Mimoko's ears flopped downwards when she was patted, curled tail wagging a few times before she grinned up at her master, a blush forming. She still wore it~ Mimoko was nearly on cloud seven, having a master not only kind but gentle. The sled-fox would go anywhere with the vixen, anywhere the 'Phim wanted. So when she mentioned the river she was more than happy to bounce after her even though she really didn't hear the river part. She had been distracted by the joy of Kimil wearing her present.

Seriously, she was a lucky sled-dog indeed.

(( -grins- Awh, thank youuuu! I love Kimil <3 She's so frickin nice to her <3 Short post, I'm sowwy ))

Unable to hide her smile the tan Phim kept right on walking she could practically feel her servant bouncing along behind her. I wonder what my cousins would think of this were they to see it. More then likely they would giggle at least a bit. I was not raised to be some stuffy noble, yet I took on the role that is in my blood to help protect this innocent fox. Still it is she who helps to tie me to this strange outerworld. At least I am capable enough of surviving on my own and caring for myself enough that I am certain I will be able to extend a wing and shelter this joyous heart that stands beside me. Still what would she say of me if she knew of my origins? Nay. Better to hold off on that for a while. She seems so happy right now.

The foliage of the forest enclosed the two foxes with soft arms. The moss below their paws was soft and squishy. The scent of heavy wood like oak and the rich tang of pine saturated the air. Bird song serenaded the pair as they walked. It was quite and peaceable journey. Doing her best to remember the way Kimil only hoped she wasn’t getting herself and Mimoko lost.

(Hey short posts make the world go round ^.~ and Kimi can’t help herself. It’s how she is to those in her charge… plus she really did like the necklace. She is a sucker for anything floral.)

Mimoko silently followed, her hopping having ceased after a few minutes. Her curled tail wiggled faintly as she followed her mistress, seemingly happier than she had been in a long time. Absently, she wondered where her mistress was from. Was Kimil from somewhere far far away? Well, she had mentioned she was. Though, not much about her old life-style. Suddenly, a thought hit her. Would Kimil return home one day? Where would Mimoko go? Where would she belong? Would Kimil just leave her? Mimoko was just a servant, but, she didn't want to be alone again!

The thought of Kimil leaving to go home made her heart beat faster, even skip beats. Oh, she really didn't want to think about it, so, she tried to stop herself. She turned to smile at Kimil, ears back despite herself. "So, you don't have kids?"

(( Our couples are always perfect for one another, lol. ))

Pausing mid-step the phim turned her head and looked at Mimoko very surprised. “Offspring? No. I have no children to call my own.” Kimil gave a low chuckle at the thought of her offspring running amok. Is Mimoko nervous about some matter? She seems reserved almost afraid to ask. Perhaps she worries that I only took her as a servant to make her a caretaker of a troublesome youth? She need not worry on this matter; though it is best to make that clear right away I suppose. “I have no kits or mate. My mother passed quite some time ago. I do have a father back home in Tzara. Though I doubt I will do much more than go and visit him from time to time, that and he is as healthy as an old oak. So you need not worry about such things as become a caretaker to those who cannot help themselves. You are my servant and as such only accountable to me.”

(Yes they are which is a nice surprise. Truth be told I’ve only ever had one couple that hasn’t really worked out. I really wish it could have though. I really liked Charisx Azreal, but I want my foxes to have mates with active RPers.)

Mimoko couldn't even guess what Kimil was thinking, instead, she looked over at the vixen, biting back the slight worry she held. She had a father in her old home? So, she would be leaving Mimoko time to time to see him. What if she preferred it back home? What if one day Kimil wanted to stay there with her friends and family? No, this was selfish. She wanted her new mistress to be happy, even if it meant leaving Mimoko. But, Mimoko didn't want to lose Kimil.

She was just a servant, it was not in her place to decide what she wanted from Kimil. If the vixen wanted to go home she could, and, Mimoko would wait here for days, weeks, months, even years for her. She would sit patiently in the last spot she had seen her mistress and wait, staring at the sky hopefully. She would do all this just for Kimil.

(( Does Charis have a mate currently? ))

(No. Azrael and Charis where to be mates; however, since the RP started in late July of last year it’s only reached page two. As such I’m splitting the couple up so that Charis won’t continue to rot in my journal. This crushes Charis but at least he is free to move forward rather than being trapped in purgatory and miserable. I suppose I’ll just start looking through Phenoix and find Charis a mate in his own tribe)

Watching her servant Kimil frowned. If anything Mimoko seemed even more disturbed. Though there was a backing of resolve in her stance. Perhaps she is disappointed in having a master that has no heirs? My cousins might well be in a better position to have a servant since they are a part of the recognized nobility. Still Lady Ritilanishia surrendered her servants and has not foreseeable interest in returning to Tzara. I suppose that I must be the ultimate disappointment.

“Mimoko is there something that is bothering you? My apologies for my disappointment as a master. I might well be the cousin of the previous leader of the Eighth House leader, however since my name is not one of the official ones memorized by the foxes that keep lineages I will only ever be considered a lesser noble. My father needs no heir seeing as his business can be carried on by his tovarish’s child.” There now my status is plain for her to judge. Surely Mimoko will leave back to her Tribe to serve one of higher status…. Kimil didn’t want to admit how much this bothered her.

(*headsmack* I doubt Mimoko even knows anything about Tzara or it's workings... Kimil is just rambling... *headache* )

Mimoko shook her head rapidly, eyes widening. "No! I do not care of your lineage, I serve you because I want to." She smiled warily, curled tail wagging, however, her smile did falter, head looking down. "Just, I was thinking..." She trailed off, nervous suddenly. She truly had no right to ramble this nonsense she was about to, did she?

