Silently, Lilith proceeded to follow Asch as they both scoured the rows and rows and shelves and shelves of books - none of which belonged to the fabled reference section. She blindly followed her red-haired companion, and so, when he suddenly stopped walking, she crashed right into him. Her immediate reaction was to blush from embarrassment, but a moment of thought lead her to wonder why Asch paused so abruptly in the first place. Her shame was replaced by agitation as she backed away from the Agent.

"Hey! The heck did you stop for?" Lilith glared up at Asch before she looked ahead of her at the "references" placed so teasingly near the entrance. She stared blankly at the dictionaries and encyclopedias for a second or two, then she grimaced and sighed. "Eh... Not exactly what I was hoping for..."

Lilith watched in confusion as Asch scanned the unhelpful reference shelf for... something. She blinked in surprise as he handed her an old-looking manual that, when she took it and looked it over, turned out to be just what she was looking for. A bright smile illuminated her face as she clutched the book gratefully.

"Awesome! I can finally find out if..." Too late Lilith realized that she had been speaking out loud, and she trailed off into silence for a moment, frowning. Her eyes looked back up to meet Asch's. "Thank you for helping me, Asch. I appreciate it. Oh - and my name's Lilith, by the way." Another smile painted her lips as she turned and began walking away to find some place to read in peace. She glanced back before getting too far and gave a friendly little wave. "See you."

...One could only hope that she would find what she was looking for in that little book. Or, at the very least, that she would like what she found. You could never really tell.
