There are plenty of things he likes, but place one of those two things in front of him and he will be a happy man.
Hated Food: Mostly, he hates a select few condiments. Sour cream and mayonnaise. He can't stand the stuff. Therefore, his sandwiches consist of only mustard, and he eats his bagels plain before adding anything undesirable to them. For actual food though, he hates chili. Never could figure out why.

Singing: With a melodic voice, Al enjoys singing anywhere and everywhere. While he would enjoy a job with it, he is content with singing to himself or to others willing to listen.
Soccer: Playing a strong sport with other people keeps Al happy. He's a good asset to any team, strong and powerful, with good accuracy. The athlete in him makes him push himself to be his best, and he enjoys the game.

Good Sense of Humor: Al knows how to laugh. He is great at timing for jokes and enjoys a good punchline.
Self-Reliant: Never one to ask for help, Al supports himself and is proud of it. With his part time job, and the things he owns, he makes the most of everything. He doesn't, however, appreciate or want charity from others, if they ever think he needs it.
Loyal: There is a lot of rough, sharp edges to dig past with Al, but if you brave the danger and become his friend, he is loyal to the end. He may even become nearly possessively loyal, not wanting anyone to go hurt, or at times even go near someone he's actually decided to like.
Resilient: When the going gets tough, Al bounces right back and keeps going. If he trips during a game, he gets right back up and keeps playing, blood and all. If someone hurts him, he gets his revenge then goes back to life completely normal. There is very little in life that Al can't come back from.
Flaws:
Selfish: "It's mine" doesn't even begin to cover Al. He is possessive of what he has, and gives nothing to anybody.
Vindictive: Do not cross Al unless you know you're in for a long, gruelling and painful revenge. He doesn't take betrayal well, or really anything that could be deemed as vengeful. He will get his just desserts, and he wills top at nothing to get them.
Impulsive: Whether it's buying something he likes, or speaking without thinking, or trying something he thinks sounds exciting, Al will try anything without giving the thought into whether it's a good idea. Despite his bank account he will buy that designer jacket he has to have, and if someone asks him to skydive into shark infested waters he'll agree without even considering the risks. Thought doesn't work into it when he likes how something sounds.
Competitive: A sore loser, and a strong player in most things he tries, Al doesn't ever give up or stop trying. He has to win, no matter what he does.

Sketching: Amarilla enjoys sitting outside on nice days and sketching the scenery around her. If it's raining, then she will stay indoors and draw animals. She draws in a slightly cartoonish style, with some manga style thrown in and the whole thing chibi-fied. She's at her best when she's drawing cute and fluffy creatures in adorable settings, and doesn't do well with realistic drawings. Even when she is drawing scenery, everything seems slightly more rounded than it is in real life.
Amarilla Says: "Big features bring out the parental instincts in people and make them go 'Awwww'. I want people to do that with my drawings."
Jogging: Amarilla is an active person. She loves to be outside and jogging is a way for her to do both things at once! It's only natural for her to do two mile morning jogs every day, and jogging is a good way for Amarilla to learn the lay of the town, and meet new people.
Amarilla Says: "Jogging is how I wake up....If I don't go for a jog in the morning, I feel antsy and irritable...."
Listening to Music: Amarilla loves to listen to it. She can spend hours listening to various types of music, though country is by far her favorite. Music helps her concentrate on sketching, and is something to distract her when she starts to get tired when she's on her morning jog.
Amarilla Says: "Nothin' like a little Keith Urban blasting in your ears while your round that second mile!"
Window Shopping: Amarilla doesn't like to spend money unless she absolutely has to. That new outfit in the window of Hollystar sure does look cute, but in the window is where it shall remain. Amarilla is content to just walk form store to store, browsing their selections and gawking at all the lovely clothes, jewelry, furniture. She takes delight in feeling the fabric, sitting on the couch and trying on the sunglasses, but rarely the desire to actually buy anything. She can spend a whole afternoon meandering and buy nothing but a banana-strawberry-blueberry smoothie.
Amarilla Says: "If I buy it I'll never wear it, and I'll have less money. It's more fun to just imagine I have it then fill a closet with useless things."
Virtues:
I was just trying to help... Amarilla means well, she really does. She tries her hardest to get along with people, fight the good fight, and in general be a decent person. She'll stop and save a kitten from a tree, even if it means climbing up the danged thing to get to the yowling creature. She will put up a good fight in battles and try to carry her weight in everything. Unfortunately, her good intentions sometimes turn things into a bigger problem than a solution....
Amarilla Says: "But it's the thought that counts, right?"
Sincere - Amarilla can't lie. Like, she is unable to lie about anything, anytime. So if she says that she doesn't like you, believe it. If you ask her for advice, she will give it to you without a bit of hesitation. In battle, if she thinks her team is going to lose, then she won't stop to consider morale before saying whats on her mind. If someone is hurt and asks her how bad it looks, Amarilla won't sugar coat it to make them feel better. If their leg is torn to hell, she will tell them that their leg is torn to hell, and nothing less.
Amarilla Says: "Lying causes more problems than fixes them! I refuse to lie for someone's sake."
Positive- In Amarilla's mind, not only does every cloud have a silver lining, but every star, house, tree and person. She believes that there is good in everything and everyone, and she's the person the bring it out. She gives everyone the benefit of the doubt until they prove themselves to be anything but angelic.
Amarilla Says: "Why not trust that man who says his car is broken down? What has he done to you?"
Flaws:
Indecisive:-Amarilla has a hard time making decisions. This is in part due to her short attention span. She doesn't like to rush into things, and will often ponder every outcome possible before making a decision. Multiple scenarios go though her head before she even attempts to make a clear cut decision on the situation at hand. In a battle situation, her hesitance could cost her the battle, or cause her or her teammates injury as it gives the enemy time to strike first.
Amarilla Says: "Do I attack first? Or let my teammate go? Or maybe if they get close enough I can...."
Naive:- Her positivity and willingness to believe that everyone is a good person at heart can often stray into nativity. She has a hard time accepting when people betray her, but at the same time wants to give them a second chance, thinking that maybe this time they will change. She isn't very street smart, whether it be from her personality or because she was a floating soul for a while, and isn't used to present day. This makes her more susceptible to tricks and traps.
Amarilla Says: "I know they stole from me, but maybe if I bring them over again they will change..."
Flighty:- Amarilla has a short attention span. Maybe it's because she has a childish streak, or maybe because she's just so interested in everything. But she loves to explore, and nothing can hold her attention for long. She bounces from subject to subject, and bores easily with one thing after a little while. Battles are fun for a while, until the odds turn against her or her teammates start to do better than her.
Amarilla Says: "Hey look! That cloud is shaped like a.....oooo! A youma! Maybe I can...Oh MY Gosh a frog!"
Petty:- Amarilla is generally a happy-go-lucky individual. But cross her specific line, and she could teach bullheadedness to the cow itself. She refuses to listen, give in, give up, or any other method of compromise when she's reached this point. In battle, if she happens to be losing, she may just stop fighting altogether.On the flip side, she may also fight harder, wanting to punish the person not listening to her and letting her win. Amarilla tends to hold grudges, and she is much more vocal about them than the average person. If it's a teammate that's incurred her wrath, she may simply not help them when they need someone to assist them. If it's an enemy, she will jump at every chance to attack them, even if they aren't doing anything wrong.
Amarilla Says: "It's not fair that they should win and I should lose! That's not what being a hero is about! I'M SUPPOSED TO WIN!"
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Hair: Her hair is a bright pink, and is very long. Like to her hips or lower if the artist doesn't mind drawing that. it is also tied off at the bottom into two sections, and she has bangs that curl slightly.
This is the reference. Her hair doesn't have to be THAT long, but a similar style would be awesome.

Build: Around 5' 5", slender, but not overly skinny.
Fashion: She like cute but slightly conservative clothes. Longer skirts and sundresses, shirts that aren't low cut, but form fitting jackets. Her jeans are never tight and fit more loosely. Her favorite accessories are gloves, and she can't wait until winter every year so she can wear them!
Ryūjin (龍神) Also known as Ōwatatsumi, he is a dragon, as well as god of the sea. He resides in Ryūgū-jō, his palace under the sea built out of red and white coral, from where he controlled the tides with magical tide jewels. His great-grandson would become Emperor Jimmu.

Here's a SUPER simple ref. I can't add much details like the shells yet as my right hand is injured. But this is the basic clothing style and places where i want the colors. The blue dots are supposed to be bubbles. The artist also has complete freedom if they don't like this idea.
Colors: Main: Dark Red Secondary: Light peach
Top -- like the Styles I used as examples, I would like to have the shorter kimono Style with the full sleeves, but ending almost at knee level. the design could be like fish or coral? There should be an obi in a contrasting Color with a bow in the back. Bottoms -- If there can be no specific bottoms that would be great. But if I must have them, then maybe just a few ruffles to make the kimono bottom more full. Gloves -- No gloves Belt -- Does an obi count as a belt? Shoes --Color is the primary, simple heels (they will get fancier as she grows) somewhat sheer leggings in the secondary color. Shoulders -- Hmmmm... I don't have anything really specific for the shoulders. Accessories -- I'd like seashells in strings from her obi, or woven into it. Maybe an ankle bracelet..once she gets to squire or knight stage, I'd really like to see a circlet of shells in her hair.
Weapon -- Kogai Kanzashi these are hair ornaments worn by geishas and were said to be used sometimes in self defense.
Page: The kogai kanzashi is a couple inches in length. Made of metal. She can give a good poke with it.
Squire: The kogai kanzashi is now a foot in length. Still really only good for a good poke, though it can be used to channel magic now.
MAGIC: ABILITY: Status Change Ryugu-jo channels her magic through the hair ornament, and her ability gives her ally more "grace". That is, she points the ornament at an ally. That ally now has thirty seconds of increased agility and evasiveness. This can be used up to three times on the same ally or different ones, but she can only focus on one person at a time. So the whole team doesn't get a boost, just one person. Ryugu-jo also must remain still while using this ability, and if her focus is broken, the power wears off.
Knight: The kogai kanzashi can now grow to two feet in length. The edges are a little bit sharper so it stings more to be hit by it.

