Holding up a hand to silence the rambling new girl Albali picked up Derp and fixed her with a long stare. "The phone. Spit it out. I know you have it." There were two firm shakes of the cat so that her cowbell clanged rather oddly and then a light toss with a shower of sparkles. The puffball sprawled all over Albali's black shoe looking rather adoring and uttering once more: "Waffles nowwww?"
In what looked like a long-practiced move of the best camwhore she lifted it and took a picture with a smile and a little salute before handing it to Kallichore. "This is your senshi cellphone. Keep it with you and don't get it mixed up with your normal cell okay? You take a picture and it enables you to call that senshi at any time and text too. These cats are mostly useful except this one." There was at least some affection in her as the kitten was nudged over to Kallichore's foot instead.
"Listen. It's dangerous to stand around but if we go get coffee and buy this ingrate some waffles I can explain things?" It was going to wreak havoc on her schedule but well...recruiting was part of her job now.

The new senshi couldn't help but lean down and pet Derpraline. She was sweet, kind and well... special, but that didn't mean she didn't have a heart of gold. To tell the truth, Christa would have loved to buy her some waffles. Albali suggested getting some coffee and chatting about things in a safer environment, which sounded amazing after what they'd just been through. Wearily, Christa nodded to the request. "You're definitely right. Sorry about the rambling... I'm sure you had the same reaction too. A cup of coffee sounds amazing."
Just thinking about her comfortable civilian clothes made the transformation back into "normal" much easier than expected. Christa's special pen appeared again and she walked to the sidewalk to gather her things. It didn't look like anyone was around to see them, which was a blessing in disguise. A scraped knee, tense muscles, a still-pounding heart but... she made it out with her life. That was something Christa had to keep in perspective. Once all of her things were gathered, the teen attempted to walk like nothing out of the ordinary had happened to her that night. Turning to Albali, she motioned for them to leave.
"Lead the way?"
