"Tch. And have you fly away, not likely." Hiei growled back. Or have him turn out to be insane and attack for no good reason. Hiei did not need that happening again. Then he'd be no good to his mate, period. noting the Phim's glance, Hiei tucked his wings further into his body, growling again. After all, it was none of this Phim's business.
Glancing quickly at the flower, Hiei looked back at the Phim. "How do I know you're not lying?" The Phim didn't seem to be lying, and Hiei was pretty good with body language. Nearly a mind reader, some foxes might say, but he wasn't going to be putting his mate in danger on a hunch, informed as it was.

Great... one time he decides to take a vacation for himself. Well actually it wasnt really a vacation and he gets attacked by his second least favorite kind of daeva. "Yes its true I could possibly fly away but since you came down here to get my 'help' I would guess you would just follow me so why bother exerting the energy to try and out run you" Kaname explained. Ugh ut was almost as bad as dealing with his crazy sister in law. It was good he had plenty of practice. "Dont act all huffy like its a sin to look at your wings. I was checking to see if you are hurt because there is slightly different treatment between a daeva and lets say a phim." Kaname shook his head.
"as for the lying. I guess I could be but I am a phim. We are naturally nice foxes" Kaname stated. he let out a sigh and shook his head. "look the best thing would be fore me to go and see the fox you want the cure from. Then you'll know I mean no harm and am not giving you the wrong treatment." Kaname answered.

"This makes sure I don't have to exhert myself." Hiei replied. Mostly, he added to himself, it also assured that the Phim wouldn't end up dying if he did try to get away. Hiei was well aware he had violent tendencies. The Deava's smirk was filled with bloodlust at that thought. "And you don't have to be nosey. Whether it's my wing or someone else's shouldn't matter. A generic remedy should work just fine."
The deava narrowed his eyes at the Phim. The cave wasn't too far away, but flying was out of the question. Hell, Hiei didn't even want to take him to his mate while he was injured. Not that Yoko couldn't take care of himself...Hiei was just being protective. "Fine. Follow me. I advise not trying to get away. And we're not flying." The deava said, putting his sword away.

“You really know how to make a fox want to help you” Kaname stated shaking his head. None the less he said he would help so no matter what the daeva dished out he would stick to his word. Besides it did matter, how bad the wound was, if it was infected. Oh well he would see it when he did. He followed behind the daeva and crushed his building irritation. It wouldn’t do to get in a fight and get injured and go home and scare Himeko. “I said I wouldn’t try to get away” Kaname stated… oh well apparently half of him wasn’t listening to the other half.
Yoko managed successfully stuff the deer carcass somewhere where it would keep until Hiei got back and unfortunately with no chance of a fight. He was apparently a lot more bored than he first suspected as he was now decorating the cave with different plants. “well if this isn’t a daeva hazard” Yoko said shaking his head. Perhaps he could go uproot and replant that dangerous animal eating plant he saw over on his way here. Hmm that would be a fun décor. He popped his head out the cave entrance and saw Hiei “Oh Hiei you….” He trailed off seeing as some one was with Hiei and let out a groan. Hadnt he told the silly a** fox his wing was perfectly fine. Even worse was the fox looked some what familiar perhaps he had seen him around Xi lan. Xi lan was fun to steal from after all.

All Hiei ever answered Kaname with was his trademark, "Hn." Yoko would know exactly waht he meant, but no one else was ever able to translate from Hiei-speak. Still, he was obviously not agreeing with the Phim since the sword stayed out the entire time.
Coming into view of the cave, Hiei rolled his eyes. Honestly, Hiei hadn't been gone that long. "Yes, I did. And you're not allowed to complain. You've been acting wrong." Hiei said, grumbling the last bit to himself and nudging the Phim he'd caught towards Yoko. "Fix him. And he'll know if you try anything stupid."

Oh joy, why was it when ever he tried to go out for vacation he met up with types like these. Well at least Hiei was a little bit more tolerable than his sister in law. Besides what kind of phims had this stranger met that he didn’t believe phims, even though Kaname was hardly the ideal phim. Was acting odd… wasn’t he here for a hurt wing?
Ugh there was definitely no living with this daeva. You told him one thing and the stubborn little grump went out and did the exact opposite. Pffft he was such a worry wart. “I told you I was feeling fine. The wing is just being stubborn… shouldn’t I use your method to deal with it?” Yoko teased but hiei was a stubborn little grump so the best thing would be to just suffer through it. “And I have not been acting odd….” Okay so that there was a lie but not the less he unfurled the hurt wing. Oh Hiei was going to get it. It was dangerous for a thief to show that he was injured. Foxes started getting all sorts of crazy ideas.
(I kind of want to do a picture with hiei and Yoko tormenting poor kaname *is eaten*)

Hiei leveled a glare at Yoko. The only one allowed to use his method of treating wounds, which was to ignore them entirely, was himself. And any other fox he didn't give a flying ******** about. Let them ignore their wounds and die, Hiei didn't care. And the Phim was too acting odd, the liar.
"Hn. Stupid Fox." Hiei said, which basically meant: 'Shut up, I'm going to take care of you whether you want me to or not, and I'll protect you too, though I'm never going to say that out loud.' Why, yes, Hiei was talented enough to fit all that in three words.