Job: Fourth grade teacher at Knightside Elementary
Hobbies: Exercise ~ Hope loves exercise, mainly jogging and yoga. She wakes up every morning at five am to make sure that she gets at least one jog into her daily routine. She tries to go at least four miles a session, if not more. She’ll occasionally jog with a friend, but she generally prefers to jog alone so that she can set her own pace and clear her head.
Hope does her yoga in the evenings, usually before dinner. She finds it’s the perfect way to relax and unwind after a long day of dealing with nine year olds. The twenty-five year old has been doing yoga since she was in high school and is quite adept at it, able to do difficult poses such as the Firefly and Little Thunderbolt.
Arts and Crafts ~ Hope has a passion for crafts. She loves puzzles, and do it yourself projects, and basically anything that requires a sewing machine, funky shape scissors, and a hot glue gun. She usually takes an inordinate amount of time on any one project because of her need to do it perfectly, but the finished result is something to be proud of. She likes crafts so much she even has a room in her home designated as her ‘Craft Room’. She sells a lot of her crafts on websites like Etsy, and also tries to make things instead of buying them, if she can. She rather spend the money on art supplies than something cheaply made and over priced that she could make herself.
Hope will even go as far as to make homemade props and crafts for her class. Her classroom is always brightly decorated with crafts that she's made and that her students have made. Every Friday a portion of the day is dedicated to 'Art Time' and Hope brings in her own supplies so her students can make things.
Reading ~ Ever since she was a kid Hope loved reading. She loves fantasy books, and trashy romance novels; anything that allows her to escape to a different world, or time. There’s nothing she likes better than to curl up on the couch and lose herself in a book. She generally has a stack of library books that are ever changing sitting on her kitchen table. Hope also enjoys reading aloud and will sometimes read to her students.
Virtues: Patient ~ “You have the patient of a saint” is usually what Hope hears when she tells people she’s a fourth grade teacher. And for the most part it’s true. It’s hard to annoy the twenty-five year old, or make her angry; especially when it comes to her students. She lets their antics roll off her back knowing that at nine years old they don’t have the same capacity for good behavior as adults do. Hope is patient with parents and other adults in her life as well though, not just children. She’s able to answer repetitive questions without getting snippy and short with them.
She’s also patient when it comes to waiting for things. She won’t nag, or try to rush things. She’s a firm believer in the saying ‘Good things come to those who wait’. If someone tells her they have the best surprise of her life, but she can’t have it for eighteen and a half minutes she’ll be able to wait that eighteen and a half minutes without bouncing up and down, or questioning what it is, or trying to find out what the surprise is. Of course, after the eighteen and a half minutes it’s a whole different story, but waiting until a specific time isn’t hard for Hope.
Public Face ~ Hope doesn’t drink, or do drugs, or curse. At least not in public. If she’s at home she'll have a glass of wine with dinner, or if she stubs her toe in her room a curse will slip out, but when she’s out in public she’s on her best behavior. Being a teacher of nine and ten year olds she doesn’t want to be seen as irresponsible by their parents and you never know when you’ll run into someone.
She also goes out of her way to be a good person, when she's in the public eye. She’ll help old ladies across the street, grab errant shopping carts before they hit cars, and stop older kids from beating up on younger ones. She believes that the only way she can encourage her students to be good people is if they see her being one.
Of course, when she’s behind closed doors there’s no one to see her not so good behavior.
Good Communicator ~ Hope’s gift in life is the ability to explain things well. She’s able to take complex subjects and break them down in such a way that anyone can understand. This leads her to being able to make connections with people more easily than others. Not friendships exactly, but close acquaintances.
Her gift with words and love of children is what lead her to become a teacher. She loves that she’s helping the next generation of children grow into educated upstanding adults. Hope’s communication skills also come in handy when speaking to the parents of her students. She’s able to ease first day of school worries, and fly through parent-teacher conferences without becoming nervous herself.
Driven ~ When Hope has a goal nothing will stop her from completing it to the best of her ability. She was near the top of her class at DCU not because she was super intelligent, but because she tried and put 110% effort into each and every class she took. She managed to finish in the top three of most of her 5K marathons because she pushed herself everyday to do better. Hope constantly pushes herself to be better, refusing to settle for second best. This encompasses those around her as well, if she has a failing student she won’t rest until she’s found a way to help them, extra credit, parent-teacher meetings- whatever it takes.
Flaws: Perfectionist ~ Everything Hope does has to be perfect. If it’s not perfect she trashes it and starts again. It’s one reason that it takes her so long to finish just one project. Puzzles she likes because once they’re done they’re perfect no matter what (unless she loses a piece which just about kills her). Her picture frames and especially her jewelry on the other hand are a real challenge. Unfortunately her perfectionism extends to more than just her crafts. When she’s getting ready to go somewhere she’ll be late before she goes out not looking perfect. This leads to her being late quite often.
Hypercritical ~ Hope doesn’t just expect herself to be perfect but she expects everyone around her to be perfect as well. The only exception to this is children, Hope is aware that children aren’t at the same maturity level to live up to her standards. Adults on the other hand...
When an adult does something wrong Hope doesn’t have much grace for them, especially if it was something that she had explained to them previously. Her never ending need for perfection can put a lot of people off, and while she knows this she can’t help it- whenever she looks at something the first thing she does is look for its flaws and no matter how small they are she will find them and shove them in your face.
Secretive ~ Hope is a woman with a lot of secrets. She doesn’t like to share information about her personal life or about her past. It makes her a great secret keeper for her friends, but not so great at being close with others. She’ll even go as far to tell small lies to stop conversations before they get too personal. Hope doesn’t trust many people with her secrets and is one reason she enjoys working with children, they don’t ask nearly as many personal questions.
Eats Her Emotions ~ Her dire need for perfection and the stress of keeping her life up in wraps can eat at Hope and when it becomes too much she turns to her best friend: food. Hope eats when she’s happy, sad, depressed, angry, or even bored. Food fills her in a way that nothing else can or so she believes. Her fridge is always stocked full of food, and the drawers of her desk in her class room are also stuffed with snacks.
She knows it’s unhealthy to eat to comfort herself, but she can’t stop herself. Her secretiveness and demands of perfection leaves Hope with few close friends, but food is always there. Food doesn’t judge her, or upset her. And food definitely doesn’t tell any of her secrets when it’s swimming around in her belly. Food is the one that’s always there for her.
If she finds herself in a situation where she finds herself wanting to eat and can't Hope will become stressed, and, depending on where she is, may even have something akin to a panic attack. To try and prevent this she tries to carry some kind of snack in her purse at all times, and will try and duck into the bathroom to eat if she needs to. If she really needs to eat and there's no escape, and she has access to food, she isn't past stopping to eat in the middle of a conversation. It's embarrassing, but she can't help it, food calms her down.

Hair: Long and curly to the small of her back like this only longer, and hot pink. Half of it is kept up in a messy bun, with most of her hair hanging down.

It's bejeweled to look all pretty. It's magical property is that in her hands it's the same weight as a sledgehammer, heavy and slow but able to be swung around. If anyone else picks it up it becomes its true weight, and is hard to pick up and swing.

* Tiara: Id like it to be Red, with a white stone in the middle. * Collar: The color should be a deeper red, like this * Bodice: White, sleeves cut to look like feathers. Comes up to create almost a more form fitting turtle neck , also white. * Skirt: I really like this idea for the skirt, Colored white, maybe fade to red at the bottom? * Brooch: feather in white * Front Bow: The bow is black * Gloves: Gloves start a little higher than this, without the piece attached to the finger. Stops at the wrist. White Feathers around the wrist area.. * Back Bow: Also red, longer tails on the bow that look like feathers * Footwear: Unsure as of now * Other: Nothing right now.
Artist, if you have a FABULOUS idea, please tell me! My idea is literally on of the top thing, so I'm super open to anything you have in mind.

Attack #1 NAME: Feather-fall Cloud! [What it does] Sailor Grus raises her hands, and wind swirls around her, feathers filling up the space until she is unable to be seen. Can be used this way as an escape technique, or Grus can send the feathers at the enemy, surrounding them and effectively blocking their view, giving others a chance to attack or escape.

[Cons] May by blown away/manipulated by wind attacks. May also serve as a way for the enemy to escape as it hinders the view of everyone.
[Idea?] I could see this being a nice combo with a fire attack...
Attack #1a NAME: Feather-fall Strike! [What it does] Upgraded version of the previous attack. The feathers move faster and the edges are sharper, causing minor cuts/damage (think like a paper cut)

[Cons] May by blown away/manipulated by wind attacks. May also serve as a way for the enemy to escape as it hinders the view of everyone.
[Idea?] Maybe when combined with a wind-type move, the feathers will cause more damage since they are moving faster? See also possible fire combo above.
Attack #2: NAME:Steel Feather Barrage! [What it does] Think Pokemon attack"Steel Wing" married to Jupiter's "Oak Evolution." She spins once, thrusting her hands outward, and a ring of steel feathers flies from her body.

Journalism: Tag is a reporter for Destiny City’s local news station, WKDC, Channel 6 News. He’s a pretty well known reporter in the city, noted for his good looks, charisma and dedication to the story. He is typically assigned to crime or investigative stories, and in his interviews doesn’t shy away from asking the tougher questions if it means getting a more cutting-edge story. Journalism is not just a job for Tag, it’s a major influence on his life and aspirations. His fascination with journalism began in high school writing for the school newspaper. He quickly discovered how the news media influence the minds of the public, and this type of power was very intriguing to him, so he continued on in this path. He graduated with a degree in Broadcast Journalism from DCU while maintaining an internship at WKDC. His internship became a paid job and he quickly rose through the ranks after scoring well with several female demographics and covering groundbreaking stories. He’s content with the position he holds now, but is willing and ready to do anything it takes to rise further in the ranks.
Picking up Chicks: Tag is a single, attractive, charismatic guy with local-celebrity status and only in his mid 20s. So, yes, he gets around the block. He enjoys the single life and having one-night stands. He doesn't rule out the possibility of girlfriends, but he doesn't get involved too seriously in a relationship. He's just looking for fun and sex, and if things start getting serious, something usually goes awry and he ends up single again. He's a little bit of a commitment-phobe, but he wouldn't admit that.
Hanging Out with his Son: Tag has a two year old son, Liam, from a past relationship. Liam lives with his mother, Chelsea, a few blocks away from his apartment. While Tag wasn’t ready to raise a son, he found that Liam has been a blessing in his life. His relationship with Chelsea has lost whatever romance once existed, and was never too serious in the first place. Tag is a good father to Liam, but does not hold custody, only visitation rights. As such, he does his best to show to Chelsea that he is there for the both of them, and he's developed a strong platonic relationship with her that extends outside of their time spent with Liam.
Basketball: Tag plays basketball with his friends in a court across the street from his apartment building. He’s a decent player but the worst of the guys he plays with, but it’s a good source of fitness and a good deal of fun. He played some intramural basketball in high school, and at DCU he just played with his friends in no official league. Basketball is much more a form of exercise and social bonding than it is a truly passionate hobby of his own, but it is something he does often.
Virtues:
Charismatic: Tag knows how to tell a story in a way to captivate his audience, or just to entertain a group of friends. He uses his words carefully, and knows how to sweet talk his way out of anything. And no, babe, those pants don’t make you look fat because there’s nothing out there that can make you look anything but the most beautiful woman on this planet. He panders to what he thinks people want to hear. He has found that his charisma has helped him in some situations in getting what he wants.
Hard-Working: Whatever the case may be, Tag will put in all his effort. Morals and integrity can be set aside when Tag is assigned to a task. If he’s assigned to cover a story about the city’s oldest dog’s birthday, he won’t be happy about it, but he’ll make one hell of a story out of it. Luckily, these types of stories are beneath his ranks, he is usually assigned to investigative or crime stories, in which he gets right into the action and reports the story as best as it can be told. Tag gives his work his 110%.
Charitable: Tag isn’t in this business for the money, he’s in it for the power. He’s a financially stable man with a decent salary, and he also donates a fair amount of his earnings and time to local charities (often underprivileged children or medical research) and often pushes to sponsor these charities in his broadcasts. Ever since Liam was born, he’s donated much more, and more frequently to children-oriented programs. His motivations for his charitable donations aren't too selfish - he doesn't do it for the publicity or attention, but a bit of self-gratification. As a newscaster, he inspires to influence the world, and donating helps him feel that he is doing just that. By giving back to the community and helping others, he feel he is making some impact on the world and asserting a level of power and influence. He does care about the charities he donates too, he has compassion, but his donations are his way of inflating his own ego and demonstrating power in a healthier manner.
Flaws:
Power-Hungry: Tag’s a pretty well-known reporter now, but he’d kill to become an anchorman. Don’t tempt him. He is obsessed with the idea of moving up, getting ahead, and being the top dog in every aspect of his life. He desires to be the alpha male in every room, and he has no problem flushing out his competition. To Tag, the ends almost always justify the means when a position of power is the reward.
The Douchebag Factor: You know that trait some people have, its something annoying about them but you can’t quite put your finger on it? But whatever it is, it causes you to label them as a douchebag? Tag is one of those individuals. He’s over-confident, flaunts his success, fully aware of his good looks and fan-following, loud, obnoxious, chauvinistic, and pretentious. Its not that he is an a** hole or mean to others, he just carries himself in such an obnoxiously perfect way that makes you want to punch him in his face.
Full of s**t: The man has charm - but is what he saying truthful? Not always. He uses his charm to exaggerate stories, and often even flat-out lie. With his beautiful white smile, handsome face and carefully-chosen words, it is hard to detect when Tag is being honest or not. Hell, sometimes he hardly knows. He isn't a pathological liar, but he allows himself to believe in the mistruths that he tells, it eases his conscious. Because if Tag were to tell the truth, then truthfully babe, you do look fat in those pants - but its not the pants that make you look that way. He has no issue or guilt using his charm to tell a lie if it means getting what he wants, and he's grown so accustomed to it that its practically an impulse. As a journalist, if a story isn't that interesting, he'll beef up the story by adding in his own version of the story. He'll get the facts out there, but he knows how to lie to make a story of the city's oldest woman blowing out her birthday candles sound like the world's oldest woman defused a bomb using only her breath. For bigger stories that are more cutting edge, he'll report his own opinions and findings as facts, tailoring the story in a way that satisfies him.
Self-Focused: Tag is mostly out in the world for himself, and he doesn't mind stepping on the back of others to serve himself. Many of his actions are motivated by his self-interest and he has a very manipulative mindset. Behaviors such as his charm and charitable donations are often fueled by self-serving factors. His selfishness can be found in his reluctance to selflessly help others and his vocalized self-concern whenever a situation arises that may impact a group he is included in. He tries to mask his selfishness and manipulative nature with charm, but it is not impossible to see past. Consequently, maintaining long-term relationships is a challenge as he is suspected of ulterior motives.

