. what else was there..? Oh right.. he wasnt in Russia. " Oh! Of course it being good. It tasting like food. I.. never tried other peoples food." Aleksey blushed and laughed nervously. "Other than fruits here. Which is being very good. In Russia we having many different things for lunch, or as we in Russia call it obed. It biggest meal of day, many courses. Zakuska, then soup, i will probably making you some Borscht, and then for vtoroe blyudo, maybe some fish with vegetables and Pelmeni on the side." Aleksey said with a smile to her. "So bringing appetite, da?" Aleksey smiled to her. " You wanting to go get Strawberries now?" He asked her before he started leading the way to the strawberry field.

_____________Mindy thought about how nice it would be to make some lunch for him in return. One day she would come over and bring what Mae and herself used to eat all the time as kids. He then went on about the Russian cuisine as she asked but most of what he said sounded like gibberish to her. She just smiled and nodded, deciding to wait and see whenever he decided to bring Mei and herself some Russian lunch.
"Yes, I will bring a good appetite," she replied lightly laughing. He then asked if she would like to venture to the strawberry fields. "Yeah, that sounds good to me. Lead the way."
