“You know, you’re pretty,” a stranger’s voice giggles as Parasite leads them into the alley. Foolish people walking alone in the streets at the dead of night, they’re always such easy targets. Parasite watches from the shadows, staying hidden until just the right moment. As the couple come into view, their newest victim turns out to be quite young, only about their age or even younger, with blonde hair not much longer than theirs. There isn’t much light, and it’s a new moon hanging in the sky tonight, so they can’t really see the target clearly, not knowing whether it’s a man or woman. But either way, it doesn’t quite matter.
The stranger looks straight at Parasite, with her black dress and dark hair, and smiles widely. “Yeah, really pretty,” it whispers to no-one in particular, and they can’t help but feel just a touch flattered. It would be nice to hear this target praise them a bit more, but before it can say any more, its head crashes into the nearest wall with a resounding crack.
They know they don’t have much time. The target is young and will recover from the shock quickly, so they have about 30 seconds tops. As per routine, Parasite goes through the stranger’s pockets, searching for anything of value or use. They are mildly surprised by the amount of useless junk this person accumulated in their inventory. Crumped leaflets? Dead, dried flowers? What kind of trash is this?
Just as the stranger is beginning to come to, Parasite spots something shiny out of the corner of her eye. A small bracelet or wristband of sorts, obviously ill-fitting and almost slipping down the stranger’s hand. Parasite thinks it’s pretty and would look nice on her, so in a flash, she snatches it off.
The target, who by all means should still be at least dazed by the blow, seems to recover completely upon sensing this. Before Parasite can toss the bracelet to her brother, the stranger lunges at her, screaming, “Hell no, b***h!” The blonde obviously has no experience in combat, save for maybe a few unskilled brawls, but claws and hits Parasite with a sort of blind fury. This makes them angry. This stranger was trying to hurt them.
Tapeworm’s black boot smashes into the target’s face, and the body goes flying back away from his sister. There’s another cracking sound, and judging by the blood on the victim’s face now, its nose is probably broken. But the stranger seems to ignore this, and pounces at Parasite once again, intent on retrieving its bracelet.
“Give it back, give it back! It’s mine!” The stranger doesn’t seem to realize how immature it sounds, and they know that they have to teach this one a lesson, because it doesn’t know that it should never ever try to hurt them. Parasite kicks the stranger square in the chest as it tries to grab the wristband, and as it’s still reeling, Tapeworm attacks. Two on one isn’t fair, but no-one ever said that this had to be, so the target is soon curled up in a bloodied heap on the floor.
They’re still angry now, and they want to hurt this person more. Yes, it tried to hurt them, so it’s okay for them to hurt it. Tapeworm pulls out one of his knives as Parasite pins the target down. “I’m going to teach you a lesson,” they mutter in unison. “You hurt me, so I hurt you.” Tapeworm thinks that this person deserves to suffer, and Parasite agrees. The fingers are a good place to start.
The target’s face is still defiant, even though it’s bruised and bloody, but that snarl is wiped right off when they snap the first finger. Parasite stuffs something into its mouth that that it won’t be able to scream too loud, and by the time they get to the third finger on the first hand, the blonde is has tears streaming down its cheeks and its sobbing and crying like a baby. “Not so fierce now, are you?” They taunt, voices blending together to form one.
When they leave the dark alleyway with the wristband tucked safely in Parasite’s pocket, the stranger is sprawled out on the ground sobbing, and reaching both hands full of mangled fingers towards them, though lacking the strength or conviction to stop them from taking what may or may not rightfully belong to it.

Gah, I really don’t think I managed to get Tapeworm & Parasite in character. They’re so hard to write. Fun, but hard.
Anyways, I’m embarking on a bit of a NQT crack pairing (as in even more crack than our usual stuff, as hard as it is to believe) challenge. I’ve made this list of pairings I’m going to write, and pretty much each character is going to be appearing in one, and one only.
This was meant to be Parasite x Eli at first, since I thought, they’re kind of similar in some senses, and they’d probably get along. Then I realised that there was no way I’d be able to separate Tapeworm & Parasite, so I added him in as well. And somehow, something that was supposed to be all cutesy and funny.. Turned into this.
I really need more practice writing. I’m not sure if this turned out well or not. orz