Underground Doctoring: Derek was once training to become a general surgeon, nearly halfway through attaining his residency. However, things didn’t quite work out well on account of his inability to control his alcoholism. He lost his job, but works as an underground doctor, seeing several patients under the radar. It’s not at all legal, and his operating table is as sterile as a kitchen table could be, but he’s a skillful surgeon and can treat most issues. He has quite an array of medical supplies, either “borrowed” from the hospital, or purchased from a medical supplies store or a drug store. However, since he does not own an MRI or X-ray machine (the are insanely highly priced), he’s not always as good as a hospital for everything. But he’s much more affordable, and there’s no questions asked. This is more than just a profession to him, its his passion. He knows he has a gift and believes there is an obligation to do what he does, he feels it is what he was meant to do with his life and to convince himself of otherwise would be selfish. Although he works illegally, he still abides by the Hippocratic oath, swearing to do no harm, practice euthanasia, or do unnecessary procedures. To not follow this oath would not only cause him to be working illegally, but also unethically.
Guitar: Derek plays the guitar in his pastime frequently, though doesn’t have any formal training, so he’s not really that good. As a surgeon, he has particularly skillful dexterity with his hands, but his musical sense is offbeat. He usually just plays on his alone time, sitting on the couch with the television on and a six pack by his side. He sings along on occasion and is a better singer than he is a guitar player – he has a nice rough and raspy singing voice – but nobody has ever heard him sing, so he’s completely unaware of this talent.
Crying to Romance Books and Movies: Uh, what? Of course not. (He totally does.) Chick flicks and romance novels touch his heart and make him bawl like Little Bo Peep without her sheep. He’s a total Nicholas Sparks fanboy, watching The Notebook at least once a month. It’s a hobby he keeps on the down-low, usually insisting he’s watching the movies “just because” they are on TV, or that the books were “left behind” by some girl. He’s not very good at covering his tracks on this, however.
Bar Hopping: When he lets himself go out instead of sulk in his lonely and often drunken misery at home, he spends his lonely time at a bar. He doesn’t go out with friends, although he meets new people when he gets out, occasionally bringing someone home with him. However, he rarely ever seeks to meet with them again. The bar atmosphere is pleasant for Derek, its familiar and reminds him of the days when things were better, and it helps him crack out of his depression-formed shell. His favorite bar is The Red Rooster, a shady bar two blocks from his apartment.

Virtues:
Will Go to Extreme Measures: Derek won’t let his patients die on his table. He’s working as an underground professional, so he doesn’t worry about the legality of procedures that hospitals worry about – he’s not concerned with being unorthodox. If that’s what it takes to save his patient, then by all means he must do it. When it comes to medicine, Derek remains to be optimistic about results – if only he could be so optimistic in his personal life. This sort of work ethic carries through to any aspect of Derek's life that he may be passionate about. However, his depression and laziness has created a barrier that bars him from becoming passionate about very much, so his extremity is most seen in his medical work.
Dependable: Whether it’s a social situation or otherwise, Derek has been proven time and time again to be a nurturing and caring friend. He can become very selfless and makes himself available for others, so he is always there when they need his assistance. If it’s warm shelter, hot food or a cozy bed, Derek is willing to provide it for any friend – and often a patient in need. Furthermore, Derek is an excellent secret-keeper, he’s rarely betrayed the trust of anyone: friend, acquaintance or stranger. The concept of doctor-patient confidentiality is something he practices in his medical and social life. He has a relaxed presence, which helps people open up to him. If someone wants information out of him, they’ll have to torture it out of him, and even so, he’ll do his best to keep his mouth shut. [[Note: He doesn’t have any defenses of his own, so he doesn’t want any trouble to be brought in through his door (although in his business, it’s almost inevitable).]]
Smart & Informed: Derek is a brilliant and skillful surgeon. He performed well academically throughout most of his life (a few mishaps in his early years in undergraduate college on account of his drinking problem, but he pulled through), and he knows his profession well. Even though he no longer works inside the medical system, he still keeps up with new developments and reads medical journals, keeping him informed and aware of what progress can be made. He’s also, to a lesser extent, informed about many other topics as well, including but not limited to: politics, economics, law, debate, music, film, pop culture, and most sciences (biology, physics, and chemistry in particular). For these topics, he knows enough to maintain a conversation about them, but claims no expertise.
Sociable: When Derek actually gets off his a** and does something in a social environment – usually hitting up a bar – he displays fair social skills, although he must force himself out of his shell to behave this way. A lot of his interactions carry faked enthusiasm and happiness to maintain politeness. That isn't to say he would fake a relationship or be insincere with his opinions of others, but that he would do his best to mask his own issues in social situations. Even so, his depression is still pretty visible. He’s friendly, has a good sense of humor, can carry a conversation, and likes to flirt. He’s quite a romantic. Although he doesn’t seek out any further romantic pursuits (just seeks sexual encounters, if anything), he has a soft spot for romanticism and emotions, a strong believer in the idea of one true love. In Derek’s life, however, that true love has come and gone.
Flaws:
Alcoholism: Derek has suffered a (nearly) lifelong battle against alcoholism. It started in his teenage youth, but didn’t come into full form until college. It started with parties, and then he began drinking more often. Realizing his drinking was headed down a bad road, he decided that he needed to sober up before it became something he could no longer control. He forced himself to sober up and focused his energy in his studies instead, and managed to get into medical school. He continued his path of sobriety until his fiancée’s death, and things quickly tumbled after that. He allowed himself to drink to ease his pains, and as a result his alcoholism returned worse than before. This then resulted in him losing his position in the residency program for drinking on the job, which only led to his drinking becoming heavier. Derek is not always drunk, but he drinks every day. This isn't something he does because he thinks that having a beer is a nice way to 'kick it' for the day. He must drink, he cannot go a day without having a drink. The longer he stays sober without a drink, the more agitated he gets, the more uncomfortable he gets, and the more he feels he needs that drink. He is an addict, not simply a heavy-drinker. Sometimes its just a beer as he watches his made-for-TV movies or has a sloppily put together lunch. Sometimes he swaps a beer for a Bloody Mary. These cases tend to be his most common type of drinking, but when he gets depressed (often initiated by watching these sad movies which then trigger his thoughts about his fiancee), he'll drink more heavily to self-medicate. His alcoholism interferes with much of his life, and his previously mentioned virtues. When drunk (not just "tipsy"), his dependability and sociability suffer. He is still friendly and caring towards others when drunk, but he is much less controlled. His inhibitions are obviously affected, so his judgements are not always best despite his better intentions.
Depression: This ties in very much with Derek’s alcoholism, as the depression is what caused Derek to return to alcohol after saying sober for so long. His depression stems from the loss of his former fiancée, Jenny, who mysteriously vanished in the late summer of 2010, only to be found dead several weeks later. In Derek’s depression, he isolated himself from his friends and family and spends much of his time in solitude, still grieving over his losses. Whenever someone tries to reach out to him and help him in any way, his depression is a challenge. He complains frequently about the miseries of life of whatever size, is frequently unfocused in casual social situations, and lets job opportunities slide. His depression is no big secret to those who he is close with, his symptoms are visible and he frequently talks about his feelings of worthlessness and his pessimistic views on himself and life. However, he is unlikely to refer to himself as 'depressed', but wouldn't deny someone else calling him such. Even if he admits to his depression, seeking help is something he would likely refuse.
Sloth: In many aspects of Derek’s life, he is pretty lazy. He doesn’t clean up his apartment that often (though rest assured, his operating area and tools are as sterile as he can make them be), he often is too lazy to shave, and he hasn’t really spent much time looking for a real job since being fired from the hospital (working underground seems to be paying the bills by just enough). His friends may try to drag him out of the apartment, and he wouldn't mind going out every now and then with them (and enjoys it when he dies), but would find going out with friends more than once a week would be too tiring. He'll go out on his own when he feels like it, alone, but going out with friends and making plans is tiresome. He could seek rehabilitation or therapy for his other issues, and its not that he doesn’t want to get better, he just views that as too much of an effort and a time sink. He’d rather be home and sulk.
Bleeding Heart: Derek is incredibly emotional, and while some may find his sensitivities a good thing, it is often debilitating. It is not easy for him to let go or turn away from someone in need, regardless of who they are and at times regardless of what consequences he may face as a result. He never heard "Billy Don't Be a Hero" and would find that notion ludicrous if he did. He must do everything he can. This would be the downside of his willingness to go to extreme measures - he must do everything, for everyone, with no excuses. He must be a hero, and if he fails, he will beat himself over it. He takes a loss very personally.

Weapon
Page-- His first stage would be an icicle, about the size of a dagger. Sadly, not sharp like a dagger, it wouldn't be able to be used for stabbing as what would be a sharp end has smoothed out and rounded. It does not melt in his hands, but it is very cold and has all properties of ice.
Squire-- At this stage, the icicle has evolved quite drastically! It is now a baton (made out of some suitable material), and looks like the Rod of Asclepius. The 'snake' of the rod is made out of ice. It also now contains magic! Squire Kos can touch an injured ally with the point of the rod of Asclepius (perhaps with the icy head of the 'snake') and channel energy to heal the ally, at the expense of tiring himself out. The longer he touches the ally with the rod, the more healed they become and the more tired he gets. At the Squire stage, his ability to heal is not supremely effective as he tires very quickly. He can heal scrapes, bruises, and shallow cuts. As for internal injuries, while he can repair them, he will likely run out energy and faint before finishing, and the ally will likely be left with exterior wounds.
Knight-- At this stage, the baton has evolved into a staff modeled after the caduceus. Once again, the snakes and wings would be made of ice. As in the previous stage, Knight Kos can touch an injured ally with the point of the staff and channel energy to heal the ally, at the expense of tiring himself out. The longer he touches the ally with the staff, the more healed they become and the more tired he gets. At the Knight stage, his ability to heal is more effective and he doesn't tire quite as quickly. He can heal scrapes, bruises, cuts, As for internal injuries, he can repair minor internal injuries and be exhausted, but severe internal injuries would cause him to faint before fully healing his ally.
For the magic in both stages, if someone were to touch Kos, they may risk breaking his focus and ending the healing process. However, if he is very focused in channeling the magic, it is possible that he can ignore a simple tap or touch (although being attacked would definitely break his focus).