Yoko glared right back not intimidating in the least. Oh he should have thought it was something stupid when Hiei left suddenly a few minutes ago. Pfft couldn’t an injured phim just rest in peace of all things. Plus he was a specialist in plants he could tend to his own wounds thank you very much. Of course that wouldn’t work with Hiei apparently and he had to go out and find a whole new shaman. Oh great now he was bumbling in his head.
“Hiei I can protect my own self thank you very much. Fine fine do what ever you want obviously I am not going to be persuaded stupid firefly.” He growled. Yoko was quite fluent in hiei speak after all since when they where first mates all he got where “Hn’s all over the place.
Yep these two where definitely mates if Yoko could find enough words to yell about from the simple “Hn. Stupid fox. Kaname stayed silent and looked at the wing. “There is a slight infection to it. I’m going to have to create a herb paste to help get rid of it, then it should probably be bandaged for a while.” Kaname stated. “but it should heal up with no problems. If you take care of it, that is” now how in the world was he going to solve this odd behavior. It would help if he knew Yoko more but he hardly had the time and he doubted hiei would tell him

Hiei snorted in dismissal of Yoko's arguments. Yes, Yoko could take care of himself. But he wasn't that was the whole point. He'd been acting weird and let his wing get infected, minor or not. And until Yoko stopped being wierd, Hiei was going to make sure he was in top physical condition. If the Stupid Fox went out and got more hurt or sick, Hiei would take advantage and beat him up before fixing him.

Stupid worried mates and their stupid medling, he was beginning to take care of himself. He just was busy doing other things like stealing. After all since the black haired daeva had dragged him out of retirement he had a reputation to uphold. After all a bunch of upstarts had begun popping up all over the place. There was the other king of thieves. A band that had been caught by the “proper” authorities and one that was still at large. It wouldn’t do.
“Some how I think most of what I need is in there” Kaname stated looking over yoko’s shoulder at the cave in front of them. It seemed completely covered in plants. He wondered if this was revenge towards the daeva. Then again why not have garden cultivating thieves. He had seen stranger things in his life. He looked over towards the phim and daeva and wondered if it was okay for him to go inside the cave. It was only far he got permission first.

Hiei looked at the cave and grumbled. "You and your love of plants. What do you need, phim." Hiei demanded of his captured Phim. Hiei knew most of the plants, he just didn't know all the things they could be used for. That way Yoko's thing. Hiei just knew what was what so that he could fetch them if he absolutely had to.

“Pff I like my plants they are very cuddly. Besides what other thief do you know that deals with plants. It makes me very effective and unique. However I still think you should have let me get the seeds of that large animal eating plant” Yoko stated in an almost pouty tone. It was a once in a life time opportunity and he had been dragged away. Oo he should go back and try to find it again some time soon.
Ugh he had to go from memory. Well it made the process a bit harder. “Okay get me…” Kaname started and listed off a whole bunch of plant types. He put in some that where a bit extra just in case in the cave there wasn’t that certain plant it could be substituted for something else.

"Yes, and it would eat all the prey in the area...including you and me." Hiei growled, going into the cave to snap off what the other phim wanted. He kept the heat of his flames as low as possible. Taking stuff off the plants for use was fine. Hurting the damn things for no reason...not so much. Coming back out with a mouthful of plants, Hiei dropped them at the healer's feet. "That should be everything."

yoko shook his head and leveled a glare at Hiei, "just because you dont have any luck with plants doesn't mean I couldn't keep it from attacking random things. It was soo rare too" he sighed and then looked back over at their new comer. He briefly wondered what the phim thought about being kidnapped and dragged to a den belonging to thieves in order to heal one. It was definitely a day cramper. "Besides it wasnt big enough to eat the both of us"
The curiosity on how these two end up as companions and mates was definitely eating Kaname up a bit, but he was used to denying what he wanted so he just continued grounding up the paste, Besides it truly wasnt his business, even if it did promise to be quite entertaining.

Hiei looked right at Yoko, put on his fiercest glare, and said in a completely deadpan voice, "No." Hiei's tail swished irritably behind him and he switched his glare onto the other phim. Why was he taking so long? Maybe he was planning an assassination attempt? Hiei let a growl loose, but didn't do anything. Kurama would know if the other Phim tried to poison him with plants.
