{PRP} Just an Accident {IdoneaXAmelia Nox}

She nodded feeling that regardless it would be ok, Sure she was still a bit scared for what was going to happen but this filly how ever strange she looked was nice.. and it comforted her to know that even this stranger was willing to try to help. "Thank you..." She touched her nose to Amelia once more, cuddling up to her. "Friends?"

Amelia was not used to the touch but she didn’t mind it, she felt accepted as a foal for the first time in her short life. This little filly hadn’t fled in terror or began laughing at her. A warm smile painted her countenance and she nodded her head at Idonea. Her first friend that was not her sister, she couldn’t be happier though she knew she had a job yet unfinished with this filly. She needed to get her home and help her to learn a way of communicating with others. Perhaps they could come up with a language all their own. “Friends” She repeated.

She couldn't help but smile at the nod. A friend her own, not just her sister and this one was her size even. Karloff was friendly... and so was his little raccoon but he was an adult. She frowned some. Karloff had met her before this.. she'd been hearing then.. how could she talk to him and her family now that she couldn't hear.. "Communication's.... difficult now.... You help me teach my family??"

Amelia looked to her new friend and nodded once again, agreeing to help her come up with a language she could understand somehow. What would they do? Hoof signals would be rather difficult, perhaps there was a combination of movements they could do that would mean things? Her mind began working as she tried to figure it out. Then she looked to Idonea for some sort of input, what would be easiest for her. “How?” She mouthed and spoke loudly, allowing the vibration of the word to thrum in her throat.

She thought about how... stamping only went so far. Maybe.. what they were doing after all....was the best they would be able to do? Her ears twitched in an almost distraught fashion. Maybe.. they could make this all a bit more elaborate.. "Work on what we've already done??"

Nodding Amelia began to think of ways they could expand on what they already had begun. Perhaps they could pick crucial words and make some kind of symbol for it. Maybe just the angle of a leg or the swish of a tail combined with something else? She thought of a word and pressed her side close to Idonea, making it easy for her to hear the words coming from her diaphragm. “Home.” Was the first word she thought they could develop a signal for. First she had to let Idonea know what she was going to talk about though.

Her ears wiggled some and she looked back across the water, her tail flapping up and down a couple of times as she nodded in the direction her parents resided. "That way's home." She gave a small giggle and thought of how to make a sign for that.

Amelia looked in the direction her new friend had motioned in and nodded in comprehension. How could they make a sign for home? With a shrug she moved her hoof in a circular motion and stamped in the middle of the circle. The symbol reminded her of saying one resided in an area but she wasn’t sure Idonea would understand. Looking up at the filly she gave her a quizzical look, seeking approval or disapproval.

She looked over the mark and then up to her new friend. "Home?" She made sure not to yell as she spoke the word. She nodded her approval. It seemed like a good enough sign to her that could be used to let some one know if she was talking about home. She thought about what sign she could use to mean her father now. Giggling she took a stance as though she were trying to stretch and force herself to be taller before pawing at the ground a couple of times. "Father"

Amelia allowed for a gentle smile as her friend agreed to the symbol she had just come up with. She then watched Idonea begin to mimic the posture and mannerisms a stallion normally had and call it her father. With a small giggle at the foals silly posture she nodded her head. "Father." She repeated simply. She began to think of one for mother so she mimiced her mother. Batting her eyelashes and taking elegant strides forward. "Mother?" She enquired.

Ge gave a whinnied giggle and nodded her head liking the idea for the mimicry of a mare and a stallion to mean the parents. This would take them time, but she was sure with Amelia's help they'd create a way for her to communicate with others and other to communicate with her in return.

She then thought for a moment. What could they use to mean sibling or sister? Puffing out a breath of air she looked rather.. exasperated with herself and that fact that for the life of her, she couldn't think of a symbol for her sister.

Amelia laughed along with Idonea at her portrayal of a mare. She hadn't laughed like this in a long time, even when her sister attempted to make her giggle she couldn't find the motivation to do so. This new language they were creating would be difficult but they were on the right path and she was beginning to feel confident with their progress. She then took note of the sigh from her friend and cocked her head questioningly. "What?" She shrugged her shoulders to further Idonea's understanding of what she was asking.

"Sister.. sign. symbol?" She gave a shrug. she didn't know where to start but then it hit her. her sister was always trying to get her to play or chase things or mimic her. She then made a mock nagging motion as though she were nagging at a sibling for doing something. "Sibling?" she tilted her head off to the side questioningly.

Amelia watched a moment and considered the meaning of the sign and smiled. "Yes." She enunciated with a nod. She knew all to well the motions a sibling went through. She then began thinking of symbols Idonea would need to know. 'Help' was the first one to come to her mind and she began formulating a symbol for it. Rearing up only slightly so her front legs bounced off the ground three times she combined it with three nods of her head. "Help?" She asked.

She followed the motion with her head before trying it out herself. It worked she thought.. Who could mistake it for meaning anything else? Giving a good nod, she grinned and thought of other things she might need to know. Her thoughts however were disrupted by a rumbling sensation that gave off an audible sound to anyone close enough. Still she only felt the rumbling of hunger.

Looking at Amelia, she gave a rather sheepish grin and smile. "Seems I'm hungry.." Hunger. that could be another sign but how to display it??