Hobbies:
Cooking -- Because she's a vegetarian and her family is most definitely -not- she had to learn how to make a lot of food for herself. Her parents didn't think there was a point in making a meal just for her so they often left her out of the family meal planning and she was left on her own. So she started amassing a horde of vegetarian cookbooks and playing with flavors herself. She love spending time in the kitchen and creating things that she can eat without feeling like she's missing out by not eating dead fluffy things (fish don't count. Fish aren't cute and fluffy)
Reading -- Books, books and more books!. Rei adores reading and will bury herself in anything that involves a cover and pages no matter the genera. Her parents have a large library and she spent most of her childhood there (the books were better parents than her actual parents). Her favorite stories fall in the suspense or horror genera and she loves the thrill she gets from those types of stories. She has a copy of Dracula that she's read so many times it's pretty much falling apart and only stays in order because she's very careful with it.
Tormenting the peasants -- Rei is better than you and while she knows it she also likes to make sure that you know it too. She likes to make sure that every day has at least one reminder of how much better than you she is and how much she likes it when you kiss her boots. Did you like that shirt? She's sure it looks -so- much better with paint all over it. Did you need that report? Well now the pond needs it and you should learn to share better. Are you proud of that A on that social studies project? Take a look at her A+ with the half page note from the teacher on how detailed she was.
Feel better now? More in touch with your place in the universe? Good.
Yo-yo-- Not -really- a hobby but she does have one she got in a stocking one year and she can often be found lounging in a chair and absently letting it roll beside her while she thinks. Somehow the repetitive motion is relaxing to her and she can let her mind wander while her body concentrates on the muscle movements.
Virtues:
"This is the way it is, k?" Straightforward/Honest -- Straightforward/Honest -- Rei is well known to be the one to go to when you want to know the -truth- of something. She doesn't like edging around things and will tell you honestly what she thinks of a situation or person. She doesn't sugarcoat things for anyone because she believes if you know the truth then you can better prepare for what is coming. Without proper facts you can not react correctly or completely to anything and are at a disadvantage. To her truth is power and so long as you have the truth you have power over any situation ((Note: For the downside to his virtue see "Tactless"))
"If we do this now then it's started when they really want it." Proactive -- She likes making sure she's one step ahead of what anyone expects of her. She loves the praise she gets when she's already done something before someone asks for it. Being prepared for everything is a trait she looks for in everyone around her. She fully believes that if you are always on top of things then you can't ever be surprised or unprepared (and there's nothing worse than being unprepared)
"That's against everything i believe in" Morally Dedicated -- When Rei believes in something she will stand her ground for it until the death. She does not waver and will not be swayed from her position no matter who or what gets in her way. She believes that once you've made your choice and taken a path you should go down it until the end instead of trying to hop onto another road part way. If you can't hack it you shouldn't have started at all.
"Learning for Learning's sake" Intellectual -- Rei loves to learn and so she keeps an open mind to new ideas and new things. While she will not budge from her own views she is not opposed to -hearing- other views and learning what goes on in the rest of the world. Truth (and so knowledge) is power and the only way to get to the truth is to keep learning everything you can.
Flaws:
"No, i have no filter between my brain and mouth, why?" Tactless -- Rei's honesty can also get her into trouble. She really has no problem telling you -exactaly- what she thinks of you in great detail. If it makes you feel bad and makes you cry then more power to her because that's just more proof that she's so much better than you are. If you can't take what she has to say then you are weak and pitiful and not worth her time or effort. Most people think that she does this on accident and just doesn't' realize what she's saying before she says it but this isn't the case. She just honestly doesn't care if you get hurt by what she says. ((Note: She thinks that everyone should be able to handle the truth and that being able to face it without flinching makes you stronger))
"Queen of the whole damn universe" Better than You-- She knows it and doesn't care to -prove- it because obviously she already is and you should just get over yourself and admit it. She never fails. She just finds many many ways that things don't work. She's never wrong and you always are. She is the End All of everything and will let you know it if you question her. ((Note: Yes this means she -will- make enemies in the Negaverse. Yes i want this. I fully expect and want for anyone higher than her smack the s**t out of her for it at some point.)).
"Pay attention to -ME-." Craves Attention -- Under all her bragging and bluster and overpowering attitude she's your average wibbly little girl who just wants someone to tell her she's a good girl and she's done right. She -needs- those around her to tell her she's awesome to keep up her facade that she is. She takes in praise and needs it just as much as she needs oxygen. So those around her who do shower her with praise will get special treatment and she will do anything to keep them around her and loving her. She has been known to take this to the extreme to make sure she is the one getting attention. On one occasion it even caused her path to cross with the local juvinal detention system.
"...." Short Fuse -- * Rei's temper has a very short fuse and is extremely explosive without a lot of notice. She gets overly angry at the littlest things and tends to 'RAGE' about things long after she should have let it go. Skuff her boots? You are now public enemy #1 and she -will- get everyone she knows to make your life a living hell (At least until someone else pisses her off and she forgets you existence). Along with this, because she generally gets very angry about it, she has no patience for incompetence of any sort. She'd rather scream and rant at you and do everything herself than have things not get done on -her- schedule.
Tidbits:
Afraid of the Dark -- Afraid is probably an understatement. She's absolutely terrified of it. She carries a little mini flashlight on her key chain because she never wants to be without a light. Usually if the power goes out in a public place she is glad that no one can see that she's the one screaming like the world just ended. She screams and curls up in a ball and -will not- move until there is a light of some sort that she can use to see with. Having a small light does not completely get rid of her fear but it makes her -slightly- more comfortable (Imagine being five and scared of the dark. Even if you have a flashlight you'll still jump at every noise and weird shadow, she will too)
What Parents?-- Rei's parents were never a big force in her life. She was the third child and by that point her parents had everything they expected out of her elder brother (heir to the family) and sister (little miss prefect) so they had no use and no time for another child. Hobbies: Scandanivian History - Ever since Ash discovered that the sword her father keeps above the mantle pieces was -actually- weilded by a Viking warrior she has been obsessed with her family's history and the history of the Scandanivian areas. She has mountians of books on the subject, studied Norse history in college, and works at the History museum to help out with their small (which rather annoys her) Viking collection. Her apartment is full of little replica trinkets she's picked up over the years and a jaw with "Norway or Bust" scribbled on it where she keeps her future vacation fund. She even went to a festival celebrating the Vikings one year and bought a really cute outfit to wear around despite her friends thinking it was silly.
Dungeons and Dragons - Three bags of dice, mini-library of books, pewter figures and all. Ash got into DnD when she was in highschool and has been playing on an off ever since. She usually finds groups through message boards or at the local gaming shop but has, sadly, not found one she'd like to hang around with perminatly. She finds it a realaxing way to spend an afternoon because it means she can completely ignore the real world and unlike videogames she does actually get social interaction.
Painting Minatures - Speaking of her nerdy hobbies Ash also enjoys spending hours hunched over a magnifying glass with -teeny tiny- paint brushes putting delicate details on her mini's. Or some times it's someone elses' mini because they can't paint and she can get some extra spending money for it. She's even entered a few of her masterpieces in contests but hasn't gotten higher than an honorable mention (yet!).
Gardening Despite living in an apartment in the middle of the city Ash LOVES to garden. She has flower boxes all the way around her balcony, one large fern in the corner, a few low light plants inside, and some lucky bamboo that her favorite professor gave her when she graduated. Her favorite flower boxes are the two she's filled with herbs because it means if she opens her balcony door she can smell them all day.
Virtues: Mind like a steel trap Intuitive -- She blames too much tv and exposure to nerds for this but Ash is very good at making giant leaps when she's thinking about something. Since she's into a variety of different things she has a large base of knowledge to pull from and bypass giant chunks of what most people would call 'needed information' and still come up with the right answer. Her friends in college used to joke about her being able to just 'know' things even though half the time she was basically pulling it out of nowhere. It helps her at work given that she will often think of looking at something very odd for answers and finding things much faster than her superiors would have found on their own.
All Hail The Underdog! Just -- Ash believes that everyone should get equal treatement and this genereally leaves her standing on the side even if that means she has to rebel against what scoiety's telling her is right. She has very strong personal morals and will fight tooth and nail against anyone who tries to go against those. She never backs down from a fight about what is right and what is wrong and has been a unlikely alley to a few people in her time. Her friends find this one of her best virtues because they know no matter what happens Ash won't let 'evil' win.
A-line skirt please. Sever -- Some people would consider this a flaw but most who know Ash count her nature as a virtue. While most people will let little mistakes go when Ash expects something of someone she expects it to be right, and she means right. She doesn't let people around her make mistakes and will push people to succeed helping them however she can. Even if this means staying up all night to get them through a problem or forgoing her own recognition so they get some she will do it to make sure everything is perfect.
Flaws: Rock and a Hard Place Stuborn -- When Ash sets her mind to something it takes heavy machinery and occasionally dynamite to move her. Even when she is wrong, and sometimes knows she is wrong, she will continue with whatever argument, action, etc that she has declaired as right. This makes arguing with her like shashing your face into a brick wall, repeatidly. She has even taken her stuborn nature so far as to do it on purpose just to make things harder on someone else because she has the ability to get her way and doesn't like them. Many of her collegues at the museum know it's easier to just let her do things her own way, and get in trouble later, than to try to stop her.
But i -like- being alone Socialy inept -- Ash spent a lot of time studying and not a whole lot of time socializing as a child and young adult. Because of this she -much- prefers to be alone and to interact with people via some sort of outlet. She's okay playing DnD because no one thinks she's weird there. She likes chatting on message boards and things online too but put her in a room full of people and she'll go hide in the corner and pray that no one notices she's there. She never knows what to say and when she does say something it usually makes people stare at her oddly so she'd much rather just not.
Well the "Man" can shove it Rebelious -- If she were to ever write a book about her life the title would be 'Anything You Can Do I Can Do Better'. Ash -never- takes 'its impossible' as an answer and considers rules to be something other people have to follow. She's going to do whatever she wants no matter what anyone says, even moreso if they specifically tell her she can't. She hates being told she can't or shouldn't do something and will often go out of her way to do it anyway just because. She hates authority and thinks she could get so much more accomplished if people would just let her get on with things.

A good example of one of the times that his persistence paid off was when his mother told him that if he managed to get an A in all of his classes he would be able to paint his room any color that he wished. That semester, Tobias got nothing less than a 95% on everything he turned in. Paint the world with color - Alexandre likes to paint, a lot. In fact he would spend hours painting with he could, if he didn't have other things to do. His parents have been nice enough, they really had no choice, to set aside a room in their home for him. Inside he keeps a blank canvas, or three, with an easel , and all the paints and smaller supplies he could need/want. Perhaps it's his parents feeling a need to pamper their only son? Seeing how much they spend on his hobby, though he considers it a passion. While some people might like the bold, thick, colors that oils and acrylics provide it's not his style. It's the softer, near translucent, quality that one can obtain from water colors which Alexandre favors. He likes how soft colors can be used to make things look delicate and flowers can look near fragile. He doesn't like painting people, or objects. It's on the very rare occasion he'll paint objects, but never people. He doesn't like having to work off of pictures, actual people, or creating and keeping a mental image. With landscapes he can alter the mental image, or omit something from a photograph. It's sort of whatever strikes his fancy at the moment. Where as with people he feels that if the idea changes it can alter the picture, where something previously painted just doesn't look right.
Someone has green fingers, and it's not paint - Plants, he loves plants. The small green house, which is part of the house, used to be tended by his mother but no longer. She had taught her son, from the time he could walk, to nurture plants and it's become a labor of love - similar to painting. The only thing is, is that these plants aren't all harmless or grown for pretty flowers. In fact, a good part of the green house is filled with poisonous plants. It's not that he's planning to poison someone, or someones, but he finds it amusing how easy it is to have a deadly weapon right in his hands, to be able to kill someone, and no one has a single clue. These deadly plants are ones most people would never look at twice, they may even have them themselves. Included in his little green house are foxglove, narcissus, aconite, mandrake, oleander, bleeding heart, and lily of the valley.
Road rage? Just a little bit! - Have you ever seen someone, behind the wheel of a car, with their windows up and wonder what they were saying, since it looks like there talking or singing? If it's Alexandre it's likely he's ranting about some idiot on the road, possibly a person who cut him off or someone going far too slow for his taste. Maybe it's not a hobby...but it is something he does on a fairly regular basis. It's really not as random as it may seem. It's just that he likes to vent his anger, rather than actually hit someone or something (not to mention he can't like jump out of his car and beat someone, since he's driving). But it's just that he can't believe how poorly some people, especially the elderly or very young, drive and how very dangerous they are! He's seen a truck driver riding so close to the back end of a minivan, with children inside! He really can't help but become angry by what he considered dangerous driving, which can potentially put other peoples lives at risk. And seeing as he can't like jump out of his car, and into their vehicle, he needs some way to vent the frustration and anger. Hence his loud rants, it really might be comical to listen to even. Over time his bouts, of road rage have become quite common place, it seems there is always an idiot on the road! It's a wonder so many idiots exists and actually have licenses to drive, someone really needs to just patrol for such people and remove their license. The rantings aren't just contained to the car though. If it's been a particularly bad day, either lots of idiots or one really stupid person, he will bring his rant home and go on and on for his parents to hear. Weather they like it or not they wind up hearing about the idiots he's seen on the road, and just what he thought of said person or persons. His parents have learned to either let Alexandre continue to rant, and suffer through it, or put in ear plugs. Shutting him up is just not possible, you have to wait out the storm. His mothers taken to keeping a pair of ear plugs in her home office, so she can work through her sons rantings. A good thing to know is towards the end is Alexandre starts to stumble over his words or he'll use words incorrectly. That's when he normally tends to give up, rather than sounding stupid.
Virtues:
Organized - Everything has a place and in it's place is everything, isn't that the old saying? Or something like that, at least it seems right. The point it, is that everything is where it belongs. It isn't some disorder which has him neat, even to the point of fussing over things being out of order. It's just that he likes knowing where things are, he doesn't like to go digging around for things. It wastes time, which can be better spent on other things. Let it be known that Tink will not clean up another person's mess; that being said, he won't clean anothers disorder of his space either. It's not that he's lazy, far from it, he simply thinks people should clean up the messes they make. It was how he was brought up by his parents, clean up your own messes and never expect someone else to for you. If you don't clean up your own mess, and no one else does, it just remains and piles up. One time his mother decided to put his clothing away, and she didn't put the black short sleeved shirts with the other ones, she put them with the shades of blue not to mention they were long sleeved shirts she put the black t-shirts with. It took a week for his mother put his shirts away properly, he wasn't going to fix the mistake. Putting his clothing away was his job anyway, he'd told her he only needed to wash some paint from his hands and then he'd put the shirts away himself.
Polite/well mannered - Even if he doesn't like you, and is arguing with you, he will do so in a polite and proper manner. It's kinda like being slapped by a silk gloved hand, or something similar. Really, it is! But seriously, he does have manners, his parents raised him right after all. They just never taught him that some things should not be said, ever, or he ignored the lesson. Likely he just decided it wasn't worth keeping to. The point is that he has managed to learn the art of conversation, to the point he can insult a person while still retaining his polite, well mannered, air. Alexandre, isn't one to rise to someones baiting, weather said baiting is intentional or not, and become aggressive or flat out rude. There is however a stage he may reach. He can become overly polite, to the point it can't be seen as anything but rude and sarcastic. But he still is being polite! So therefore he hasn't sunken to being in bad form, as one might say. So I guess it's his own brand of rudeness, just an odd sort of rudeness. Not the type you'd expect to see, especially from a teenager. But it's a good way to be rude and still be able to claim good behavior.
Bluntness - While some people would find this to be a flaw it's really both. It's come in handy in the past. He once told his mother a costume, for a costume party, looked really clown like. It was actually something well received, only because she might have wanted to dress up but looking like a clown was not on her agenda. It's even been known that his bluntness has swayed friends into not doing something stupid, giving them a "Yeah, your right" moment. So while it may be bad, as people really should know when to not say certain things, it has also proved to be a good quality, it just depends on the situation and the wording.
Flaws: Bluntness - You know when they say that you shouldn't always tell someone the dress looks like crap, on them? No one gave this poor boy the memo, and if they did he threw it out after reading. He just doesn't keep things from people, even when he should. This can cause issues, with his parents and other people. But if you really want to know about something, he's the person to ask. He won't sugar coat things, or hold back. He's told his mother, on a few occasions, how something looks really horrible on her - made her look fat (which she isn't). Let's just say being scolded in a store, in front of other people, isn't something a teenager wants to experience especially when it concludes with his cell phone being confiscated for a week. This bluntness of his has also caused some problems with friends.He's had friends not talk to him for days on end, feelings hurt from his comments. His only response in those instances was to point out the person was being very childish and should grow a shell, learn to handle comments like that. How else will people handle college, or life outside of school in general, not everyone is nice and people will always say something that offends or upsets you. This bluntness extends to his opinion on art, as he dislikes that modern stuff. You know the stuff where it looks like someone just took a brush and spattered the canvas, or painted lines in black all about the canvas? Well those...aren't art, there is simply no way that what a cat with it's tail dipped in paint can do can be considered art. The fact this stuff hangs in museums truly irks him, if only he could take care of that...problem. Really it's a good thing and a bad thing, depends on who you are and what he's saying, or not saying, to you.
Sadistic with words - He can't help it, he tends to just blurt out his inner thoughts, as fast as they come. It takes a certain amount of tolerance to handle it, and if you appreciate it...bonus points to you. Really it isn't such an easy thing to handle, though his father doesn't seem to mind his mother certainly does. The idea of having a special police force assigned to beating and disposing of the bodies of animal abusers is one of these things, which his mother can't handle. But the idea of hurting such people somehow amuses Alexandre Evans, who can go on and on with all manner of torture methods which could be employed. Really he wouldn't do it, but it's a good way for him to vent and rant about any and everything.

