Strolling back to grab a few things from his office Qastor noticed the young Rika at his office door,"Rika-chan, what are you doing here?" Qastor was slightly perplexed as she was supposed to be out training, he nodded the guard away as he opened the door and walked in.

Rika stood swiftly, giving a bow and then returning her masked gaze to him. "Lord Mizukage, I was attacked while training. A rogue ninja from the Sound Village appeared and claimed to be after me." She held out the Sound headband, complete with the scratch across the center of it. She removed her mask, the right half of her face darkened by the curse mark that the Jinchuriki of Houkou receives upon being host. "I thought coming straight to you would be the best course of action."
Doing a set of hand seals before entering the office behind the Mizukage, Rika merely whispered, "Kage Bunshin no Jutsu." A puff of smoke appeared, as well as a second and third Rika. The pair of Rika nodded to the first, replacing their masks and heading out. "I apologize, Lord Mizukage...but it is as you said, I should be training right now." She smiled, knowing that there was much they needed to discuss and it could take some time.

"I see, maybe I should look into this... I will be going to Sound in a few days anyways. Please stay safe." Qastor returned to his office and sat down, it was troublesome to hear of these things as he tried not to restrict his jinchuuriki and keep them locked away even if it made them safer.

Rika nodded, looking at the weary visage that her leader held. He was young, almost too young to bear the mantle of such responsibility. It was almost saddening for her to see a child such as he in such a stressful position. It was almost an early death sentence. "Lord Mizukage, I'd also like to request the right to either participate in the Chuunin Exams or be tested to prove I have the ability. Your predecessor deemed me unworthy or too valuable to be trusted with such responsibility."
She smiled almost ruefully at her leader, "I know that rank doesn't necessarily deem power and ability, but I grow so weary of being feared everywhere I turn. If the village perhaps knew that I was worthy of the rank, maybe they might see me in a different light?" She removed a piece of paper from the inside of her kimono and began folding it, trying to give her hands something to do while she spoke. "I hate being a burden to you and everyone else, it makes me feel even worse than when I am shunned away. But I also want to experience more of what life is, something I cannot do when cooped up here in the village."
She took a deep breath, releasing the air slowly from inside her as she worked the paper into a strange shape to any who did not know her. It was Houkou, the five-tailed demon that was sealed inside of her. She could see his form in anything that could be shaped, and she could make it appear to others rather quickly. "I also want to make contact with the shinobi animals, perhaps then I'll even have some friends to curb my loneliness...but maybe that is just wishful thinking." She laid the figure upon his desk, feeling the curse mark shift across her features.
It was then that she felt what one of her clones had been destroyed and she learned what it had been training, as well as what took it out. Seemed as though she was fighting with herself, something that wasn't really all that uncommon nowadays. Different aspects of herself seemed to be at ends, more specifically her anger seemed to be at war with her peace. "My lord, please do not worry too much about my safety. I can take care of myself and I plan to extend everything I am to the protection of our lands and people. They may hate me, but I know what is truly important in my life." With that, she stood silently to hear his opinions on what she revealed to him.

"I see you are eager and determined, well you are in luck then. Train hard Rika-chan, I will recall you for your first mission in a short time. Your new squad leader is currently out himself. Can you wait a bit more, dear?" Qastor smiled as he turned to his paper work, if she was mature enough to handle the next couple missions he could move her up with no regrets.

Rika's eyes lit up almost instantly upon hearing his words, it seemed that he did indeed have faith in her and it was almost more than she could fathom. Of all the people in village, his and her family's opinion of her meant most. "Thank you, my Lord. I'll take my leave now, as I have much training to do." She disappeared in a haze of mist, something that she managed to learn from when her clones were battling each other elsewhere. The other was dispelled about this time and she learned everything it had, which amused her greatly.

Rika had been thinking of the decision for days, when she started having those strange dreams about fighting the Konoha ninja. She realized that she has so much more that she needs to experience before she would be truly content living in a village. She promised to return as soon as she was ready. With a sigh and a look of sadness on her face, hidden behind her special mask, she slipped the note under her the Mizukage's door. She was going out for a while to learn more about herself, explore the world some. It already had been nearly a week since she was promised to be part of a squad. But the one that was supposed to be on a simple mission never returned from it...perhaps she was just too eager?
The note explained that she was going to head towards the direction of the Snow Village, with a humble request not to have her followed. She didn't want to threaten her village leader, but she suggested that sending someone after her might not turn out the way he'd like. The only thing that she really worried about was that the village's Sannin came after her, that woman was no joke. Rika always looked up to her, but was too timid to actually speak with her. But that lady was entirely too dangerous to even attempt to fight seriously. Scary, even.
With that, she slipped out past the guards and headed toward the edge of the village.

