"It is a war," Ophelia's nod was patient. So were her words. She approved wholeheartedly of questions. They were, she felt, the mark of an intelligent person. "As a senshi, if you choose to pursue this part of your destiny, it will be your duty to protect those who are too weak to protect themselves."
"You will stand up against the Negaverse," the little feline was as serious as ever, "though, there is more than one way to achieve victory. You have your magic Andromeda, if you need to defend yourself. I will tell you more about that later."
Too many.
There were too many senshi in Ophelia's past-- young warriors who she'd awakened and then abandoned. It was always unintentional. The children always had lives of their own, and Ophelia's duties dragged her elsewhere.
This time, it seemed, she intended to change that.
"If you need me, Andromeda," those ocean eyes crinkled upwards at the corners with kindness, "I would be more than happy to stay with you, and to help you train. You can decide later whether or not you want to go on being a senshi for the rest of your life."
"You are stronger than you think, and I have seen stranger outfits than yours." Ophelia's lips twitched. "Trust me."

So it was a war. How long had a war like this been going on here without anyone being the wiser? Wait...wait! So was this why there were so many monster attacks in Destiny City?! Because of a war? But she was hardly capable of war! She didn't like fighting! Fighting, killing, beating on someone..no! She couldn't...she just...couldn't. Andromeda frowned and hung on Ophelia's every word. "It will be your duty to protect those who are too weak to protect themselves." Protect. She could do that. Andromeda could protect, and she could rescue, and she could help. But fight? She perked up a bit at the mention of magic, looking very interested in that. She could do magic?! "Cool! I wanna do magic! How do I do it? I want to see! Does it make cool things happen like sparkles and puffs of smoke? Can I make things?" That would be so cool! To Andromeda magic was like on television; you say a couple words and cool stuff happens. Even Harry Potter had that!
Now that she was aware of this whole magic thing she seemed a lot more at ease. She even looked up again when she was called Andromeda, as if it was something just as natural as being called Tabitha. "Stay with me? Like, live with me?" She gasped. "I've never had a pet before! Not that you're, like, a pet or anything but..but still! That would be really cool! And...I'd appreciate it a lot, apparently." She had a feeling she was going to need this. "Stranger outfits than mine? Really? Like what?" Andromeda smiled, bending at her knees and holding her arms out for Ophelia to come to her. She was very curious to hear what kinds of outfits were stranger than hers.
Suddenly she heard the click of footsteps above her, looking up in time to watch as a strangely dressed young man with orange hair jumped off the roof of one of the buildings beside her. He was wearing a large frilly hat and a very fancy outfit that included...tights and bubble pants. He looked like something out of a medieval film, running without even paying her a first glance as he darted in the direction of the park.
"...Well...he was in a hurry." Andromeda blinked, tilting her head a bit. "Was he another sen--OH CRAP!" Seeing someone in a hurry reminded her of the fact that she was waiting for her brother. Andromeda quickly scooped Ophelia up in her arms, taking off out of the alley and to the park again. Craaaaaaaaap!