Face: Not sure on the shape. But the ears would be in proportion to the face, not too big nor too small. As far as markings or anything I'd give him a birthmark, under the left eye to the outside corner area.
Body: He's short but not tiny, hence the nicknames. He's slender in build and only 5'3", a girls height in his opinion. But really he's learned to make due, though the nicknames will get a scowl or a pout from him for a short while. As for skin tone, he's fair skinned, too much time inside painting and gardening.

Uniform: Top -- Like these coats X X I like the double buttons on the second. But from the first I prefer the general length and how it hugs to the body more. I'd just like it open rather than buttoned up. As for a shirt I'd say a turtle neck under it, with the bottom hem being at an angle, from right to left with the left side long, nearly mid thigh in length. Silver buttons on the coat would be preferable. So I really wanna do like something like this but I'm also open to artisitc interpretation.
I'm thinking maybe in Captain or general stage for a high collar on the coat. And maybe metal work about the collar, and maybe the bottom of his pants and a bit on the sleeves of his coat. Maybe in an ivy pattern. Something to show his thing for plants and painting nature. Bottoms -- Pants/slacks. I'd say form fitting. Gloves -- Nope Belt -- No belt Shoes -- Boots with a slight heel. Shoulders -- Nope. Accessories -- Can't think of anything for the first stage. But artist can decide on anything they'd like to add. Weapon -- I'd like to start with a paint brush, which can be thrown handle end first. The next stage I have would be like one of those Japanese calligraphy brushes, but huge. Hobbies: Aromatherapy – Alex adores pretty much anything that has to do with scents – perfume, candles, soap, incense, and so forth. She has a rather large collection of these items in her dorm room, and there is always a candle or a stick of incense lit up if she's in the room and not sleeping. She has a rather wide knowledge of scents and the effects they are attributed to have on the mind and soul.
Soap-Making – It ties a little with aromatherapy, through at the same time is a separate thing. Alex has been making soap for a few years now, and she greatly enjoys it. If you have a birthday coming up, you can expect some home-made soap with a carefully picked scent to be among the gifts you will receive from her.
Gardening – While she no longer gets to enjoy the large expenses of her home to garden in, Alex has always been good with plants, and enjoys tending and taking care of them. One couldn't go so far as to call it a 'gift', but she is quite good at it, and even now her dorm room has a few potted plants, which she take very good care of. She sometimes use the petals of her flowers to make essential oils or soaps.
Virtues: Optimist – Im walking on sunshine, whoah oh~ Alex is actually good at finding that silver leaning to every dark cloud. She sees mistakes as opportunities to get better, a lost opportunity probably was so because there's an ever better one right around the corner, the glass is half-full, and so forth. Alex will attempt to give a little ray of happiness to almost everyone she meets. She can laugh every bout of bad luck and unfortunate things that might happen to her right off. Embarrassment is probably the thing she fear the less. Just laugh it off and you're good to go !
Selfless – She's there for her friends. And her classmates. And probably for everyone that she knows the name of. If there's something she can do to help you, good chance that she'll do it, especially when it comes to material things she see as completely expendable and replaceable. Forgot your lunch at home ? Here, you can have her's ! She'll happily buy you this necklace you've been eyeing for awhile for no other reason than to make you smile. These acts are more often than not unplanned and without any kind of hidden agenda... Not that Alex even knows how to keep an hidden agenda.
Honest – Yeah, this dress makes you butt look big. But this one is gorgeous ! Alex says things as they are, but always attempts to soften the blow when she thinks the truth might be upsetting, which keeps this from going into flaw territory. If her first thought is blunt, she will withhold it just long enough to soften it without lying, though she might also not give out her opinion unless asked. If asked, well, you can be confident that you're probably getting the truth out of Alex.
Confident – Alex has a healthy level of self-confidence in herself and her own abilities. Whatever teasing and taunts she might get tend to simply not affect her at all. Who cares what anyone else think of you, right ? Alex knows what she's good at, what she's bad at, what she can do and what she can't, and she accepts herself just the way she is, though there are things she does work on in order to improve.
Flaws: Idolization – The more she likes you, the closest you are to her, the more perfect she thinks you are and the less likely she's going to question you or you motives. Once you've won her trust, she'll follow you right into a pit full of alligators without question because she will be certain you've planned all this down to a T. Hell, she'll follow you all the way down to Mordor. This can make her a little gullible, though only where the people she idolizes are concerned. And even if things go wrong, she rarely ever complains.
Black and White – Either you're right, and thus perfectly justified, or you're wrong, and not justified at all. As long as she believe you're in the right, she is willing to overlook many things that could be considered morally conflicted or even illegal – sometimes the mold needs to break a little in order for things to get better. One can't make an omelet without cracking a few eggs, after all. And if you're wrong, she'll have nothing against reminding you of this time and time again.
Falls Apart, No One's Here – Alex is genuinely optimistic. That isn't faked, through sometimes her optimism is also her shield to pull her through when things go wrong. What happens when things go so wrong that not even her optimism can't pull her through ? Alex falls apart. And will do her best to isolate herself so that it's unlikely people will be able to help her. Or even notice. She dislikes being seen like this, and she'd rather people think she's completely incapable of sadness, no matter how silly the thought is. When she has a problem, she feels like she is burdening whoever she might be with at the time, so she isolates herself, and will only accept help when it's literally reamed down her throat.
Clockcuckoolander – Alex is... well. Special. She's the girl who can often be caught talking to herself, though she makes an attempt to at least whisper to herself. She often gets teased for this, but she doesn't care. She tried to be normal, she found it boring, and so on. Her imagination is bright, vivid, and about a mile wide, which is not always a good thing since she can easily get lost in it – unless she's actually trying to focus, getting her attention can be hard, and keeping it can be even harder. In spite of this, she still has a very good grip on reality... thankfully.

Eternal Sailor Attack: Lavender Relaxation Swirl Zaniah reaches for her other hairstick, then throws it – once it impacts on something, the stick breaks, releasing a faint sent of lavender and a whole lot of smoke – more that you'd expect. The smoke is thick enough to hinder vision slightly, and the scent has one effect, that varies slightly depending on the target. On senshi, it helps decrease whatever fear they might be feeling. The biggest effect, and the true aim of the attack, however, is on corrupted beings – if they breathe in the smoke, the smell of lavender causes them to relax, leaving their guard down and leaving them open to attack. This attack has a 3 meters radius, and the effect last 30 seconds.