"I hope shes back in time than," Qastor mused as he read the letter. He didnt really feel she should be contained because she was a Jinchuuriki, but at the same time she was still a Gennin. Kirin was an established Yukikage, but even then... "Wait a second, this might have a purpose." Ikumen was training to be Mizukage some day. Qastor knew he didnt have much time left and he needed a replacement as well as not having time to teach the boy everything. If Ikumen went on a trip to look after Rika, well he would be able to get used to the outside world and foreign villages.

Ichiro Mikami When Ichiro graduated from the Academy, he was told by his instructor to head towards the Mizukage’s office to meet up and report to the Mizukage. Being excited to meet the strongest shinobi on the village, Ichi rushed himself draging his long scarf while running towards the direction of the Kage's office. When he arrived, he quickly entered the building and saw many shinobis of different ranks. "Woah! Everyone seems so busy in here… I wonder what Mizukage-sama is doing" Ichi thought to himself. He continued to walk and eventually reached the room where the Mizukage was. Ichi took a deep breath then swallowed as he approached the door, he was a confident young boy but he was obviously nervous to talk to the Mizukage personally. "Though I have seen the Mizukage-sama countless times I still don’t know what kind of person he is… geez.. I hope he’s not like those grumpy man in the village" Ichi curiously thought to himself as he knocked on the door waiting for a response to let him in.

"Ah, now who is this?" Qastor got up as he walked to the door and opened it looking down to the boy,"Aoui? Konichiwa! What can I do for you?" Qastor gave a genuine smile as he walked back over to his desk.

Ichiro Mikami The boy’s eye widened when the door opened, he saw the Mizukage’s face looking down, smiling at him. Ichiro bowed his head as a sign of respect and replied to the Mizukage “I….. I was sent here by my instructors at the academy telling me that I needed to report to you..Ichiro scratched his head and continued speaking. errr… im not really sure what I need to report to you about… BUT!! If I could be of any service to you Mizukage-sama! Just tell me whether it’s a Rank A Mission or even S Rank! I’ll do it!!! And consider it done! He told the Mizukage with great enthusiasm and a wide grin on his face. Ichiro got past of his nervousness and went back to his usual confident and boastful self.

Qastor chuckled and rubbed the back of his head as he grinned. "Fiery youth as always! Lets slow down on putting you in harms way just yet, eh? How about I give you something a little more simple. Your first mission is to go out to the academy and dojo with these scrolls on my desk and train yourself as much as you can up to C Rank techniques and stage 2 of any styles you can learn. Then I want you to come back here for your next assignment," Qastor smiled as he put the scrolls down,"Oh and dont forget your headband, too."

Ichiro Mikami Ichi curiously listened to what the Mizukage had to say then replied What are you chuckling about! don't you have faith in your own shinobi!? and simpler? Like what!? Trust me I could take on anything! Ichi said then did a 1-2 punch in the air and give the Mizukage a nice little smug. The Mizukage continued to talk and Ichi just had to listen. Training!?!? so I guess ill be going back to the Academy again to train huh? And the Dojo as well……. not entirely what I expected but I guess It’s better than nothing….. I’ll take It! Ichi replied, kinda disappointed but he got excited when the Mizukage slipped out some scrolls and a Mist headband on top of his table Woah cool! Are those for me!?!? Heheh.. Thank you! Mizukage-sama!” Ichi picked the scrolls up and placed it on his pockets then took the headband tying it on his forehead. Ichi took a somewhat heroic pose to celebrate the day he got his head band with the light reflecting on the headband’s metal plate making it sparkle. Ichi felt really proud of himself but it might have been awkward for the Mizukage. After the pose Ichi, looked back to the Mizukage and bowed his head again. excited to see what the contents of the scroll was Ichi rushed outside the door sending his scarf flying up while waving goodbye to the Mizukage. Hehehe, I’ll see you later Mizukage-sama! Moving to: Mist Library & Training Facility Thread

"Aoui!" With that Qastor waved at the boys departure and went to papers again with a sigh.
