Suddently the Radio from the Guard that Viral render unconsence blarred "Greg you there! Come in Greg. Over. Greg whats you status."

Viral inserted the next key the same way she did the last, and the door opened without delay.
"Crap" she said under her breath as she ran to the next cell that was just a few feet away. Her heart began to race a little as the radio posed a definite threat to their escape plan.
This next cell belonged to the Hive member known as Amanda.
"Which key unlocks this door, hurry" she spoke, barely trying to whisper anymore. She canceled out the two keys she had already used. These she threw at the two guys she had just freed.
"Try to see if they unlock your wrist shackles too" she noted.

"third one from the left." Amanda whispered. While Viral unlocked her cell, Micheal and Hatchet tried to get their shackles off. "damn it, these aren't the right keys." said Micheal.

Viral called out to the freed fugitives, just low enough to not send echoes down the halls.
"Check that guard, maybe he's got another set of keys on him. I don't know how to get those off, I'd have to look at them myself first but-" Viral got to the last cell and presented the series of keys for Andrea to choose the one that fits the lock, "can't right now"
Four guards were coming their way. And their ten minutes were nearly up.
Viral had hoped to pull everyone up into the vent system before anyone else would notice; but her premediated plans were going to have to be saved for another day.
The slide of a door sounded in the distance, followed by a series of accelerated footsteps.

"middle one." Andrea whispered, quickly. The others searched the guard and found a scan card. Micheal swiped the card over his shackle and it unlocked. Amanda and Hatchet did the same. The footsteps were getting closer.

Viral counted off the keys until she found the middle one Andrea mentioned. The lock clicked open and she performed the necessary motion for the door to slide open, freeing Andrea.
"This way" she commanded, running towards the guard she had drained energy from before. She put the set of keys in her pouch, thinking they may be necessary in the future. Or, if not, they'd make a nice trophy.. if they got out that is.
"Up there" she said, poiting up towards the open vent that was only two feet above their heads.
"We'll need one of you to get us up there and I'll pull you all up one by one. We have to act quickly--" she said, but she might have spoken too soon. The footsteps of the approaching guards grew significantly louder. Closer.

Suddently one of the guards came around the corner and saw the guard "Greg" out file on the ground as well as four prisoners out of their cells and some intruder freeing them. Before anyone could react he shoutted "Sound the alarms! We have an intruder performing a prision break" Upon the guard shoutting this the alarms and sirens blarred, as guards scramble to secure all the gates and doors, the dogs immediately were released.

"Dammit.. where to?" she grunted under her breath as she ran towards the other Hive members, wishing she had the time to check her map.
The sound of barking dogs and the alarm sounding only made the situation more stressful.
The footsteps grew very close, and Viral's bare hand went for Hatchet's arm. There was a small glow, visible only from their standpoint, as the energy Viral had drained from the guard was transfered into the Hive member.
"Take this" she told Hatchet, as the last of the energy was transmitted.
"I can't absorb more than one at a time"
Clearly she was preparing herself to suck the energy from as many guards as she could using this method of transferal; and the rest would have to go down by dagger.
"I still think we should take to the vents, all the doors will be blocked by now. Can two or three of you try getting yourselves up there while the rest of us buy you time" she said, almost in an ordering fashion.

"We are not leaving anyone behind, follow me." said Andrea. They raced to the ground level, luckily no guards caught them. In the corner of a room there was a small door in the ground with a padlock on it. "Hatchet, please." she said. Then using his super strength, Hatchet ripped off the lock like ripping paper out of a note book. "this is a bomb shelter, it hasn't been used since WWII. And if it's a standardized bomb shelter, then it should lead to the outside." Andrea said as she jumped in and signaled the rest to follow her. Amanda, Micheal, and Hatchet got in after her.

Viral followed quickly, and was impressed by Andrea's knowledge of the prison.
"You sure know your way around this place by now huh" she stated, not necessarily trying to insult her. She was grateful for Andrea's quick thinking.
"Let's just hope theres no one waiting for us at the end of the tunnel" she said, running along with the four Hive members. She glanced back to see if they were being followed, but only the sound of barking echoed through the shelter. She wondered if the dogs would get to them first.

Inside the tunnel was pitch black and very long. The mark on Andrea's neck continued to burn with pain, and also give of an ominous purple glow which provided some light, but not enough. So Micheal went to the front of the group and used his powers over fire to create a ball of fire on the palm of his hand to light the way.

Suddently they managed to get outside as they found themselves confronted by six dogs and one and a half dozen Guards ready to fight and re-imprision the escapees as well as the intruder