Fav. Food: Seafood fondue. She'd eat it every day for every meal if she could.
Hated Food: Eggs, in any way, shape, or form. When she was a child, it was because she knew where they came from. Nowadays, depending on how they're prepared, it's either the taste or texture that gets her.
School: Destiny City University; she is majoring in Anthropology and hating every second of it, but it is a discipline that her parents approved for its diversity and the fact that it will force her to think outside of her own ideals.
And that is a large part of why Guernica hates it. Though she is still early in the degree and will not choose a specialty until she begins to pursue her MA, she is already being faced with a myriad of other cultures, many of which contain practices and views that she finds abhorrent. She struggles with bias on some of her assignments, and this is forcing her to take a more impartial view on some topics, though the process is slow-going.
Hobbies:
DINOSAURS - Guernica loves. Dinosaurs. Most kids grow out of re-writing all their math story problems to include "three T-Rexes" and "two Triceratops" but not her. The older she's gotten, the more passionate she has become about the subject, enough so that she desperately wanted to major in Geology and eventually obtain her Ph.D in Museum Studies so that she could become a professional, practicing paleontologist. Unfortunately, her parents firmly shot that idea down, forcing her to choose what they deemed a more realistic, appropriate career choice for someone from their family. Paleontology they viewed as a childish fancy, one that would see their daughter narrowly confined to one discipline and purely academic social circles; that aside, they are the sort of people who believe that handing their children exactly what they want will only make them value it less. Therefore, she was forced to choose a broader subject for her degree, and consequently, she has to indulge her love of dinosaurs on her own time. This generally involves hanging out at the museum exhibits, tucking up in the library with books, or discussing the virtues of the coolest things to have ever roamed the Earth with small children in either of those places.
Ballet - She teaches one class a week at her mother's school, and practices -- though not nearly as rigorously as she did as a child -- mainly as a form of exercise and keeping her body limber. Guernica holds no great love for dance, having never had a passion for it like her sister, but she made a commitment to the school and refuses to back down from her responsibility. That aside, she gets to teach three and four year-olds, which she considers a blast. By the time they're old enough to be taking ballet seriously, she generally wants nothing to do with them, and that's fine and dandy because her mother and the other full-time instructors at the school are responsible for educating the dancers as they get older.
Cello - The Black girls were expected to not only dance and succeed in academics, but either sing or play an instrument as well! A well-rounded education for a posh young lady, right? Guernica was not thrilled by the idea of learning an instrument, but considering she sounded like a cat in heat when she sang, she was told to pick an instrument or all the texts on dinosaurs would be removed from the family library. When all was said and done, she picked the cello for one reason: its size. It was only after she'd thrown her hissy that she reflected and realized she should have researched to see which she would prefer, but by then it was too late and she was already invested. She grew to love it, at least, and though her technical skill will never be great enough for her to make a living off her music, she does play in DCU's campus orchestra for non-music majors.
Uncle Mal -- Guernica tries to spend time with her mother's brother at least once a week, if not more often. A reclusive, troubled author who has a lot more on his plate than he is willing to admit, Malachi Wellington has reached the point of being unable to leave his apartment for fear of the outside world. As he is Guernica's favorite relative, she doesn't mind doing his grocery shopping and stopping in to spend the day with him; they tend to have lively discussions and she doesn't feel pressure to be anyone except herself while she spends time with him. Of course, she always feels a bit guilty when she leaves because he looks so sad and lonely, but... there's always next time!
Virtues:
Passionate -- Guernica has feelings. Strong feelings. She doesn't think that neutrality actually exists - people who claim to be neutral simply haven't learned enough about the topic at hand to decide if they love it or hate it. When she undertakes something, be it a project, relationship, or cause, she does so wholeheartedly. She pours herself into her work and makes it as personal as she can, ensuring that she puts forth her absolute best effort by investing so much of herself into her actions. She can be an inspiration for others in this respect, though that would be a completely peripheral effect -- she considers her passions very personal.
This carries over into her friendships as well. Guernica may not make friends with too many people, but those she is friends with, she showers with her time and affection. She makes certain that those dear to her know exactly how dear they are, even if sometimes her attentions are largely unwanted; she'll be the first to approach someone, she'll initiate conversation, and she'll carry it if she finds it interesting enough. She pours herself into her friendships just as she does her projects and relationships.
Tenacious -- If something is worth starting, it's worth finishing. She will sink teeth into a project or idea and barrel her way through it, hopefully as quickly and effectively as possible. If something can be accomplished in three steps with the help of two other people versus six steps on her own, Guernica will recruit them and generally just not leave them alone until they have finished whatever their task might be. She hates distractions, does not tolerate quitting; failure is not an option.
Resilient -- This girl can put up with a lot of abuse, and I don't just mean physically, though she can take a punch standing if she needs to. Guernica has thick skin and a stiff upper lip, and she stands by her decisions and convictions no matter how many naysayers try to knock her down. She has very demanding parents who have always expected a great deal of her, and so she learned to toughen up and rise to the occasion early on. She is not the girl you will find crying under the stairs because she can't handle the pressure. What doesn't kill her will only make her stronger.
Protective -- Guernica looks out for her own. You can count on her to have your back if she is your friend, generally without you even having to ask. She is not afraid to be the only person standing up for what she believes in, and on much the same token, she was never afraid to be the one person standing up against a bully for the sake of her friends. She is a pit bull in Prada, ladies and gentlemen; do not underestimate her bite when it comes to her twin or her friends, because she will leave marks.
Flaws:
Proud -- Guernica's word means everything to her. This can be especially troubling because of her impulsiveness; once she's given her word on something, even if it's as childish as picking the biggest instrument she can think of, she will stand by it. She will thrust her chin out, square her shoulders, and refuse to acknowledge that she had been hasty. Of course it was what she wanted all along. Of course it was the right decision. Guernica will not admit that she regrets her choice, even if she wishes for nothing more than the opportunity to rewind time, punch herself in the face, and make a decision after careful contemplation. Her dignity is much more important to her than, oh, the general unhappiness she will suffer while she endures whatever it is that she finds so disfavorable. She was raised to have a very high opinion of herself and her family, and to go back on her word or to admit that she was wrong would be damaging to not only her family's reputation but her own, and this is something that she finds unacceptable.
Impulsive -- When faced with a decision, Guernica almost never sits back and thinks things through. Why? That wastes time! Unfortunately, it also cuts back on all those wonderful things like consideration for alternatives, proper planning, and weighing the risks inherent in the options. This is especially true if she is flustered or irritated; often, if Guernica can't get her way, all of the options that are not what she wants seem equally unappealing, so she'll simply pick something to have made a decision and have the distasteful process behind her. As is to be expected, this often results in her being stuck with something that she doesn't want but is too proud to abandon because she already decided on it. (Hello, Anthropology major.)
In battle, this is especially troublesome because she will respond moment-to-moment rather than think things through. She doesn't consider the consequences of her actions until much later, when she is at home doctoring her wounds and scolding herself for how much better she could have done. She is reckless with her body and her comrades' bodies in battle: it's not that she thinks they'll be able to handle themselves, necessarily, it's that she generally just doesn't consider them because she is too focused on the moment she is in and the fact that she has an enemy right in front of her. She makes snap decisions that sometimes work for her, sometimes work fabulously, and sometimes completely blow up in her face. It's always a gamble, but as it is how she thinks when under pressure, it will be very difficult for her to change this particular habit of hers.
Resentful -- Just because she stiff upper-lips it and stands by her decisions and her word to the point of stubborn ridiculousness doesn't mean that Guernica doesn't blame other people for putting her in a position where she had to make the kind of calls that later set her teeth on edge. Resembling her mother much more than she would like to admit, Guernica will stonily and silently seethe with her resentment, never coming outright and admitting that she feels as strongly and bitterly as she does. Still, she makes it pretty obvious in the little things that she does, the way she speaks a bit more sharply, her general body language toward the people she considers top contenders for "The Ones Who Are Ruining Her Life." It isn't seemly for a young woman from the Black family to have temper tantrums, after all; but the cold shoulder, biting remarks, and social snubs are perfectly acceptable forms of behavior. Her temper is passive-aggressive, one of the most infuriating ones to deal with; she holds grudges, won't come out and confront problems, and will instead resort to underhanded means to let you know you have screwed up and it is time for you to apologize to her.
Intolerant -- Guernica has ideas about the world and the people living on it, and she is inclined to believe her ideas are the best. But more than that, she considers other peoples' ideas decidedly inferior, and refuses to consider their beliefs except in the context to reaffirm her own. She has been accused of being narrow-minded, and her general retort is that at least she knows her own mind, unlike a lot of those liberal-minded hippies. Though she will not venture her opinion unasked (as well-behaved young ladies do not grandstand and preach their values) she will openly criticize lifestyles that don't conform to her ideas if she is invited into the conversation, defending her viewpoints with the kind of bullheaded, single-minded determination that makes people want to clock her one.
This is not just a little "oh, we have a disagreement" sort of situation. She honestly and sincerely offends a lot of people, and she will not back down even when she clearly sees that -- she believes that her stances on everything from homosexuality to abortion are correct and will defend them until she is blue in the face if she has to. It is really a particularly ugly trait of hers, compounded moreso by the fact that she sees her views as perfectly legitimate and reasonable, and the opposition's as... well, the opposite. She treats every conversation on hot-button topics as a debate and an opportunity for her to change someone's mind, but remains inflexible in her opinions.
Because she does enjoy debate, she will generally hear the person out... but most times, it becomes readily apparent that she hears, but does not listen. After you've made your opening remarks, Guernica believes she knows exactly where you stand, and it will take some doing to convince her that you have anything worthwhile to say if it contradicts what she believes.

Weapon --
Page -- A sheer sash/ribbon. She uses it to loop around people and hold them in place, pretty much.
Squire -- Ribbon baton! Binding magic -- the ribbon will wrap around an enemy and hold them in place for up to thirty seconds. During this time, they are unable to move or mount an offense. She must remain firmly gripping the baton and keeping it taut, however, so it's best for her to work with a partner and get them to attack while she keeps her enemy immobilized. The length of the ribbon is about ten feet, so she has to be fairly close to get ahold of them -- the ribbon won't magically extend. Once they are released from the ribbon (it will fall away after thirty seconds) there are no residual effects of her magic; her enemies are able to freely move once again.
Knight -- Fancy whip! This time, when Lazarus' whip wraps around a body part, one of two things can occur depending on how she channels her magic. The aforementioned immobilization, if she stands still and holds the whip taut; for up to a minute this time. Or, if she wraps the whip around a body part and then jerks it back, the affected area essentially becomes dead weight. The enemy is immobilized for about five seconds while the magic takes effect, and after that, her whip is simply a whip; she can only cast magic on one body part at a time, so if she wraps her whip around a second body part before the effects of the first have worn off, no magic will be cast. For example, if she cracked her whip and it looped around an enemy's ankle, the leg up to the knee would at first be completely useless, then be filled with prickles as though it had fallen asleep, making it difficult to walk and keep balance on; the effects of this will last about a minute, wearing off as the sixty seconds pass. However, she can't immobilize more than one body part at a time, and after the minute is up, the affected limb will be back to normal.
So think for about twenty seconds, you can't feel or use your leg. Then for about twenty seconds, bad prickles like you're trying to walk on your leg when it's asleep and you have a hard time keeping your balance. Then twenty seconds where it's just annoying pins and needles. Then you're fine!
She can't immobilize someone and then immediately use her second attack, either; if she immobilizes them, it requires her to be still and vulnerable as well still. The second attack is a much faster snap of the whip and then she retreats, leaving the enemy to still be able to move around (kind of; depending on where she got you) as well as Lazarus being able to continue fighting.
She may only use her attack up to four times in battle, with the strength of the attack being shaky at best on the last and wearing off more quickly than the first three. It is very unlikely that she would use her attack that many times unless it was a large, drawn-own battle, however, as her pool of energy will be depleting with each use, and she will become noticeably more fatigued as the battle wears on between her magic attack and physical fighting.

Hated Food: Boiled hotdogs, frozen pizza, frozen pot pies, frozen burritos... basically, anything cheap, fast and easy that he ate when growing up.

