Kyle had a wide grin. "Alright! Poke' Ball, go!" He shouted, tossing the ball at the Pikachu, and hoping for the best.

Pika was on the verge of fainting, so it was basically a very easy catch. In a flash of light, she disappeared into the Poke' Ball.

Kyle ran over and picked up the Poke' Ball, a smile on his face. He finally caught himself a Pikachu! "AWESOME!" He yelled to himself. Dante smiled as well, as Kyle returned the Treeko to his Poke' Ball. He then went back into town, bringing his Pokemon to the Pokemon Center. Sure, his other Pokemon were alright, but he wanted to help the Pikachu he just caught.

(I don't know, but I'm gonna skip that and let Pika out of the Poke' Ball for a bit.)
After he got his Pokemon back, Kyle walked outside, getting out Pikachu's Poke' Ball. The ball opened up, releasing the Pokemon in a flash of light. Kyle smiled at his new Pokemon warmly.

Kyle slowly crouched to get at eye level with the Pokemon. "Hello there. My name's Kyle." He told the creature slowly. "Sorry I had to rough you up earlier, but I hope we can be friends." He added. The funny thing was, in the Pokemon universe, beating up wild animals was how friendship started. In any other universe, Kyle would be in jail!

Pika looked up at him. Her ear twitched, lightning bolt shaped tail swaying behind her slowly. "Pika?" She tilted her head to the side.

Kyle saw the Pikachu tilt its head. "I don't think it understood me." He said quietly to himself. He then had a most likely stupid idea. "Pika Pika." He said, trying to talk to her in her language. He probably said something ridiculous without knowing it.

Pika's ears twitched, hearing the man infront of her try and speak her language. "Pika...?" That was, "Come again?"

"Pika Pika. Pika, Pikachu!" Kyle said, not having a clue what he was saying. Heck, he wouldn't be surprised if the Pikachu zapped him.

A surge of electricity passed from her paw to his body. But it wasn't meant to be painful. More of just a happy "Here's a nice present!"
