"That is one thing that pretty much everyone is sorely lacking at this point, is teamwork." It was true. Even as much as the senshi banded together for random events, individuals still had varying morals and opinions on very prevalent issues that affected them all. Killing, damage, organization and even knowledge were all contested by varying senshi. It was like trying to hold water into a shape without a container.

It was the last option that Adira chose- do nothing. She simply sat in his embrace, not offering one in return or rejecting it either. Sure, she'd been hugged before, but not really ever like this. Shallow hugs given by those who'd met previously at an event. Demanding hugs that swallowed her up by Neso. But never comforting hugs, never hugs without strings. It was odd. Adira liked it, but at the same time she had no previous experience on which to react from, so she just sat there.

"I can give you the schedule of the classes I attend to see if you can maybe make it to some of them." She smiled, glad to take her mind off of distressing topics. Blue eyes flicked upwards at the lock of blond hair that fell over her line of vision. This...was something new too, at least in the comforting sort of way. It seemed that Dietrich had less personal bubble popping issues than Adira, but for some reason it was alright. She couldn't really understand it, but it was.

Before she had a moment to think about it, however, they were right back to unsure topics. "I'm not sure. All I really know is that there are powers on both sides of this fight that I don't know a lot about." Adira paused. "And I don't like feeling so in the dark about everything." Maybe someday she'd get answers. Until then, she would ponder about the unknown in her daydreams and nightmares. Though, she wasn't really sure that knowing would make the situation any better. "How are you holding up in all of this?"

If they were all supposed to be on the same side then why did things like this happen? Didn't they all want to just protect everyone? Maybe that wasn't a common enough goal. But what could he do? He was just one person, one insignificant senshi who barely knew what he was even doing as it was. Something happened that night, though. It wasn't just a random Negaverse attack. Something happened...and senshi were behind that something. His hold around Adira tightened briefly as a faint anger settled in him, shoving it aside as quickly as he could. Now was not the time for that.

It was fine that she didn't return the hug, he wasn't expecting her to. Adira had looked like someone who needed some attention, someone who just...needed a hug. And so he was giving her one, and he would continue to give her one until she decided to push him away. She was free to do so whenever she wished.

"That'd be great." Dietrich replied to her offer, grinning at Adira. "But if I take the same classes as you will that make me the only man there? Oh no, what will I do. Alone in a room of violent women." He was teasing, obviously. Or he hoped it was obvious. He meant no ill will by it, and he was sure she didn't just take 'women's classes'. Adira wasn't just some dainty little lady. Adira was his captain. What he'd seen of her showed him she was strong and intelligent, and by no means just some violent little girl taking those feminist women's defense classes he had been referring to. And yes, Dietrich had a bad habit of forgetting people had personal bubbles. Oops.

But she had a point now. There were secrets among the senshi, but did there really need to be? They were on the same side. They had the same goals..didn't they? As he was asked how he was he paused a moment, lifting his head a little to rub at his forehead with the heel of his hand. Dietrich chuckled. "As well as I can, I suppose. Was up all night thinking. I'm not sure what to do now. I'm just...really confused. You know?" His eyes flickered down to the girl beside him, a small frown on his face.

Adira didn't push him away. It was rude, and even though she wasn't actively returning the hug she had a feeling that the proximity was helping her teammate as well. She noticed the hug tightening, looking up as a flash of anger crossed the normally passive man's face. With a blank look, Adira rest a hand on the arm looped around her shoulders. It wasn't a hug, but it was something (which was more than her normal personal bubble even allowed).

She did offer a chuckle, realizing that Dietrich was only joking about the room full of violent women. "You may want to be careful what you say, you just happen to be standing in a room full of violent women right now." Some of her defense classes were filled with women who wanted nothing more than to crush every man they saw, but the majority of her classes were mostly males anyways. She'd stuck out like a sore thumb for a few of them, being pretty much the only female in attendance. Having strength boosted by being a senshi helped her keep up for the most part.

"I suppose there is not much we can do but what we have already been doing." She sighed, resigned. "Though it becomes more and more apparent that not all of those on the side of good actually champion for it." It was despicable that some of those fighting on what was supposed to be the same side could do things that would incur those reactions. What on earth had they done to bring about what happened that night? "I'm confused as well." Adira looked across to her teammate. "This is going to sound incredibly corny, but as long as there is hope in some form, I'm willing to fight for it."

Their moment was interrupted by the sound of an electronic beep. A bit on autopilot Adira stood, taking the pizza's out of the oven with some careful wiggling of a cardboard circle. "You hungry?" It wasn't long before the two pizzas were cut into triangles and placed with drinks on the small dining table near the kitchen. There was lots more to be discussed that night between a captain and her teammate, but at least neither would be hungry while doing so.