Hobbies:
Cooking: Shep has been cooking since he was about nine years old, helping his mother in the kitchen and doing his best to stay under his father's radar in the process. It was quiet time that he got with his mother, so it quickly became one of his favorite things -- he learned to treasure the time spent with her, and learned equally quickly that poorly prepared food equaled a pissed off father. It was more through design than natural talent that he became good at it, but rather than resent his main household chore, Shep chose to embrace it and make his mother proud by constantly improving. He takes the most enjoyment from cooking for Erika, but the fact that he loves the act itself is probably what keeps him from going insane with the hours he works at Denny's.
Writing: Oftentimes Shep will get home during the wee hours of the morning and not be able to sleep, largely due to the fact that he's exhausted. (Yeah, it doesn't make sense to him either.) He'll boot up the internet on his ancient desktop and catch himself up on his Tumblr dash, then generally update with cooking tips and new recipes that he's trying out. He enjoys getting feedback from his followers when they experiment, and oftentimes integrates their advice into his own cooking. He's somewhat Tumblr famous, largely because his blog isn't simply recipes -- it also includes commentary on the cooking process and the people who eat it, some of it more bitchy than others. He has a good internet voice, and is definitely more adept at socializing online than he is in person.
Thrifty Shopping: Shep is poor. He has been poor his entire life and will probably be poor until he dies. Ergo, he has learned how to scout good deals and buy in bulk -- he almost considers it an art at this point. Garage sales, thift stores and Walmart are among his favorite places to part with his money, and he has a shrewd enough eye that he generally doesn't go home with a POS that will fall apart within a week. He is a smart, conservative shopper, and he definitely knows how to get the most bang for his buck.
Gardening: Vegetables are expensive. Most people probably don't really consider it, but Shep knows that they are, and more than that, he knows that high quality fruits and veggies are even more expensive. He has a little sister to feed on the weekends, and he doesn't want to be serving her crap, so he wheedled and convinced the landlord to let him set up greenboxes on the roof to grow vegetables in. He freezes most of his vegetables so that he can get the most use out of them, as he doesn't produce nearly enough to make it worth the effort to try to sell them. Most things Shep does, anyway, aren't for a profit; they're a means to get by.
Virtues:
Frugal: Waste not, want not might as well be Shep's personal mantra. Everything that he has is used until the point where it can no longer function, and just about everything he owns is secondhand. He'll buy a couch for thirty bucks and make a slipcover out of discount fabric to hide the fact that it's old and ugly. He'll buy new pillows for the beds and then rip the stuffing out of the old ones and shove them into the couch cushions. He buys off brand products and uses food until it is gone; he gets creative with leftovers and tries not to make more than he intends to eat or share unless the food is going to spoil. Every penny is accounted for, everything is used to its full potential, and he is very, very smart with his resources.
Loyal: Shep loves so very few people in the world that the ones he does love he would do anything for. Literally. He'll stand up for someone he loves even if he's the only one standing beside them, and he will be their support through the end. If you get his word, he'll keep it or die trying -- the only time he would break a promise would be if it meant that harm would come to the person he was trying to help or it would somehow hurt his sister. No one in this world is more important to him than Erika, and her needs he puts before even his own... this is convenient right now because until she turns eighteen, Erika needs him, so he has to take good care of himself.
Once Shep is your man, he is your man for life. He is faithful, dogged, and will always look out for your best interests in favor of even his own. He's the kind of friend you really want to have if you can get close enough to him to gain his trust and get him to devote himself to you.
Honest: If you want to know where you stand, you can always ask Shep. He doesn't subscribe to bullshit, so sometimes this trait is borderline flaw, but for the most part, he does not use his honesty for evil. He won't venture his opinion on unfavorable things without being prompted, but if you ask him for his honest opinion, you will get it. He is much more free with his thoughts on positive things, though often his compliments are backhanded and full of knuckle ("That sweater looks very good on you; it actually hugs your waist and shows you have breasts.") so it takes a little bit of getting used to for the average person. Still, Shep believes that the best kind of friend is the one who will tell you when you are being a dumbass, so for those he really cares for, he strives to that sort of friend.
Hardworking: No one in the world will be able to say that Shep doesn't pull his own weight and then some. Nothing in this world is free or fair, and he learned that lesson from a young age, so he understands that what you get out of the world is very rarely proportionate to what you put in it. So he works hard, a lot harder than someone his age ought to have to, and he doesn't b***h. He gets the job done and picks up everyone else's slack when he has to, because at the end of the day, him stomping his feet and demanding everybody do their own job doesn't exactly get the job done, does it?
Flaws:
Resentful: Hurt Shep and someone he loves, and he will never forget it. He will never let you forget it, either. He holds a grudge and he is not above the childish notion that you should have to earn your way back into his good graces. The problem is, it's so incredibly difficult to do that once you have wronged him that most people don't feel it's worth the effort. So Shep just quietly stews in his resentment, not even giving people the general three chances to screw up -- one strike, and if you don't come begging your way back into his life, he'll just hate you forever.
Demanding: In his personal life, Shep has very set ideas on what he expects from people. He doesn't tolerate whining, waste, or unreasonable expectations, despite the fact that the level of behavior he expects from those around him is pretty unreasonable. He puts forth so much of himself on a daily basis, working himself to nearly the bone only to come home on weekends and take care of his sister, that he will be quite the d**k to anyone who dares complain about how hard they have it. He expects the people around him to take care of their own business and keep a stiff upper lip about it. The only exception to this is work, where he is low man on the totem pole; were he the boss, his employees would learn to hate and fear him, but considering he's just a cog in the wheel, he seethes in resentment while he works harder than everyone else.
Harsh: When you screw up (and you will, trust him, you will) Shepherd is not exactly kind about it unless your name is Erika Adalsteinn. Even then, he is not as soft with her as he perhaps should be, because it's important that she learn valuable lessons in order to become a fully-functioning adult. He doesn't mince words and there is part of him that believes you should be made to feel like an idiot, or unreasonable, or incompetent, because obviously you were. This doesn't exactly make him many friends, or really inspire people to come to him and own up to their mistakes.
Distrusting: Shep operates on a guilty-until-proven-innocent basis. He will suspect you before he'll give you the benefit of the doubt, and you have to earn your way into his affections and trust. The world hasn't shown him a great deal of good and so he has learned that you have to take care of yourself and the people you care about; others will only let you down if you rely on them, and if you let the wrong sort of people know too much about you, it is only going to stab you in the back later. Consequently, he almost never relies on others, and has a difficult time working inside of a team. He tries to do too much to compensate for not wanting to rely on others, which can lead to failures in communication, unnecessary risk-taking, and general incompetence.

Face: Thin lips with a slightly topheavy mouth; thin, arched eyebrows. He has a scar across his forehead, but he wears his bangs swept over it so that you can't see most of it -- just a bit of the scar is visible on the outside of his left eyebrow.

I don't have quite a solid idea for what I'd like for Fenrir's outfit... something possibly Norse-inspired, so if you wanted to give him some fur or a tunic-sort of outfit with the big boots and whatnot, that'd be awesome. No viking helmet or anything. There's a lot of freedom in his design, really... if you were designing a senshi of betrayal for yourself, how would you design it within a Norse theme? I'm offering a lot of artistic liberty and expression here. =)
SO WHILE THESE ARE HILARIOUS AND KIND OF RIDIC, something like this (if you really want to give him a skirt type thing, that's cool too, just make it look good and like it's supposed to be predominantly a masculine uniform please.)

So take these references to kind of model an idea and translate it into a fuku! You can give him shorts, a skirt, whatever, as long as it looks good and comes together to A) resemble a fuku and B) have some Norse inspiration. He doesn't need to be a cosplay of Fenrir or anything, just... some Norse influences and a kickin' fuku.
The template used on Sailor Aegir would be my preference.
Attack #1 NAME: Knife Play [What it does] Fenrir, while maintaining eye contact with the person he is attacking, vocalizes the phrase and the sensation of being stabbed in the back is felt by his opponent. Though there is no actual wound, it literally feels like someone has shoved a knife through their back, and the pain will last for about thirty seconds. The effects may be somewhat residual, but more the memory of the pain than anything.
Fenrir must make eye contact to perform the attack, and it may be used twice in battle.
Attack #1a NAME: Deadly Knife Play [What it does] Fenrir, while maintaining eye contact with the person he is attacking, vocalizes the phrase and the sensation of being stabbed in the back is felt by his opponent. It literally feels like someone has shoved a knife through their back, and the pain will last up to a full minute (longer than thirty seconds, somewhere below a full minute, depending on his energy and the circumstances of the battle). A small wound will be formed on the enemy's back, though no where near a stab wound -- it will be more like a slash, generally about six inches long.
Fenrir must make eye contact to perform the attack, and it may be used twice in battle.
Attack #2: NAME: Double Cross [What it does] This attack is best used when Fenrir is facing two or more enemies and has no allies. Essentially, once he vocalizes the attack name, everyone's loyalties save for his own will shift, resulting in a battle-wide betrayal. While the people on the battlefield will not want to attack their own allies, if they choose to attack (or are midway through an attack) they will be physically compelled to turn their attacks toward those they were fighting beside moments before. This switch will last only up to five minutes, depending on how much energy Fenrir has when he casts it, and is generally used as an escape tactic; he'll get his enemies to turn on one another and book it.
If an enemy chooses not to attack, his power is completely useless, as it relies on the decision to attack for it to be effective.
Can only be used once per battle. Should not be used when fighting with allies, as they will attack him if they attempt to attack the enemy.
Fenrir's plan is generally to run away while they're in the midst of confusion on the battlefield, so he typically won't stick around to see if they attack each other or not. This is by no means a guaranteed take-a-chunk-out-of-each-other attack; it's just a physical compulsion that lasts from about 3-5 minutes; any attacks attempted during that time, physical or magical, will be directed toward an ally rather than Fenrir, or in the case of it, his allies.
Of course, if he has allies, and they're attacking, he's dodging them while he books it, but at least they aren't being attacked by the enemy, okay.

I'll Punish You!! Name: Talia Chu
Nickname: Tal, Chu

Fav. Food: Small cakes, and anything relatively spicy. She loves different kinds of tea, and though she doesn't love the taste of coffee, she loves the sophisticated feel it gives her.
Hated Food: She's not particularly picky, but anything chocolate is a no no.
School: Crystal Academy
Hobbies:
Fan Dancing: Though she enjoys watching many types of dance, Talia has taken a special liking to fan dancing. She is currently learning on her own through videos and books, but is also looking for a group to join (she has had no luck yet). She can often be seen practicing in a park, or any other open, public place. Talia's fans are a sunset of red, orange, and yellow, and have a small dragon tassle on the end. She also knows a few gymnastics moves as a result, but her knowledge is restricted to a few tumbles and a front flip. Her mother loves watching her dance, and fully supports this hobby, but her father does not see much sense in it. Talia discovered this love via the good old television. One day she was watching a show and some professional Chinese fan dancers came on screen. She was completely captivated and has loved it since.
Arcade Fighter Games:Yes, Talia is an avid fighter. In the game shops, that is. She is constantly seen at the arcades duking it out on the latest fighter games; a personal favorite of hers being Mortal Kombat. When she was younger, her family would always pass a family-owned arcade on the way to school. Eventually she decided to bravely visit it for a birthday party. Nowadays, she can beat most of the boys at the game, and occasionally enters tournaments for fun (even though she loses most of these tournaments). Talia is very serious while playing, but does not mind rubbing her victory in her opponent's face very extraneously. She generally does not play other genres of games, but is willing to try anything if it sounds fun.
Tennis: Taken up due to her father, Talia is quite the contender when it comes to tennis. Her father put her in it when she was younger, and she simply stayed in it due to her young age and inability to choose whether or not she continued. As time went on though, Talia began to enjoy it more and more, and now enjoys playing the sport. She wants to try out for the tennis team at her school at some point. Her father is very pleased with this turn out, and while he is not at most of her games, he is very supportive. He buys most of her equipment, and pays for all fees she may have. Talia's particular racket is black with a few red stripes.
Virtues:
Ooh, let's try that: Talia is always open for new things. She is always first in line to try that new pickle flavored ice cream, even though she knows it will taste gross. She also loves encouraging others to try new things! Talia is very adventurous and always up for a new challenge, even if it's too hard. In this way, she sometimes comes off as arrogant, but really just wants to beat the standard and be the best she can be. She doesn't necessarily seek out challenges, but will always take them. For example, if someone gives her a game she will try it on normal mode like most people. But if someone hands it to her and says "I beat hard mode!" she will spend all day trying to beat hard mode as well, with a fully completed file. Talia loves being the center of attention at all times, even if some of the stares she gets say "why would she want to try pickle flavored ice cream?"
Well that's the capital of...: Mostly an aftereffect from her father's strict attitude, Talia is exceedingly studious. She works very hard on all of her projects, and while she doesn't always plan accordingly (starting a 3 month project 1 week before the due date...), she will stay up as late as necessary to finish the work according to her perfectionist needs. Anything below a B- is the dumps for her, and she will often scolder herself (much like Alice did in Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland") for doing poorly. Talia tries to help tutor other students, but often has a hard time explaining things to others without confusing them further. If you ever need help though, she will continue to tutor you until you understand. (NO GIVING UP FOR YOUUU). She's not necessarily intelligent, or even the smartest kid in the classroom, she is simply studious and works hard. It does not come naturally to her- she works for it.
New Bold Flavor!: Afraid of asking that cute guy out? Perhaps there's a cool looking tree to climb, but it's much too tall to be safe? Never fear, Talia Chu is here! Talia is bold and outgoing. She doesn't mind asking a complete stranger for directions, nor would she mind skydiving (in fact, she's always wanted to try ...). This isn't to say she loud and obnoxiously talking to everyone. She simply doesn't have the insecurity of having to put herself out there. It also means that she'll talk to the shy kid in the corner in order to make him/her feel more welcome.
I Last Longer than a Twinkie! Talia has a surprising amount of endurance despite her small stature. She has enough energy to wake up at 4 AM, practice her dance, run around the block, and STILL have a cheery attitude at school. You'll never hear her say "I'm too tired" unless the situation is dire and she's running on her last adrenaline cell. It's not like Talia never runs out of juice, but as long as it's there, she'll put her best foot forward. It can also be said that she isn't bouncing up and down in her chair. It's more like she simply has more endurance than the average human. This also isn't to say that she never runs out. She does have bad days, sick days, etc.
Flaws:
Would you Listen to me?: Talia feels as though her voice is NEVER heard loudly enough, mostly due to her father's inability to compromise. She feels as though she should always speak her thoughts and opinions, and make sure it's definitely loud enough for you to hear it. She doesn't just walk up to people and start talking about things, she will wait until its her turn to talk. The things she talks about always have merit as well; it's not like she spouts random things that come to mind. The real problem is that once you get Talia going, she just will not stop. If you say, "I like cheese" she will talk to you forever about how great cheese is. You can also bet that in class, she's always the one the teacher is yelling at to be quiet and sit down. Talia is like the attention starved little child who always needs someone to talk to in order to stay pacified. She also texts like a mad-man because of this.
Tempered Like a Shrew: Talia is a spicy hot-tempered girl. She gets frustrated and angry very quickly, especially when it comes to competition. During her fighter game matches she can literally be seen talking to the game. While playing tennis she will belittle the referees loud enough for people to hear. She won't yell at him, screaming and cursing, as she does believe in somewhat civil behavior; she's just not exactly a believer in "if you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all." If something really bad goes down, she has a completely meltdown and just starts crying on the spot. In these times, she can usually be calmed by a voice of reason or a cup of warm tea. In other words, she gets frustrated easily, but is also calmed quickly and easily.
Let's See It ALL: Because of her endurance, Talia will drag you all over. If you want to hang out with her, you should probably take her somewhere simple like a coffee shop. Why? Well if you take her to the circus she will want to meet every carnie, every worker, every elephant, and every person who ever stepped foot in the main tent. It's definitely not like she's doing it purposely. She simply doesn't realize that normal people don't have ridiculous amounts of energy. She will run you up and down, simply because she forgets that others don't have the same endurance she does. Once she does notice you're not keeping up, she'll slow down, but until then you'll simply have to deal with it. I'd suggest you speak up before things get dire.
Hey, this is MY Limelight: Are you learning to play tennis?Awesome- Talia's mastered it. Did you get an A on that test? Talia got an A+. Talia is constantly trying to one up others, and always tries to be the best at anything she does. The spotlight belongs to her and absolutely no one is allowed to take it. If you challenge her to a card game she's never heard of, she will spend all night mastering it, just to humiliate you. Unfortunately, her father promotes this type of attitude; he seeks a daughter that achieves even more than he did.