"When you found a mate or had children, or even...if you went home and wanted to stay home, what would happen of me?" She stopped, looking at her mistress, hearing the water in the not so far distance. "I would wait for you loyally, but how long would I have to wait?"

So then I am not a disappointment as a master? That is certainly a relief in a way. I am uncertain as to why; however, knowing that I am served because it is Mimoko’s choice is a comfort. Perhaps she knows I will do the most I possibly can to protect her and not overwork her. Leaving the brushy cover of the forest to find herself staring at the river Kimil pondered the next series of questions that were asked of her.

“As my servant you would be excepted to come with me. I have no desire to return to my home, nor do I believe I ever will. I took the chance to track down my cousins so that I could leave Tzara. That place is … unfriendly toward those not of noble blood, and constrictive to those who are. So your wait would be never.” Me with children.. such a strange thought. Though I should not say never to it, after all as the wind changes so does the heart. Still in this place so far from my home with nothing but myself to offer who would take me? "Well Mimoko shall we bath?" Kimil gestured to the water smiling with her mind a whirl of thoughts.

Her eyes widened, nearly popping out of her head. She stayed quiet for a bit until a smile broke out, curled tail wagging a mile a minute. "Really?" She called out, nearly attacking Kimil, but she knew better. "I am so glad." She smiled, a true and honest smile. She didn't need to say more, because she was truly glad. She'd be by the 'Phim's side forever, until the days grew short and one of them breathed their last breath, and even still Mimoko would serve.

Was she just working as a servant, or did Mimoko truly enjoy Kimil's presence? No, she knew she enjoyed it. She'd kick and fight if someone tried to move her away from Kimil, and Mimoko was fairly strong for her size. She was after all a working Sledfox. Once a circus fox, then, a fox that served the Yukon band, and now she was a servant.

"Yes." She smiled, glad to take a bath. "Shall I wash your hair?" She asked, head tilting, her own hair flopping into her eyes.

Trying hard not to grin at her once more bubbly servant Kimil shed the garments she was wearing setting the special floral necklace on the top of the pile, before slipping smoothly into the water herself. Fanning her wings she made certain to get every feather wet so she could start combing out the dust and grime of her travels. “Yes I would very much appreciate you washing my hair. Though I hope you realize I will be taming yours after.” Kimil sat back and looked over her shoulder at her servant. Such a dear fox. Always so eager to assist. Where I the head of her tribe I would not let her go. Their loss is my gain though.

Sitting up so she was comfortable Kimil had her back to Mimiko. Her straight blonde hair cascaded down her back while her dark ears and wings remained still. Her golden tail glided across the water’s surface seanding ripples cascading downstream. The water felt cool and kind against Kimil’s fur.

Mimoko was highly pleased when Kimil agreed, moving to remove her harness and set it down to her side. Now that she thought about it, why did Kimil wear clothing? Either way, she didn't mind, moving into the water and dunking her head into the water just to make it not cold to her fur. She ran her paws through Kimil's hair, nails running through the long hair to help break through the tangles gently. Her tail wiggled when she sat in the water, happy to be doing what a true servant should, combing her hair.

When she was done she grabbed a leaf, using it to dump more water down Kimil's long hair and once more combing through to make sure it was actually clean and untangled. When she was done she wagged her tail once more, ears lifting.

"Is is good?"
PostPosted: Tue Jun 21, 2011 6:29 pm

Nodding slowly Kimil turned to offer Mimoko a soft smile. “Yes much better. I fear that having such long hair is nothing more than a burden. Still I do so enjoy the feel of the wind rushing through it.” Seemingly abashed she turned to fully face the dog-fox. Mimoko’s hair glistened where it was wet. Feeling her heart thump louder Kimil hoped she wasn’t blushing too badly. The vixen before her was so incredibly cute and innocent. I should not be thinking such things of a servant. It is improper and degrading to her.

Smiling Kimil lifted a paw and took the leaf Mimoko was still holding. “Here now, let me see if I cannot tame that wild forest that you call hair. ” Moving slowly and carefully not to tug to harshly on Mimoko’s hair Kimil went about getting the tangles out. At one point she even pulled out a burr. How or when that got in there she had no idea.

Hm? Her hair was a mess? She blushed, head lowering down slightly. Well, she wouldn't argue. If Kimil said it was then it was. Her tail wiggled as her hair was combed through, ears lowering to help the vixen get access to her hair. These were the moments she enjoyed the most, the moments that Kimil was close with her. It made her truly feel special, even though she was just a servant.

"Thank you." She whispered as Kimil combed her hair, smiling at the water, and poking it with a claw. Truly, today was a good day. She just hoped nothing could ruin it.

“It is not a problem. Lovely fur such as yours does need taking care of from time to time after all.” Winking Kimil finished up making sure That there were no more snarls in Mimoko’s fur. Then she stepped back and folded her wings at an odd angle to pick up water. It was much faster to douse her bathing partner with her wings and not a leaf.

A fish dashed about in the water. It’s silver scales clearly visible. Off in the brush there was a soft crash. Stiffening Kimil looked off to her left toward the direction of the noise. “What is that?”

(( I do not know what she saw, so you can add that in the next post. ))

Mimoko's ears rose, looking up and flicking her ears back. She looked at Kimil, placing her paw near hers, but not touching, as was proper. "I will check for you so you are safe." She said, nodding before pawing out to see what the noise was. She pushed the bushes apart to see a....
