"Better hurry then," she teased some more. "Don't want to miss out on vandalizing the city. I mean, that would be just criminal to miss out on that type of juvenile behavior! What would the other eighth graders think if you didn't show up?" She did her best to smile and show that she was kidding, but she was a notoriously ugly-smiler, so her facial expression ended up being something very awkward and distorted, only faintly recognizable as a smile.
"Don't get yourself in any trouble," she said, a bit more sternly. "And I better not catch you with that paintball gun in this cemetery again. Next time I won't let you slide. You'll probably end up in one of these graves instead." After that, she was actually able to smile.
It was creepy.

Nate stared at her.
First she had looked at him with that very awkward expression that had tried to be a smile, he assumed, but had failed horribly. Now, after alluding to killing him, she was able to do it no problem? that was very creepy.
But he grinned back.
"Yeah, yeah, I know. I'll do my best to avoid you killing me. Or at least catching me." He winked and waved over his shoulder as he turned to walk off, his paintball gun resting on his shoulder casually as he headed toward the main street to head back home.
Or maybe he should go on patrol. Whatever.
"And you don't forget to chill out. Your panties will definitely thank you, for unbunching them." He called back as he walked off, not too fussed with the encounter. A bit strange, but he ended up enjoying it, even without getting any good trouble making in.