Attacks:
Sailor Scout Attack: Draconis Breath of Flame (offfensive) Descripion: Talia puts her hands in a diamond shape in front of her mouth and then inhales a large amount of air, then blows outward through the diamond, creating a fiery flamethrower that simulates a fire breathing dragon. Effects: Scorches any one enemy of her choice. Range: About five feet from her hands. It can be shot in direction, but once shot, she cannot move. Backlash: Sphere is implemented in her hands, and as such, any damage inflicted on her hands will hurt trifold after using this attack. The flamethrower cannot move in any direction, as it can only shoot directly in front of her hands. It takes so much concentration that she herself cannot move around either. Duration: Talia can only keep this attack up for about 10 seconds.

Super Sailor Scout Attack: Draconis Sea of Flame (Offensive) Description: Relatively same process, but Talia no longer needs to use her hands, the flames simply come from her mouth, like a real dragon. This gives her the ability to pivot around, as it requires less focus. Thus, she can scorch more than one enemy at a time. Also goes about six feet instead of five. Effects: Scorches multiple enemies. Range: A six foot radius around her in all directions Backlash: She cannot protect herself during this attack, leaving her completely defenseless. She can also only use it once per battle. She can only hit 2-3 enemies with this "beam." After that, they have no effect on anyone else they hit, save for a slight tingling of the skin. Duration: About 30 seconds.

Eternal Sailor Attack: Draconis Fatal Dive (offensive) Description: Talia shouts "Draconis ... Fatal ...," while the silouette of her dragon appears behind her. A western dragon made of flames fills up the silouette, and then "flies" up towards the sky. She points (dramatically, of course) at her dragon, then pivots half her body and points at the enemy of her choice, and shouts "DIVE!" The dragon then swoops down onto the enemy as if hunting for prey. Effects: Completely encompasses the enemy, burning them everywhere. If the enemy is strong enough, the least they will come out with are first degree burns. The effects are similar to Jupiter Thunder Dragon! except with flames, not electricity. Range: The dragon can fly anywhere, but can only attack one person at a time. Backlash: Requires an immense amount of energy and makes Talia only capable of moving afterwards. This means no attacks, no means of defense, etc. It is a final move that can only be used in times of desperate struggles. She has just enough energy to stay in senshi form, but that's about the limit of her power. Duration: Any amount of time. Dragon disappears after impact.

If Possible: I would like it if Talia could gain a small fan, maybe attached to her waist by a chain, for fighting. I would absolutely aore that. I know corporeal weapons are highly rare for senshi, but I figured I would ask. If so, I would like it to be red with a dragon design on it, and a dragon tassle like on her dancing fans. If not, c'est la vi. <3 edit: upon further thinking, perhaps this comes at a later stage like super or eternal? artist's choice. Nickname: Please call her Sable. She will rage quit if you don't. :C Most people don't even know her name is Natalia- save for those who have seen her official records. She goes by Sable with everyone, and some call her Clarice as well.

Fav. Food: Sweets of any sorts. She especially likes petit fours, cupcakes, and other dainty looking snacks.

Hobbies:
Dolls: Of course, like most girls, Sable was given your stereotypical barbie and porcelain dolls when she was young. However, her love of dolls did not stop there. While she moved on past barbies and bratz dolls, she kept her passion for dolls as a whole. Eventually, it developed into a love of ball-jointed dolls. She has three dolls, and loves setting them up in various sceneries, clothing, settings, etc. As such, she is a very accomplished seamstress- she sews all of her dolls' clothing and accessories. She can often be seen running to the craft store to purchase more fabric and thread, or in the town square setting her dolls up near that oh-so-perfect fountain for the perfect shot.
Violin: While she isn't very good at it, Sable owns a very basic, simplistic and polished violin. She has been practicing for only a year or two now, and can play simple songs like jingle bells and happy birthday. Regardless, she is very proud of her abilities, and can often be seen polishing the violin and its case, or playing her violin outside, by a park or a cafe. She has an instructor who teaches her once a week, but Sable does most of her learning outside of classes. She enjoys making up stupidly simple melodies and just humming along to it. Sable began her journey with the violin after she watched a man perform a violin piece at the local mall. Of course, she had seen violins before, but watching the man play captured her heart, and she immediately begged her mom for a violin (she promptly said no, course). Sable searched around her school for some connection to a violin, and is now loaning "her" violin from the band teacher. She takes exceptional care of the violin though, so the teacher doesn't complain much.
Fencing: Sable's first encounter with fencing was in a fitness class, which her mother insisted she take (the old "you're not doing anything active, go play outside!" routine). She fell in love very quickly with it though- she adored the combination of etiquette and conflict. The sport allows Sable to channel her sadism, while keeping it in a safe, and controlled environment. She enjoys hustling others using a simple, common strategy. A simple "oh I am soooo bad at fencing, could I maybe possibly play with you?" is usually all it takes. She then goes all out to the best of her ability, leaving the opponent completely bewildered. However, she does not use this technique all the time. Obviously it no longer works on classmates and friends. Instead she chooses to use this technique when applicable. Due to her happiness and excercise, her parents support her very much, and often come to her tournaments to watch her fence.
Baking: Sable isn't necessarily good at baking- by definition. She can't make elaborate cakes that tower a gajillion feet high. She can't make rose petals out of frosting, nor can she make chocolate shaped like reptar. But what Sable can do is bake a lot. She loves to bake, especially with her mother. They create what you would find in most households- brownies, chocolate chip cookies, the occasional birthday cake and more. She loves decorating the cookies with creatively placed sprinkles and homemade frosting. While its no professional work of art, she enjoys having the ability to manipulate decorations. She often takes her baked sweets to school, just because she has such a surplus at home. You can bet if you're friends with Sable, you'll have tasted her cookies at least once.
Virtues:
Sweet As Sugar: Sable has a ridiculously sweet attitude. She is constantly smiling or laughing, and enjoys using this to the best of her abilities. She constantly makes up nicknames for people, even if they don't necessarily want them. Is your name Francessa? Say hello to Franny. In her secret arsenal she has a pair of those puppy dog eyes that say, "I'm so cute, how could you do this to me?" However, unlike most would think, she is sincere in her sweetest. She doesn't do it simply for the purpose of manipulation or satire (though that is a bonus), it is a trait she merely has an utilizes.
Cover it up- Quick!: When you need something to look pretty or, at least, cover something up, Sable is your girl. She is skilled at decorations, or rather, application of decor. Not only does this win her A+'s on school art projects, she can also hide something perfectly. Don't ever try to search for her diary, you'll end up searching forever. In this way, she can cover her tracks, or others' tracks lickety split. She's very specific about what needs to go where, in order to make the perfect disguise. In this way, she can also create disguises for herself, in order to sneak around and steal star seeds. Reminds you of a certain iron mouse, doesn't it?
My Little Box of Sadness: Sable is a tough girl, mentally that is. Call her ugly? She doesn't mind. Tell her about how much she fails in life. Not a problem. It's not like the comments don't hurt her after piling up- she isn't simply saying "your comments don't affect me!" It's more like she can appear blatantly unaffected by your twitters, even if the comments hurt her quite a bit. She will simply brush it off, and move the conversation along. Metaphorically, she puts all of this anger and sadness into a box, in order to focus on her school life and work. Of course, this results in a lot of pent up sadness, but she often just cries it out at home, or in random locations when no one is around.
Flaws:
Sour as a Lemon: Through her sweet demeanor, Sable has a dark, dark inner self. Secretly, and perhaps a bit unconsciously, Sable is very sadistic. She enjoys the pain of others (save for her friends and loved ones), but tries not to completely cause it. It's not so much that she's running and stabbing people just to watch them bleed. It's simply that she enjoys watching a stranger trip, looking at a child frightened of a clown or gazing on the nerd getting beat up at school. As such, she loves horror and gorey movies- Saw is her favorite movie series. Of course, all of this is very, very underwraps. She will present herself as a sweet little girl, but it's more like how Ladon keeps his love of cute things underwraps- it slips out in little bits and pieces.
The Remote Control: While her attitude is very cute, Sable's demeanor is also very controlling. She has what you might call a "superiority" complex. She doesn't necessarily feel above the person, or better than them, she just wants to be in control of the situation, no matter what. If she's losing in a game, you can bet your bottom dollar she's upset about it. She'll use her puppy dog look to get you to pick up that bottle, simply because she doesn't want to get up. Sable hasn't necessarily noticed how controlling she is, she just thinks that everyone sort of strangely bends to her will. When not in control, she throws a fit and becomes very pouty.
We do this MY way: It's not like Sable has no morals at all; she just has her own personal set of morals. Letting someone die by stealing their starseed is perfectly fine- they went to a better use. Pushing someone down who is in your way is completely normal. While others might not understand her system, because of her superiority complex, she believes that no one has the right to tell her she's wrong. She literally only answers to beryl and those ordered to be her masters (ie; her parents, teachers, people she respects, etc.) Anyone below her has to play by her rules. It's Sable's way or the highway. If someone disobeys this, her personality flips and she becomes very rude and demeaning, until they finally relent. If they don't relent, she simply pouts and storms off, and will hold a grudge for the rest of time. (It's a bit hilarious to watch, but you certainly don't want to tell her that).

Weapon:
Stage one : Key As stated, keys, like you might unlock a door with. Not a modern key, but a sort of old fashioned key. Colored a polished, shining silver, her key looks pretty much like the image reference. Useful for chucking, and that's about it.
Stage two : Bigger Key Now the key has grown about the length from fingertip to elbow (a foot or two). It has a handle in the middle of the key head, and looks a bit like the princess' kaleidoscopes in terms of size and shape. The head is heart shaped, whereas the end still has two prongs, like a normal key. Still colored bright silver, but has a sort of pinkish hue to it now. Does nothing except work exceptionally well for whacking others.
Stage Three : Keyblade Yes, yes, "just like kingdom hearts!" Moving on, the key has now become about as long as an arm. The two prongs on the end now merge and form a heart, similar to the "lady luck" keyblade. The head, where the handle is, has grown more intricate like so (referring to the bottom key). The key is still blantantly silver, but the head/handle is now noticeably pinker. reference to come later~
Stage Four : Double Keyblades Basically, Sable gains a second keyblade, identical to her stage three one. As a general king, they can both grow about a foot or so longer or shorter, as Sable deems necessary. They can only grow straight out though, the keys won't curve. Both keys are now silver with pink handles and heads, and they have a small pink heart-shaped jewel in the center of the hilt.
personal youma?: not quite sure on the requirements or whatever for this, but just in case sable does get a youma, it would be a pinkish sort of leopard, but a bit more mutated looking. Would be large enough that she could ride it?
